目的:了解南充市农村中老年居民膳食习惯和高血压患病的现状,探索膳食因素对高血压的影响,为倡导科学合理的膳食习惯,预防高血压,控制心血管疾病的发生发展提供科学依据。方法:对南充市蓬安县两个乡镇439名40岁以上居民进行高血压的检测和膳食行为进行问卷调查。结果:该地农村中老年居民高血压的患病率为23.9%。多因素Logistic回归分析发现,喝牛奶、吃蔬菜水果、豆制品和动物内脏是高血压发生的保护因素;饮酒、吃咸的、腌制的食物是高血压发生的主要危险因素。结论:农村中老年居民高血压的患病率较高,且存在一些不合理的膳食习惯,应开展有效的营养知识的普及及正确饮食习惯的宣传教育,倡导科学合理的膳食习惯,预防高血压等慢性疾病。  相似文献

AimMushrooms are known to be a major food source of selenium, a mineral associated with diabetes prevalence. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between mushroom and dietary selenium intakes and blood glucose levels in a free-living adult Italian population.MethodsA total of 6879 men and 6891 women (aged 53.1 ± 11.0 years) with neither diabetes nor on special diets were analyzed from the population randomly recruited for the Moli-sani study. The European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition (EPIC) food frequency questionnaire was used for dietary assessment. Fasting blood glucose (FBG) levels were measured from fasting serum samples, and diabetes prevalence was determined according to American Diabetes Association diagnostic criteria.ResultsIn men, an increase of one (30-g) portion/week in mushroom consumption was associated with a 0.43–0.55 mmol/L increase in FBG at different levels of adjustment (P < 0.05). In both men and women, dietary selenium was positively associated with blood glucose in both unadjusted and fully adjusted models (P < 0.05 for all). Both mushroom and dietary selenium intakes were independently associated with blood glucose on multivariate analyses. In addition, high intakes of both were associated with higher diabetes prevalence in men and women (OR > 1, P < 0.05).ConclusionThe association of mushroom and selenium intakes with FBG suggests that mushroom and selenium might each independently increase the risk of diabetes. However, prospective studies are now necessary to confirm this hypothesis.  相似文献

Aims: To analyze clustering of unhealthy lifestyle behavior and its relationship with non-adherence to recommended clinical preventive care services among Spanish COPD patients. Methods: Cross-sectional study including 2,575 COPD subjects from the 2006 Spanish National Health Survey (NHS) and 2009 European Health Survey for Spain (EHISS). Subjects were asked about the following recommended preventive practices: uptake of blood pressure (BP) measurement, lipid profile, influenza vaccination and dental examination. Lifestyle behaviors included: smoking status, physical activity, alcohol consumption and obesity. Logistic regression models were built to assess the association between clustering of unhealthy lifestyle and the uptake of preventive activities. Results: Blood pressure measurement in the previous 6 months and a blood lipid test in the last year had not been taken by 11.74% and 23.26% of the subjects, respectively, in 2006 NHS and by 11.16% and 16.33% of the subjects, respectively, in EHISS 2009. Then, 36.36% percent had not been vaccinated and 70.61% had not received dental examination in 2006 NHS and these percentages decreased to 27.33% and 66.22%, respectively, in 2009 EHISS. A higher number of unhealthy lifestyle behaviors increased the probability of not being vaccinated and not having a dental examination. Clustering of unhealthy lifestyle behaviors is linearly associated with a greater number of preventive measures unfulfilled. Conclusions: Compliance with healthy lifestyles and adherence to recommended clinical preventive services is under desirable levels among Spanish COPD patients. Patients with lifestyles considered as “worse” are those who also have lower uptake of recommended preventive activities.  相似文献

ObjectivesTo develop and analyze the reliability and validity of a questionnaire on the knowledge of healthy habits and risk factors for cardiovascular disease (CARDIOKID) to be used in schoolchildren.MethodsThe study included 145 children aged 7 to 11 years. The measured factors were the knowledge of healthy habits and risk factors for cardiovascular disease. Cronbach's alpha and intra-class correlation coefficient (ICC) were used to verify reliability, and exploratory factor analysis was used to assess the validity of the questionnaire.ResultsThe sample consisted of 60% females and 40% males. In factorial analysis, the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) test result was measures of sampling adequacy (MSA) = 0.81 and Bartlett's test of sphericity was X2 = (66) = 458.64 (p < 0.001). In the factorial analysis with varimax rotation, two dimensions were defined. The “healthy habits” dimension was composed of five factors (ICC = 0.87 and α = 0.93) and the “cardiovascular risk factors” dimension was composed of seven factors (ICC = 0.83 and α = 0.91). In the individual factor analysis, Cronbach's alphas were between 0.93 and 0.91. Total variance was 46.87%. There were no significant differences between test and retest applications.ConclusionThe questionnaire presented satisfactory validity and reliability (internal consistency and reproducibility), allowing for its use in children.  相似文献

目的:了解北京某高校医学院在校师生膳食营养知识、态度及行为情况并探究其影响因素,为改善师生营养观念、开展学校营养教育工作提供依据。方法:以北京某高校医学院在职教师,一、二年级硕士研究生,一、二年级博士研究生和一至三年级本科生为研究对象,采用等比例分层整群抽样的方法抽取师生样本,以电子问卷方式进行调查。组间均数比较采用t检验或方差分析,采用多元线性回归分析营养知识、态度及行为(knowledge, attitude and practice,KAP)评分影响因素。结果:北京某高校医学院师生营养知识平均得分为(5.7±1.5)分;营养知识知晓率为57.3%。营养态度平均得分为(8.3±3.0)分;营养行为平均得分为(5.1±2.0)分。总体营养KAP平均得分为(19.1±4.6)分。其中教师得分(19.9±5.2)高于学生得分(18.9±4.5),女性得分(19.5±4.5)高于男性得分(18.4±4.5),差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05);博士研究生的营养态度、营养行为得分及KAP总分均高于本科生及硕士研究生(P<0.01)。结论:北京某高校医学院在校师生营养态度较为端正,营养知识有待进一步加强,在营养行为上尚有一些不合理之处。性别、身份、学位是影响营养知信行得分的主要影响因素。学校应积极开展营养教育宣传,提高师生营养知识,纠正不良饮食习惯,助力健康中国行动建设。  相似文献

Background
Breastfeeding is the reference against which alternative infant feeding models must be measured with regard to growth, development and other health outcomes. Although not a systematic review, this report provides an update for dental professionals, including an overview of general and oral health–related benefits associated with breastfeeding.Types of Studies ReviewedThe authors examined the literature regarding general health protections that breastfeeding confers to infants and mothers and explored associations between breastfeeding, occlusion in the primary dentition and early childhood caries. To accomplish these goals, they reviewed systematic reviews when available and supplemented them with comparative studies and with statements and reports from major nongovernmental and governmental organizations.ResultsWhen compared with health outcomes among formula-fed children, the health advantages associated with breastfeeding include a lower risk of acute otitis media, gastroenteritis and diarrhea, severe lower respiratory infections, asthma, sudden infant death syndrome, obesity and other childhood diseases and conditions. Evidence also suggests that breastfed children may develop a more favorable occlusion in the primary dentition. The results of a systematic review in which researchers examined the relationship between breastfeeding and early childhood caries were inconclusive.Conclusions and Clinical ImplicationsThe American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Chicago, suggests that parents gently clean infants' gums and teeth after breastfeeding. The American Academy of Pediatrics, Elk Grove Village, Ill., recommends that breastfeeding should be exclusive for about the first six months of life and should continue, with the introduction of appropriate complementary foods, to at least age 12 months or beyond, as desired by mother and child. Dentists and staff members can take steps to ensure they are familiar with the evidence and guidelines pertaining to breastfeeding and to oral health. They are encouraged to follow the surgeon general's recommendations to promote and support optimal breastfeeding and oral health practices among their patients.  相似文献

Objectives:

In Fujian Province, China, gastric cancer is one of the leading causes of mortality among all malignant tumors. Nanjing county and Minqing county are located in inland Fujian and have similar general demographics. However, the adjusted mortality rate of gastric cancer in Minqing was found to be much higher than that in Nanjing. We sought to explore factors associated with this increased risk of gastric cancer between the two counties.

Methods:

We recruited 231 and 224 residents from Nanjing and Minqing, respectively, and analyzed differences between their dietary habits, Helicobacter pylori infection rates, and concentrations of serum pepsinogen I, pepsinogen II, gastrin-17, and ratio of pepsinogen I:II.

Results:

Subjects in Minqing had more first-degree relatives who had been diagnosed with upper gastrointestinal tumor, more unhealthy dietary habits, a higher Helicobacter pylori positive rate, and greater proportion of abnormal serum gastrin-17 than those in Nanjing did.

Conclusions:

The factors that differed between these two counties might indicate that residents in Minqing have a higher risk for developing gastric cancer than those in Nanjing do.  相似文献
