Existing in-between two worlds: supporting asylum seeking women living in temporary accommodation through a creative movement and art intervention

ABSTRACT

In this reflective article we introduce Moving Space, a creative movement and art project supporting female Asylum Seekers as they move through the transient space of temporary accommodation. We explore how this cross-modal approach supports women to anchor experiences of displacement, loss and trauma through the use of embodied and visual creative process. Moreover, we argue that the transient nature of the therapeutic space brings into focus women’s resourcefulness and resilience despite the adversity and uncertainty they are experiencing.

建国以来有关伤寒史学的研究成果表现在相关人物、相关著作、相关事件、学术关系及阶段特征五个方面。前期研究成果 ,尚不足以充分展示伤寒学历史地位和现实意义 ,更无充分依据昭示其未来之发展方向 ,因而有必要继续深入开展伤寒史学研究     

京剧各行当电声门图与嗓音声学检测参数分析与研究

目的探讨我国京剧艺术不同行当的电声门图和声测试的参数特点。方法采用电脑多媒体操作系统，使用Dr．Speech3．0软件，对137名20～64岁不同行当的专业演员发稳态元音屈／ae、／a：／、i：／同步进行声门图和声学测试的检测和分析，并以嗓音健康的普通人群作对照组。结果京剧艺术各行当元音／ae／、／a：／、／i：／声门图和声学测试除Fo差异比较显著外，其他声门图参数Fo、Jitter、Shimmer、NEE、CQ、CQP及声学测试参数Fo、Jitter、Shimmer、NEE均有其不同的参数值，有统计学意义（P〉0．01、P〉0．05）。对照组的各嗓音参数值均在DPSS提供的正常范围内。结论京剧各行当的嗓音有其独特的声学特征，引用Dr．Speech3．0软件可对各行当嗓音参数值进行临床客观检测与评估，对京剧嗓音的训练与保健提供了有益的临床价值。     

医学院校开设医学美术课程的实践研究

文章阐述了医学生人文素质、艺术素质教育的重要性,并结合实践介绍了医学美术的概念和内涵,指出医学院校开设医学美术课程对全面培养和提高医学生的素质发挥着一定作用。     

The Mother,The Psychoanalyst,The Poet and The Artist: Containment and Growth of The Mind

This paper considers the difficulties which humans have in using and developing their capacity for thought. Growth of the human mind, through attunement of the mother's unconscious experience with the infant's, is explored along with the distortions which arise because of aversion to uncertainty and suffering. It then looks at psychoanalysis and the verbal and visual arts in the light of the maternal function, and the way in which they also promote the growth of the mind. Four products of the human mind – an excerpt from an infant observation published in 1998, some post‐Kleinian psychoanalytic clinical case material from the 1980s, John Keats's 19th century Ode to a Nightingale and Lucas Cranach's 1526 painting, Adam and Eve – are used to illustrate some of the similarities and differences among them in giving conscious form to the unconscious.     

Working with parents in parent–child art psychotherapy

This article is part of a broader study that addresses the consolidation of a parent–child art psychotherapy model. It outlines the advantages, challenges, and art interventions that can be used by art therapists when working with parents. Twenty parent–child art therapists participated in this study. Fifteen were interviewed regarding their practical experience. The therapists’ perceptions of parents’ attitudes towards the experience of participation in therapy, encouraging parents to participate in the therapy, parental guidance, using art in therapy meetings, and the therapists’ own parenting were characterized. The findings can help familiarize mental health therapists, art therapy students, and novice art therapists with the parental aspects of the parent–child art psychotherapy model.
