用光镜、电镜观察狗颌面高速投射伤区小血管的病理变化。实验发现:伤区小血管可见内皮细胞缺失、管壁断裂及细胞内的变性、坏死等病理变化,外径1.0~2,5mm的小血管损伤可远达距伤缘3.0cm处,该处血管7d后基本恢复。提示:临床运用血管化游离组织移植修复颌面部火器伤后的组织缺损时,其血管蒂应与距伤缘3.0cm以外的受区血管吻合,手术最好在伤后7d进行。  相似文献

Background: Despite years of research, the treatment of acute kidney injury (AKI) remains a significant challenge. Animal studies presented causal links between elevated regulatory T cell (Treg) response and better prognosis in AKI. Previous studies in mice and humans showed that TIM-3+ Treg cells were more potent than TIM-3- Treg cells. In this study, we investigated the role of TIM-3 in Treg in AKI patients.

Methods: Peripheral blood from AKI patients and healthy controls were gathered, and TIM-3+ Treg subset was examined.

Results: Compared to healthy controls, the AKI patients presented a significant upregulation in the frequency of circulating CD4+CD25+ T cells; however, the majority of this increase was from the CD4+CD25+TIM-3- subset, and the frequency of CD4+CD25+TIM-3+ T cells was downregulated in AKI patients. In both healthy controls and AKI patients, the CD4+CD25+TIM-3+ T cells expressed higher levels of Foxp3, and were more potent at expressing LFA-1, LAG-3, CTLA-4, IL-10 and TGF-β. In addition, the CD4+CD25+TIM-3+ T cells from both healthy controls and AKI patients presented higher capacity to suppress CD4+CD25- T cell proliferation than the CD4+CD25+TIM-3- T cells. Interestingly, the total CD4+CD25+ T cells from AKI patients presented significantly lower inhibitory capacity than those from healthy controls, indicating that the low frequency of CD4+CD25+TIM-3+ T cells was restricting the efficacy of the Treg responses in AKI patients.

Conclusions: We demonstrated that TIM-3 downregulation impaired the function of Treg cells in AKI. The therapeutic potential of CD4+CD25+TIM-3+ T cells in AKI should be investigated in future studies.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the retraction time, forces, and torques applied to the football helmet during removal of the face mask with different face-mask removal tools. DESIGN AND SETTING: Subjects retracted the face mask of a football helmet mounted to a force platform in a laboratory setting. They removed a standard face mask by cutting or removing (or both) the lateral plastic loop straps using 4 different tools: the Trainer's Angel (TA), FM Extractor (FM), power screwdriver (SD), and Quick Release System (QR) in a counterbalanced fashion. SUBJECTS: Eighteen certified athletic trainers participated in this study. MEASUREMENTS: We started measuring time when the subject picked up the tool and ended when the face mask was in a fully retracted position. Maximum forces and torques were measured from the force platform during the retraction process. RESULTS: The SD and QR retracted the face mask significantly faster than the TA and FM. Forces producing superior-inferior translation were least with the SD. The SD and QR produced less lateral translation and rotation and lateral flexion moment than the TA and FM. The FM produced less torque in the lateral flexion moment than the TA. CONCLUSIONS: Tools that removed the loop straps (SD, QR) were faster and produced less force and torque on the helmet than the tools that cut through the loop straps (TA, FM).  相似文献

本研究旨在探讨茶黄烷醇(TF)对离体缺血再灌注鼠心心律失常的作用。结果表明,对照组缺血后再灌注初期心律失常发生率高达91.67%(11/12),显著高于TF组(P<0.005),TF组心律失常发生率仅为23.08%(3/13);对照组心律失常持续时间平均为27.91±6.94min,TF组平均为9.83±6.21min,两组比较差异显著(P<0.001)。上述结果表明TF具有显著的抗缺血再灌性心律失常作用。  相似文献

用超微结构形态计量方法分析了大鼠30%烫伤后早期肝细胞超微结构的变化规律。烫伤后,肝细胞内精原迅速减少,至6小时,几乎全部消失。烫伤后2小时、6小时。肝细胞内溶酶体的体积密度、数目密度和平均体积均明显增大。线粒体于烫伤后半小时出现基质密度增加、嵴扩张,烫伤后2小时、6小时,线粒体肿胀,其体积密度、平均体积增大。实验结果提示:在严重烧伤后数小时内,肝细胞的超微结构即出现明显的改变。本文对出现这些变化的机制进行了讨论。  相似文献

We studied the changes in the anti-oxidant capacity of tissues, such as heart, liver, and blood in male and female rats, as a parameter for evaluating oxidative stress after either a prolonged (210 min) or an exhausting bout of swimming. Furthermore, we also investigated exercise-induced changes in the electrophysiological properties, measured in vitro, of papillary muscle fibres. Small decreases of anti-oxidant capacities after prolonged exercise [0.10 (SEM 0.04) in heart, 0.43 (SEM 0.19) in liver, 0.22 (SEM 0.05) in blood] and greater decreases after exhausting exercise [0.23 (SEM 0.04) in heart, 0.90 (SEM 0.29) in liver, 0.34 (SEM 0.04) in blood] were found in tissues from the male rats. For the female rats, similar changes were found only in the blood [0.11 (SEM 0.07) and 0.35 (SEM 0.06) for prolonged and exhausting exercise, respectively]. Liver and heart anti-oxidant capacity remained unchanged after prolonged exercise, while after exhausting swimming it underwent a decrease almost the same as found in the male rats, though the swimming time to exhaustion (endurance capacity) was much greater [706 (SEM 10) min and 444 (SEM 32) min for the females and males, respectively]. The duration of the action potential, recorded from papillary muscle fibres, underwent changes related to the decreases in heart anti-oxidant capacity. In fact, the action potential duration (APD) was shorter only in preparations from the male rats after prolonged exercise, but in all preparations after exhausting exercise. After such exercise, the APD was similar for the male and female rats [37.1 (SEM 3.4) ms and 37.0 (SEM 3.6) ms, respectively]. Such a pattern was independent of stimulation frequency, since it was found substantially unchanged when the frequency was increased from 1 to 5 Hz. We concluded that the different susceptibilities to the effects of physical exercise, exhibited by tissues from these male and female rats might have been related to different capacities to oppose oxidative stress effectively.  相似文献

Spinal cord injury (SCI) results in permanent paralysis and most often happens to teenagers and young adults. High risk behaviors are most often the cause; therefore these injuries are often preventable. In response to a gap in existing prevention programs, an elementary age SCI prevention program was developed, designed for implementation by teachers. Evaluation was carried out via a quasi-experimental pre-post comparison group design. Experimental students demonstrated significantly improved knowledge of SCI and its prevention. Similar changes in self-reported safety belt use were not noted. Development of the curriculum, related grant activities, and plans for national dissemination are described.  相似文献

Evaluated the utility of neuropsychological testing in predictingacademic outcome in children 1 year following traumatic braininjury (TBI). Fifty-one schoolage children who were admittedto hospital after TBI were assessed with a battery of neuropsychologicalmeasures at 3 months postinjury. Academic achievement was assessedat 3 and 12 months postinjury. The neuropsychological batteryincluded intelligence testing and measures of memory, learning,and speed of information processing. Academic outcome was assessedin terms of post-TBI changes in reading, spelling, and arithmetic;changes in teacher ratings of school performance; and changein school placement. According to logistic regression analysis,change in placement from regular to special education at 1-yearpost-TBI was predicted by injury severity and by neuropsychologicalperformance at 3 months post-TBI. Findings suggest that neuropsychologicaltesting is useful in identifying children with special educationalneeds subsequent to TBI.  相似文献

Tenosynovial thickening within the confined space of the carpal tunnel is thought to be the cause of the carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). However, little is known about the pathological mechanism of tenosynovial thickening. In this study, the role of prostaglandin E(2) (PGE(2)) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) (two representative molecules that can induce oedema by increasing vascular permeability) was analysed in CTS by using immunohistochemistry and enzyme-linked immunosorptive assay (ELISA). Expression of these molecules was compared with the patients' clinical histories and a temporary increase in production of these molecules was found in cells within the vessels and synovial lining during the intermediate phase of the syndrome when the histology of the tenosynovium changes from oedematous to fibrotic. Statistical analysis clearly demonstrated that there is a close correlation between the expression of PGE(2) and VEGF. Furthermore, immunohistochemical analysis with anti-proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) revealed that the area with distinct VEGF expression closely matched the area where endothelial cells, vascular smooth muscle cells, and synovial lining cells proliferate. In contrast, despite marked alteration in the extracellular matrix (ECM) component of the tenosynovium, the fibroblasts responsible for most ECM framework production do not proliferate during any phase of CTS. Histological analysis demonstrated that angiogenesis takes place only during the intermediate phase. Since clusters of capillaries and arterioles are often surrounded by type III collagen-rich, disorganized, degenerate connective tissue, which contains fewer fibroblasts than normal, angiogenesis appears to take place as a part of a regenerative reaction that results in fibrosis. These findings strongly indicate that both PGE(2) and VEGF are expressed in the tenosynovium in CTS during the intermediate phase and induce the histological changes seen in the tenosynovium.  相似文献

为探讨脊髓损伤后运动神经元及神经胶质细胞内神经生长因子(NGF)及其高亲和力受体(TrkA)表达的变化,用改良Allen重击法损伤SCI组动物T12脊髓,按伤后存活时间再将动物分为脊髓损1 d组、2 d组和5 d组。各组动物的脊髓切片经ABC法免疫组织化学染色,用光镜观察TrkA及NGF在脊髓前角运动神经元表达的变化和胶质纤维酸性蛋白(GFAP)及NGF免疫反应阳性胶质细胞的反应性增生程度,并进行图像分析。结果显示:脊髓损伤后前角运动神经元TrkA及NGF的表达随脊髓损伤后动物存活时间的延长逐渐上调;脊髓白质和灰质内尤其是皮质脊髓束内GFAP及NGF阳性胶质细胞明显增生;与此同时,室管膜细胞内亦可见明显的NGF免疫反应产物。上述结果表明,脊髓损伤可刺激脊髓前角运动神经元表达TrkA及NGF,通过自分泌维持受损神经元的存活;损伤部位反应性增生的胶质细胞亦可产生NGF,通过旁分泌作用于脊髓前角运动神经元或皮质脊髓束的轴突末梢,以维持运动神经元的存活及促进皮质脊髓束的再生;适时补充外源性神经营养素或改变损伤局部的微环境将有利于受损脊髓的修复和再生。  相似文献
