Skin grafting, although a relatively classic and well-known technique, still has multiple disadvantages such as secondary contracture of the skin graft, sunken depression, poor elasticity, and color mismatch. Adding adipose tissues significantly improved the graft appearance compared to traditional skin grafting methods. Herein, we report two cases of modified skin graft procedures, both showing positive outcomes. In case 1, a mechanically processed fat-derived product was injected into the lower half of the skin graft area. In case 2, left upper eyelid blepharoplasty was performed, and the orbital fat strip was transferred and placed under the recipient area on the right side. Hair growth was observed only in case 1, whereas the extent of sunken depression was significantly reduced in both cases. Compared to traditional skin grafting methods, adding fat components to the skin graft recipient area improved the appearance and blood supply, together with enhancing the regenerative rate. 相似文献

Summary Three cases of homologous and one of autologous free fat block transplantation for breast augmentation were seen 10 to 20 years after operation due to late complications. Displacement of heavy tumors, local mastitis or disrupted capsules following local trauma led to admission. 对猪肉(五花肉) 进行不同时间的焐炖, 采用气相色谱法对其中饱和脂肪酸(S)、单不饱和脂肪酸(M)、多不饱和脂肪酸(P) 进行分析, 研究表明: 随着烹饪时间的延长, 猪肉中十碳(10∶0)、十二碳(12∶0)、十四碳(14∶0)、十六碳(16∶0)、十八碳(18∶0) 等饱和脂肪酸含量大幅度地下降, 2.5小时时下降46.04(P< 0.01), 4 小时下降了37.9(P< 0.05), 2.5 小时达到最低点。而单、多不饱和脂肪酸随着烹饪时间的加长而呈不断上升趋势, 软脂油酸(16∶1)、油酸(18∶1) 等单不饱和脂肪酸较亚油酸(18∶3)、花生四烯酸(20∶4) 等多不饱和脂肪酸上升的幅度大些, 在2.5 小时时, 升高值为最多 (P< 0.05), 分别为35、15.19、20.52、13.6、10.16, 而在4小时时呈上升趋势, 却不存在显著性差异(P> 0.05)。提示: 肥肉只要通过适当时间的炖煮, 其内部营养构成会发生深刻的改变, 就可以变不利因素(脂肪、胆固醇、饱和脂肪酸降低) 为有利因素 (单不饱和脂肪酸、多不饱和脂肪酸增加), 比较适合中老年人食用 相似文献

Follow-up of two hepatic angiolipomas in a patient without evidence of tuberous sclerosis is reported. Initially, the lesions
presented as homogenously enhancing masses, which were nearly isodense to normal liver tissue on plain CT scans. Focal nodular
hyperplasia was assumed. One year later, fat was detected in the growing tumors and percutaneous core biopsy revealed hepatic
angiolipomas. Natural history of these rare lesions is unknown, and this is to the best of our knowledge the first observation
of fatty metamorphosis in such a benign, mesenchymal hepatic neoplasm.

From 1982 to 1991, 2500 patients underwent liposuction to thin the superficial areolar layer of fat. The patients were of all ages and had different types of skin. From the results the author concludes that the new superficial liposculpting, based on the controlled scar retraction of the thin cutaneous adipose flap remaining after the treatment, allows for very good results even in very flaccid and aged skin. A digital molding of the residual fat also improves the contouring. Syringe liposcupture is a method that combines two relatively new techniques of plastic surgery: syringe liposuction and fat grafting. We can reshape the face and the body by removing localized fat deposits and reinjecting this fat where needed. When we do not reinject, we call the technique reduction liposculpture. In 1989 we introduced a new technique—superficial syringe liposculpture—to treat patients with flaccid skin, superficial irregularities or depressions, cellulite, and liposuction sequelae. The technique combines syringe liposculpture, superficial liposuction, and our method of treating skin irregularities by breaking the fibrous adherences and injecting fat superficially. 相似文献

Body mass is known to be related to measures of bone mineral density (BMD) as well as to parameters of quantitative ultrasound
(US). To examine the effect of the body compartment's fat mass and lean body mass on quantitative ultrasonic bone parameters,
data from a sample of 3241 German women were analyzed. Anthropometric measures, including skinfold thickness, were obtained
from standardized measurements, and fat and lean body mass were derived from classical regression formulas based on skinfold
measurements. Ultrasonic bone measurements were performed on the right os calcis, and speed of sound (SOS) and broadband ultrasound
attenuation (BUA) were determined. Women were grouped into pre- and postmenopausal status; postmenopausal women were further
stratified into ever and never hormone-replacement user. Correlation analysis indicated lean body mass to be stronger correlated
with BUA than fat mass in both pre- (r = 0.23; P= 0.0001) and postmenopausal women with (r = 0.19; P= 0.0001) and without hormone replacement therapy (HRT) (r = 0.26; p = 0.0001). SOS demonstrated very small or no associations
with body mass or its components. Multiple linear regression models were used to describe the relationship among body weight,
fat mass, and lean body mass on BUA after adjustment for confounding variables. Both in pre- and postmenopausal women lean
body mass was more strongly related to BUA than fat mass. However, body mass measures explained only small amounts of the
overall variance in BUA (R2= 1–3% in premenopausal women; R2= 1% postmenopausal with HRT; R2= 4–5% in postmenopausal women without HRT). In conclusion, the strong influence of body mass and its components previously
reported for BMD was not observed for quantitative ultrasonic bone parameters.

Long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCP) are thought to be required for optimal nervous system development in the newborn. A commercial milk formula containing LCP (Aptamil-LCP) with a fatty acid profile closely resembling breast milk, has recently been introduced for term infants. The absorption of fatty acids in term infants was examined in a double-blind randomized controlled trial comparing Aptamil-LCP ( n = 20) and standard Aptamil ( n = 20). Formula-fed newborn infants were studied from birth for 14 d. Fat balances (3 d) were performed from d 10. A 3-d stool collection was performed from d 10 in a parallel breastfed group ( n = 21). Plasma samples were taken on d 6. Median fat excretion (mg kg−1 ) was 897.1, 615.0 and 355.2 with Aptamil, Aptamil-LCP and breastfeeding, respectively. The median total fat absorption coefficient in Aptamil-LCP-fed infants was higher than in those fed standard Aptamil ( p < 0:01). These findings were accounted for by differences in the excretion and absorption of long-chain saturated fatty acids (C14:0, C16:0 and C18:0). Higher fat excretion was associated with bulkier and firmer stools. Only trace amounts of LCP were detected in the stools of all groups. This accounted for less than 4% of dietary intake in Aptamil-LCP-fed infants. No differences in the utilization of LCP from Aptamil-LCP and breast milk feeding were apparent. Plasma phospholipid fatty acid composition data reflected differences in dietary LCP intake. Thus, PL LCP levels were highest in the breastfed infants and lowest in the Aptamil-fed infants, with values for the Aptamil-LCP-fed group falling in between. 相似文献
