在Tanaka模型基础上,我们讨论了形状记忆合金热力学特性的本构关系。特别注意了桓温拉伸过程和强迫回复过程。本构方程的材料参数,即弹性模量D,变化张量Ω,热力弹性张量均以镍钛合金实验测试值来确定。在不同的应力-应变-温度关系试验中发现D和Ω与温度之间有很强的相关性。  相似文献

The pitch identification performance of absolute pitch possessors has previously been shown to depend on pitch range, key color, and timbre of presented tones. In the present study, the dependence of pitch identification performance on key color and timbre of musical tones was examined by analyzing hit rates, reaction times, and pupillary responses of absolute pitch possessors (n = 9) and nonpossessors (n = 12) during a pitch identification task. Results revealed a significant dependence of pitch identification hit rate but not reaction time on timbre and key color in both groups. Among absolute pitch possessors, peak dilation of the pupil was significantly dependent on key color whereas the effect of timbre was marginally significant. Peak dilation of the pupil differed significantly between absolute pitch possessors and nonpossessors. The observed effects point to the importance of learning factors in the acquisition of absolute pitch.  相似文献

It has recently been shown that hippocampal neurogenesis can be modulated either directly or indirectly by ascending cholinergic inputs from the basal forebrain. In the present work, we sought to address whether extended training in a spatial navigation task would affect hippocampal neurogenesis in the presence of a severe and selective cholinergic depletion. Young female rats received stereotaxic injections of the immunotoxin 192 IgG-saporin into the basal forebrain nuclei and/or the cerebellar cortex. Starting from 4 to 5 weeks post-lesion, and for the subsequent 2 weeks, the animals were trained on paradigms of reference and working memory in the water maze and received single daily i.p. injections of bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU) at the end of each testing session. In line with previous observations, a dramatic 80% decrease in neuron proliferation was seen in the dentate gyrus of lesioned animals, as compared to vehicle-injected or intact controls. Interestingly, however, rats subjected to maze training over 2 weeks, irrespective of their learning success, exhibited significantly fewer newborn neurons than matched controls with no maze exposure. Thus, at least for the type of task used here, which has previously been shown to impose a certain degree of stress, extended training and learning does not appear to affect proliferation in the dentate gyrus.  相似文献

In acute experiments on cats, the working capacity of the leg muscles during stimulation of the sciatic nerve was increased after division of the sciatic and femoral nerves. This effect was not due to changes in the circulation, for it persisted if the blood flow was stabilized. Young adult (8 months) and aged (26 months) female Wister rats were tested in a 12-arm radial maze in which the optimal strategy was to enter all arms without a repetition. In order to determine if possible age-associated alterations in behavior were correlated with defects in cholinergic. GABAergic and adrenergic neurons in the hippocampus and cerebral cortex, the activities of choline acetyltransferase (CAT), glutamic acid decarboxylase (GAD) and tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) were assayed in these regions of all animals after testing in the radial maze. In the maze, the aged rats continued to perform at the chance level after 15 trials, whereas the young rats had virtually mastered the task. The only significant neurochemical age effect was an increase in hippocampal TH. However, analysis of individual differences among rats revealed positive correlations between maze performance and hippocampal CAT in the aged group and cortical GAD in both the young and aged groups.  相似文献

Strychnine sulfate was used to reduce the amount of retrograde amnesia induced by electroconvulsive shock (ECS). Male Swiss-Webster mice were trained on the step-down passive avoidance task, given ECS and then injected intraperitoneally with either 0.1 mg/kg strychnine or saline. The animals were tested in the apparatus one to twenty-four hours later. Mice given ECS alone displayed partial memory for the training (by responding with longer latencies) if tested within two hours after training, but did not display retention twenty-four hours later. Animals given strychnine following ECS had significantly longer step-down latencies at twenty-four hours than did the saline or no injection controls. Further experiments replicated the basic results, and also showed that strychnine injections delayed two hours after the training trial attenuated ECS-induced retrograde amnesia, but that a three hour injection delay was ineffective. The results were interpreted in terms of changes in short-term and long-term memory.  相似文献

Researchers have hypothesized that compulsive checkers suffer from impairment in explicit memory (e.g., Sher, Frost, & Otto, 1983 ), low confidence in explicit memory (e.g., McNally & Kohlbeck, 1993 ), or both. However, empirical findings have been equivocal, possibly due to variability in effect sizes produced by small samples. Combining data across studies may yield more meaningful conclusions than can be surmised from a narrative review. Following a brief review of the literature on checking and memory, we present meta-analytic results suggesting that checkers are impaired on many types of memory tasks (e.g., verbal free recall, verbal cued recall, and recall of actions) and are less confident in recognition than noncheckers. We discuss implications of these findings, suggestions for future research, and limitations of this analysis.  相似文献

Although a number of studies have implicated the hippocampal formation in social recognition memory in the rat, a recent study in this laboratory has demonstrated that selective cytotoxic lesions, confined to the hippocampus proper (encompassing the four CA subfields and the dentate gyrus), are without effect on this behaviour. This finding suggests that the hippocampus proper does not subserve social recognition memory in the rat, but does not preclude the possibility that other areas of the hippocampal formation, such as the entorhinal cortex or subiculum, could support this form of learning. The present study addressed this issue by examining the effects of selective cytotoxic retrohippocampal (RHR) lesions (including both the entorhinal cortex and subiculum) on social recognition memory in the rat. RHR lesions produced a mild social recognition memory impairment, although lesioned animals still displayed a reduction in investigation time between the first and second exposure to the juvenile. This result is consistent with other studies which have implicated the retrohippocampal or parahippocampal area in olfactory recognition memory processes. It also suggests, however, that other areas, out with the retrohippocampal region, are also likely to play an important role in social recognition memory.  相似文献

We investigated whether the mismatch process between a rare stimulus and the trace of frequent stimulus, which generates the mismatch-negativity component of the event-related potential, can tolerate a small variation in the intensity of the frequent stimulus. Series of short tone pips were presented to 10 subjects while they were reading a book and ignoring the auditory stimuli. The intensity (mean 80dB) of the frequent stimulus (600 Hz) varied within a range that was different in different blocks. The probability of the infrequent stimuli which were, in different blocks, either intensity deviants (600 Hz/70dB) or frequency deviants (650 Hz/80dB) was 10%. Both deviant stimuli elicited mismatch negativity even when the intensity of the frequent stimulus varied, although the amplitude of this component decreased with the increasing variability of the frequent stimulus. These results show that the generator process of mismatch negativity tolerates some variation in the repetitive stimulus, thus indicating that this process is also activated in ecologically more valid conditions. This is crucial to the interpretation of the generator process of mismatch negativity as a biologically vital warning mechanism.  相似文献
