长、短型Ⅱ类牵引对Carrière Distalizer作用的有限元分析

目的利用有限元分析法,比较Carrière Distalizer矫治器作用下,长、短型Ⅱ类牵引对上颌组牙应力分布及位移的影响。方法构建Carrière Distalizer矫治器作用模式的三维有限元模型,分别以下颌第一或第二磨牙作Ⅱ类牵引的起点,实施长、短型牵引。本研究设定加载力值为150克,分析上颌尖牙和磨牙应力分布及位移的差异。结果两个位置的牵引效果总体趋势相同。尖牙的旋转移动和倾斜移动趋势强于磨牙,两个牵引起点的作用差异不显著。结论在做Ⅱ类弹性牵引时,无论长牵引还是短牵引,都不会过多的影响牵引效果。     

Dextran sulphate sodium increases splenic Gr1(+)CD11b(+) cells which accelerate recovery from colitis following intravenous transplantation

While Gr1(+)CD11b(+) cells are known to regulate immune responses and accumulate in most cancer tissues, the function of Gr1(+)CD11b(+) cells in inflammation is poorly understood. We investigated the role of Gr1(+)CD11b(+) cells in a dextran sulphate sodium (DSS)-treated mouse model of ulcerative colitis (UC). C57BL/6 mice were treated with 2% DSS in drinking water for 5 days. Disease progression and recovery were assessed by body weight, disease activity index score (DAI) score and colon length. Splenic Gr1(+)CD11b(+) cell number was greatly increased during the recovery phase of DSS-induced colitis. DSS-derived splenic Gr1(+)CD11b(+) cells were administered intravenously to recipient (C57BL/6) mice during the early phase of DSS treatment. The transplanted splenic DSS-induced Gr1(+)CD11b(+) cells improved DSS-induced colitis and promoted efficient colonic mucosal healing. We found that the CD11b(+) single positive cells increased in the course of DSS-induced colitis in lamina propria. The transplantation of splenic Gr1(+)CD11b(+) cells induced feedback suppression of myeloid-lineage cell development. Namely, the transplantation of splenic Gr1(+)CD11b(+) cells greatly suppressed the migration of CD11b(+) single positive cells to the lamina propria. Further, transplantation of Gr-1(+)CD11b(+) cells greatly suppressed the increase of the same population, especially during the late phase of DSS colitis both in spleen and bone marrow.     

Papillon-Lefèvre综合征1例

患者男,12岁。双手、双足、双肘和双膝部皮肤弥漫性角化10年。皮肤科情况:双手、双足、双肘和双膝部皮肤红斑角化,伴有鳞屑。自幼牙龈红肿化脓,恒牙萌出时牙周组织出现破坏,牙龈红肿,牙排列不齐。左手背部皮损组织病理示:表皮银屑病样增生,真皮浅层水肿,少许慢性炎细胞浸润。诊断:Papil-lon-Lefèvre综合征。     

早期梅尼埃病患者前庭诱发肌源性电位的特征

目的 建立听力室前庭诱发肌源性电位（VEMPs）潜伏期、耳间潜伏期差值、振幅比及耳间不对称率等参数的正常值,分析早期梅尼埃病患者的VEMPs特征。方法 随机选取听力正常的健康成人39例,用于建立VEMPs正常值范围并用作健康对照;对单侧发病的早期梅尼埃病患者37例,行双侧VEMPs检测,分析其VEMPs特征。结果 37例单侧发病的早期梅尼埃病患者中,患侧未能引出者11例,双侧未能引出者4例,另外15例患侧VEMPs的异常表现可为p13或n23潜伏期延长、耳间潜伏期差值延长、振幅增强或减弱等,总异常率为81.08%。结论 当VEMPs的耳间潜伏期差值表现为延长、振幅表现为增强或减弱时,对早期梅尼埃病的诊断有显著意义。     

Er,Cr:YSGG激光照射牙周病牙根面的组织学研究和电镜观察

目的：通过观察Er，Cr：YSGG激光照射牙周病牙根面的组织形态学变化，探讨此激光用于牙周治疗的可行性和有效性。方法：收集中、老年人离体牙周病牙24个，手工刮治根面平整后随机平均分2组，即激光照射和患牙对照组；收集12个健康智齿作为健康对照。经处理后，3组样本分别置光镜和SEM（扫描电子显微镜）下观察。结果：第1组根面出现凹坑，其深度在牙骨质内未及牙本质；第2组根面较平坦、光镜下可见刮痕，SEM下可见玷污层，均无牙本质暴露；第3组根面洁净，光镜下见根面平坦、光滑，SEM下可见正常牙骨质凸。结论：Er，Cr：YSGG激光照射平整后的牙周病牙根面可有效去除玷污层及表层病变牙骨质，预期有利于牙周细胞再附着。此激光对于牙周病的治疗有潜在的应用价值。     

Manual Lymphatic Drainage for Upper Limb Lymphedema: A Clinician’s Perspective for its Adaptation<br/>Adapter le Drainage Lymphatique Manuel pour le Lymphœdème du Membre Supérieur: Point de vue de Cliniciens

Upper limb lympedema is a frequent consequence of breast cancer treatment. The International Society of Lymphology recommends physical therapy for lymphedema management. This treatment includes a combination of manual lymphatic drainage and high-compression bandaging. Actually, the effectiveness of manual lymphatic drainage remains an area of controversy, especially because of the many different techniques called “manual lymphatic drainage” since 1930. The purpose of this review was to emphasise the efficacy of these different techniques according to physiological data and evidence-based practice. To improve the manual lymphatic drainage efficiency, the pressure, sometimes important, should be tailored to each edema and the techniques had to consider altered lymphatic drainage patterns. The methods used by physical therapist in the studies should be specified for higher lightness.

Résumé
Le lymphœdème du membre supérieur est une séquelle du traitement des cancers du sein. Le traitement physique des lymphœdèmes est recommandé par la Société internationale de lymphologie. Il associe drainage lymphatique manuel et bandages de décongestion. Le drainage lymphatique manuel a fait l’objet de critiques quant à son effi- cacité. Or depuis son invention dans les années 1930, de très nombreuses techniques s’intitulent « drainage lymphatique manuel ». Les auteurs distinguent l’efficacité de ces différentes techniques en fonction des données de la physiologie lymphatique et de la démonstration de ses effets basée sur les faits. Pour améliorer son efficacité, le drainage lymphatique manuel doit être appliqué sur l’œdème avec une pression adaptée à la consistance de l’œdème, parfois élevée. Les manœuvres doivent prendre en considération les trajets remaniés des collecteurs lymphatiques. Les études qui l’utilisent doivent décrire la technique utilisée.

Epigenetic regulation of olfactory receptor gene expression by the Myb–MuvB/dREAM complex

In both mammals and insects, an olfactory neuron will usually select a single olfactory receptor and repress remaining members of large receptor families. Here we show that a conserved multiprotein complex, Myb–MuvB (MMB)/dREAM, plays an important role in mediating neuron-specific expression of the carbon dioxide (CO₂) receptor genes (Gr63a/Gr21a) in Drosophila. Activity of Myb in the complex is required for expression of Gr63a/Gr21a and acts in opposition to the histone methyltransferase Su(var)3-9. Consistent with this, we observed repressive dimethylated H3K9 modifications at the receptor gene loci, suggesting a mechanism for silencing receptor gene expression. Conversely, other complex members, Mip120 (Myb-interacting protein 120) and E2F2, are required for repression of Gr63a in inappropriate neurons. Misexpression in mutants is accompanied by an increase in the H3K4me3 mark of active chromatin at the receptor gene locus. Nuclei of CO₂ receptor-expressing neurons contain reduced levels of the repressive subunit Mip120 compared with surrounding neurons and increased levels of Myb, suggesting that activity of the complex can be regulated in a cell-specific manner. Our evidence suggests a model in which olfactory receptors are regulated epigenetically and the MMB/dREAM complex plays a critical role in specifying, maintaining, and modulating the receptor-to-neuron map.     

Multi Ceramic Particles Inclusion in the Aluminium Matrix and Wear Characterization through Experimental and Response Surface-Artificial Neural Networks

Lightweight composite materials have recently been recognized as appropriate materials have been adopted in many industrial applications because of their versatility. The present research recognizes the inclusion of ceramics such as Gr and B₄C in manufacturing AMMCs through stir casting. Prepared composites were tested for hardness and wear behaviour. The tests’ findings revealed that the reinforced matrix was harder (60%) than the un-reinforced alloy because of the increased ceramic phase. The rising content of B₄C and Gr particles led to continuous improvements in wear resistance. The microstructure and worn surface were observed through SEM (Scanning electron microscope) and revealed the formation of mechanically mixed layers of both B₄C and Gr, which served as the effective insulation surface and protected the test sample surface from the steel disc. With the rise in the content of B₄C and Gr, the weight loss declined, and significant wear resistance was achieved at 15 wt.% B₄C and 10 wt.% Gr. A response surface analysis for the weight loss was carried out to obtain the optimal objective function. Artificial neural network methodology was adopted to identify the significance of the experimental results and the importance of the wear parameters. The error between the experimental and ANN results was found to be within 1%.
