Nursing and motherhood constructions: implications for practice

The present paper addresses the relationship between community based child health nursing services and social constructions of motherhood within Australia during the 1920s. Following the First World War, child health nursing services (then generally known as infant welfare or child welfare services) were established in all Australian states. The focus of the paper is mainly upon the development of the Tasmanian child health service, with some reference to similar services in other states. Within two decades of their establishment, most child-bearing women in Tasmania were in contact with child health services and this apparent success meant that, thereafter, women in Tasmania cared for their children under the 'expert' guidance of nurses. As the 1920s progressed, child health nurses increasingly promoted one particular, and ultimately extremely influential, construction of motherhood, 'scientific motherhood', based upon the philosophy of Dr Truby King. I argue that an understanding of how nursing services have historically reinforced and promoted ideological constructions of motherhood enhances the practice of present day nurses working with women. This argument is supported by reference to present day nursing practice in relation to postnatal depression.     

再次泪囊鼻腔吻合术的临床分析

本文报告了１０例慢性泪囊炎患者，行泪囊鼻腔吻合术后，发生吻合口阻塞，再次行泪囊鼻腔吻合术，手术治愈率１００％。并就其阻塞的原因、防止方法、治疗方法进行了讨论     

一次手术法对自制两段式种植体种植效果的实验研究

本实验用自制纯钛两段式种植体,以一次手术法植入到狗的下颌前磨牙区,观察5个月,结果表明,观察期间内牙龈无炎症,种植体稳固,X线片显示种植体周围无透射区,镜下可见种植体表面与牙龈之间形成上皮附着样结构,与骨组织之间大多呈骨性愈合。提示了两段式种植体有两种设计和手术方式可供选择。骨内部分在开放的环境中也可达到骨性愈合。     

谷氨酸诱导体外培养的鸡胚脊髓神经细胞释放NO

用鸡胚脊髓神经细胞的原代培养,测定细胞中亚硝酸盐的含量,研究了谷氨酸(Glu)对原代培养神经细胞中NO的影响。结果表明,谷氨酸作用于原代培养的鸡胚脊髓神经细胞,在诱导神经细胞释放乳酸脱氢酶(LDH)的同时,还可诱导细胞释放一氧化氮(NO)。如先用NO合成酶抑制剂L-NOARG作用细胞,再加入Glu,则发现L-NOARG能降低Glu导致的培养液中LDH活性升高。提示NO可能参与介导Glu的神经毒性作用。     

硒和/或维生素E预防大鼠内皮细胞损伤的实验研究

用含硒（Ｓｅ０．５ｍｇ／ｋｇ）和／或维生素Ｅ（ＶＥ０．６ｇ／ｋｇ）的高脂饲料喂养成年雄性Ｗｉｓｔａｒ大鼠１２周。结果：高脂对照组大鼠血浆前列腺素Ｆｌα（６－酮－ＰＧＦ１α）水平下降，而血清脂质过氧化物（ＬＰＯ）、血浆血栓素（ＴＸＢ２）及内皮素（ＥＴ）水平上升；补Ｓｅ、ＶＥ及Ｓｅ＋ＶＥ可明显降低大鼠血清ＬＰＯ、血浆ＴＸＢ２、ＥＴ及ＴＸＢ２／６－酮－ＰＧＦ１α比值。同时，除了明显提高血浆谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶（ＧＳＨ－Ｐｘ）活力外，血浆６－酮－ＰＧＦ１α浓度明显升高。实验提示，Ｓｅ和／或ＶＥ有调节花生四烯酸代谢及保护内皮细胞的作用。     

Nordic contributions to disability policies

The most spectacular contribution from the nordic countries to intellectual disability policy is probably the idea of normalization, but it is not the simplistic notion that can be inferred from international debate. Its major significance may have been to act as an inspiring catchword for the important trend away from institutions Into integrated living. However, it is more fully understood when seen in the concrete context where It has successively developed, and been critically analysed and tested in operation. Scandinavian sociologists and psychologists—as well as politicians—were also among the first to use the concept of quality of life for analysis of social policy, including intellectual disability. The primary medium for implementation has been legislation, where the dominant difficulty is to find a balance between security and freedom, protection and self-determination. Through this process, the role of social engineering in the welfare state, based on humanistic ideas of solidarity, can be followed into today's emphasis on individual influence and participation.     

从自由基生物学角度评价鸡肉质量的实验研究

本文把外观健康和非健康的活鸡各20只分成两组,宰后测其肝、腿肌中超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)含量和脂质过氧化产物丙二醛(MDA)水平,发现两组中上述指标值差异显著(P<0.050 ;同时对两组实验鸡胴体在宰后4小时做了感官鉴别,也判断出其品质存在差异。提示体内SOD活性和MDA水平可以反映鸡肉质量,比感官鉴别更具敏感性,同时也可以反映宰前鸡的健康状况。
