Objective To assess the value of detecting sympathetic skin response (SSR) in the diagnosis of autonomic dysfunction in patients with Parkinson disease (PD). Methods SSR measurement was performed in 47 PD patients and 20 healthy control subjects and the results were compared. The SSR was also comparatively analyzed between patients with and those without autonomic dysfimction. Results Compared with the healthy controls, the PD patients showed significantly lowered mean amplitude (2.56±1.47 vs 1.87±0.26, P<0.05) and prolonged latency (1.42±0.29 vs 1.55± 0.18, P<0.05) of the SSR in the upper limbs, with also lowered mean amplitude (0.76±0.39 vs 0.49±0.21, P<0.05) and prolonged latency (2.04±0.27 vs 2.13±0.16, P<0.05) in the lower limbs. Compared with the PD patients without autonomic dysfunction, those having autonomic dysfunction showed significantly lowered mean amplitude (1.89±0.33 vs 1.75±0.21, P<0.05) and prolonged latency (1.53±0.15 vs 1.56±0.17, P<0.05) of SSR in the upper limbs and lowered mean amplitude (0.51±0.17 vs 0.46±0.20,P<0.05) and prolonged latency (2.08±0.24 vs 2.17±0.18, P<0.05) in the lower limbs. Conclusion The results of SSR measurements are consistent with the clinical manifestations of the PD patients. SSR can be of value in the diagnosis of autonomic nerve dysfunction in PD.  相似文献

Monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) against lactoseries carbohydrates were used to study immunohistochemically the olfactory and vomeronasal receptor cells and their axons in the rabbit. MAb 2C5, which recognizes Gal alpha 1----3Gal beta 1----4G1cNAc----R structure, selectively labeled a subset of olfactory receptor cells and the majority of vomeronasal receptor cells. MAb 4C9, which reacts with fucosyl poly-N-acetyllactosamine, identified a subset of vomeronasal receptor cells. The above two MAbs also labeled the axons of these chemosensory receptor cells and thus revealed their axonal projection sites in the main and accessory olfactory bulbs.  相似文献

Olfactory stimulation evokes a column of activity within the olfactory bulb extending from the glomerular layer to the granule cell layer that can be visualized with 2-deoxyglucose autoradiography, optical imaging, Fos protein immunohistochemistry and c-fos mRNA in situ hybridization. The Fos response to odors is typified by the activity of relatively few juxtaglomerular cells, which often occur in foci, and a large number of granule cells extending through much of the bulb. In this study, we characterized the granule cell response to an odor for which young rats had acquired a preference. Fos-like immunoreactive granule cells were quantified by image analysis, and densely stained cells were counted in a region previously shown to be responsive to peppermint odor. We found that odor-trained pups have about half the number of Fos-immunopositive superficial granule cells which respond to a learned odor than do control pups. We then determined whether there was a correlation between the juxtaglomerular cell response and the response of the superficial granule cells deep to those glomerular layer cells. We found a positive correlation between the number of juxtaglomerular cells and the number of granule cells demonstrating Fos immunoreactivity in both control and trained pups, a relationship that changed with early olfactory training.  相似文献

Abstract: In an experimental dog model of acute biventricular failure, the effects of left ventricular (LV) assist on renal hemodynamics and function were evaluated. After the induction of severe cardiac failure by multiple ligation of the coronary arteries, LV assist with a 40 ml pneumatic pulsatile pump was initiated, and the aortic flow was maintained at control values. The right atrial pressure (RAP) rose to 21.3 mm Hg with the appearance of profound right ventricular (RV) failure. Renal arterial blood flow (RAF) decreased to about 60% of the control value after 2 h of LV assist. The urine volume decreased and renal function deteriorated progressively. RV assist decreased the RAP to 4.8 mm Hg, and the reduced RAF recovered. After 3 h of RV assist, the RAF returned to initial values and the urine volume increased, but renal function did not recover. Advanced biventricular failure with elevated RAP during LV assist reduced renal perfusion and impaired renal function and may be an indication for early RV assist  相似文献

Summary The plasma and urine concentrations of famotidine, a new, potent H2-receptor antagonist, have been measured in 16 healthy young adults, 8 healthy elderly people and 18 patients with varying degrees of renal dysfunction after intravenous administration.Both the plasma elimination and renal excretion of famotidine were decreased in the elderly volunteers and renal patients. The renal clearance of famotidine averaged 4.43 ml/min/kg (310 ml/min) in normal young volunteers, which exceeded the mean creatinine clearance 1.55 ml/min/kg (109 ml/min), suggesting net secretion is a significant mechanism for elimination of famotidine.The ratio of famotidine renal clearance to creatinine clearance decreased as creatinine clearance decreased; these results suggest that the deterioration in the secretion process was much faster than that in glomerular filtration and are incompatible with the intact nephron hypothesis. Nevertheless, both total body clearance and renal clearance were significantly correlated with creatinine clearance.The apparent half-life was also significantly correlated with creatinine clearance. Since famotidine is essentially free of dose-related adverse effects, dose adjustment in patients with mild renal insufficiency and in elderly people is not required; however, either a prolonged dosing interval or a decrease in daily dose during long-term therapy may be adapted for the patients with severe renal insufficiency to avoid accumulation and the potential undesirable effects.  相似文献

Lymphocyte beta adrenergic receptor binding using [125I]CNP was determined in patients with panic disorder (N=4) or agoraphobia with panic attacks (N=17) and age- and sex-matched healthy subjects (N=22). The patients showed a significantly lower number of -adrenergic receptor binding sites and a significantly higher affinity of binding than healthy subjects. A past or present history of major depression in the patients did not alter these findings. These results are consistent with a growing body of knowledge implicating noradrenergic dysfunction in the pathophysiology of panic anxiety.  相似文献

脑卒中后认知障碍(PSCI)是脑卒中患者常见的并发症,严重影响患者的生活质量。目前,PSCI在临床治疗中尚未发现有效的针对性治疗措施。大量研究证实核苷酸结合寡聚化结构域样受体蛋白3(NLRP3)炎症小体的活化在PSCI中起关键作用,且对其进行的许多抑制性治疗显示出了改善认知障碍的功效。为此,本文总结了NLRP3炎症小体的活化和影响因素及其与PSCI的关系,发现在PSCI的细胞和动物模型中,针对NLRP3或其炎症小体成分的抑制措施可以减轻炎性反应和相应的病理特征,从而促进其认知功能的恢复,因此,靶向NLRP3炎症小体可能是PSCI治疗的新趋势。然而到目前为止,尽管许多药物和治疗措施已成功鉴定出能够抑制NLRP3炎症小体的活化,但其在临床中的治疗效果和安全性仍有待进一步验证。  相似文献

背景 上肢运动功能障碍是脑卒中后常见的后遗症之一,严重影响患者日常生活能力。重复经颅磁刺激(rTMS)作为常见的神经电生理技术对治疗脑卒中后上肢运动功能障碍有较好的疗效,但临床对不同rTMS干预模式的选择仍缺乏循证依据。目的 采用网状Meta分析方法比较rTMS的4种模式对脑卒中后上肢运动功能障碍患者的临床疗效。方法 计算机检索PubMed、Embase、Cochrane Library、Web of Science、中国生物医学文献数据库、中国知网、万方数据知识服务平台、维普网中有关rTMS治疗脑卒中后上肢运动功能障碍的随机对照试验,并通过追溯Meta分析的参考文献作为补充。检索时间均为建库至2022年2月,采用主题词和自由词结合方式进行。2名研究者进行文献筛选、资料提取及质量评价。采用RevMan 5.0软件和Stata 16.0软件进行统计学分析。结果 最终纳入17篇文献,790例患者,共涉及6种干预措施:高频rTMS(HF-rTMS)、低频rTMS(LF-rTMS)、间断性theta节律刺激(iTBS)、连续性theta节律刺激(cTBS)、假刺激、常规疗法。网状Meta分析结...  相似文献

Side-effects of a veno-venous extracorporeal system and possible beneficial effects of prostacyclin (epoprostenol) are analyzed on the cat. Three groups were studied; one control group without extracorporeal circulation and two groups with an extracorporeal flow of 10–12 ml/kg/min, one of which was given prostacyclin (70–110 ng/kg/min). The extracorporeal circulation triggered a decrease in arterial saturation (from 99 to 91 %) and carbon dioxide elimination (increase in arterial to end-tidal PCO2 by about 1 kpa) a metabolic acidosis (pH7.20), a platelet consumption (50%) and shortened survival time, side-effects reduced by prostacyclin. Further, there was a marked increase in haemoglobin concentration indicating hypovolemia via capillary fluid filtration. None of these side-effects were seen in the control group. Extracorporeal circulation as a trigger for pulmonary dysfunction and for impaired tissue nutrition with possible beneficial effects of prostacyclin is discussed, and also from a clinical point of view (i.e. extracorporeal lung assistance, ECLA), on the basis of the results.  相似文献

2,4,5-trimethylthiazoline (TMT) is a volatile component of the anal gland secretion of the red fox and elicits behavioral and physiological fear responses in the rat. Using instrumental conditioning paradigms, we determined olfactory detection thresholds for TMT in three rats, a natural prey species of the red fox, and compared their performance to that of three squirrel monkeys, three spider monkeys and four pigtail macaques, all non-prey species of the red fox. We found that the rats were able to discriminate concentrations between 0.04 and 0.10 ppt (parts per trillion) of TMT from the odorless solvent which is by far the lowest olfactory detection threshold for an odorant reported in rats so far. In contrast, the spider monkeys needed 0.14-1.38 ppb (parts per billion), the pigtail macaques 0.41-4.07 ppb, and the squirrel monkeys 4.07-13.80 ppb to detect TMT which does not rank among the lowest olfactory thresholds reported for these three primate species. Thus, these results support the assumption that the behavioral relevance of an odorant may be an important determinant of a species' olfactory sensitivity.  相似文献
