IntroductionDental implants are a usual treatment for the loss of teeth. The success of this therapy is due to the predictability, safety and longevity of the bone–implant interface. Dental implant surface characteristics like roughness, chemical constitution, and mechanical factors can contribute to the early osseointegration. The aim of the present article is to perform a review of the literature on surface roughness of dental implant and osseointegration.MethodologyThis work is a narrative review of some aspects of surface roughness of dental implant and osseointegration.ConclusionDespite technological advancement in the biomaterials field, the ideal surface roughness for osseointegration still remains unclear. In this study about surface nanoroughness of dental implant and osseointegration, the clinical relevance is yet unknown. Innovative findings on nanoroughness are valuable in the fields of dental implantology, maxillofacial or orthopedic implant surfaces and also on cardiovascular implants in permanent contact with patient’s blood.  相似文献

目的 评价种植体支持的角度螺丝一体冠不同全瓷材料修复单冠在随访1年后的临床效果。方法 纳入13例上颌或下颌磨牙区双侧对称缺失的患者,每例患者接受两侧种植治疗。同一患者使用相同尺寸的2颗种植体。3~6个月后采用角度螺丝通道一体全瓷冠修复,每例患者的修复体分为全锆组和传统组。戴牙后即刻和12个月后进行X线检查,记录患者对修复体使用1年后的美学、功能评分及并发症。采用SAS 9.4软件对数据进行统计学分析。结果 13例患者修复后12个月的种植体成功率为100%。美学评价与功能评价在全锆组和传统组无显著差异(P>0.05)。全锆组边缘骨吸收为(-0.117±0.157)mm,传统组边缘骨吸收为(-0.141±0.153)mm,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论 在本研究范围内,磨牙区使用2种全瓷修复方式的螺丝通道一体冠临床效果良好,全锆冠与传统全瓷冠修复效果无显著差异。  相似文献

PURPOSEThis study aimed to evaluate the effect of repeated use of an implant handpiece under an implant placement torque (35 Ncm) and overloading torque condition (50 Ncm) on an output torque.MATERIALS AND METHODSTwo types of implant handpiece systems (Surgicpro/X-DSG20L [NSK, Kanuma, Japan] and SIP20/CRB46LN [SAESHIN, Daegu, South Korea]) were used. The output torque was measured using a digital torque gauge. The height and angle (x, y, and z axes) of the digital torque gauge and implant handpiece were adjusted through a jig for passive connection. The experiment was conducted under the setting torque value of 35 Ncm (implant placement torque) and 50 Ncm (overloading torque condition) and 30 times per set; a total of 5 sets were performed (N = 150). For statistical analysis, the difference between the groups was analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test and the Friedman test was used to confirm the change in output torque (α=.05).RESULTSNSK and SAESHIN implant handpieces showed significant differences in output torque results at the setting torques of 35 Ncm and 50 Ncm (P<.001). The type of implant handpiece and repeated use influenced the output torque (P<.001).CONCLUSIONThere may be a difference between the setting torque and actual output torque due to repeated use, and the implant handpiece should be managed and repaired during long-term use. In addition, for successful implant results in dental clinics, the output torque of the implant handpiece system should be checked before implant placement.  相似文献

This state-of-the-art review presents the latest evidence and the current status of autogenous soft tissue grafting for soft tissue augmentation and recession coverage at teeth and dental implant sites. The indications and predictability of the free gingival graft and connective tissue graft (CTG) techniques are highlighted, together with their expected clinical and esthetic outcomes. CTGs can be harvested from the maxillary tuberosity or from palate with different approaches that can have an impact on graft quality and patient morbidity. The influence of CTGs on soft tissue thickness and keratinized tissue width are also discussed.  相似文献

An increasing number of patients with medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaws (MRONJ) has recently been reported. It is still being debated whether the presence or placement of dental implants can lead to MRONJ, so the aim of this study was to find out whether dental implants are a risk factor for MRONJ. From January 2003-January 2019 180 patients with MRONJ were seen at the Leiden University Medical Center. Luxating moments for the onset of MRONJ were calculated retrospectively. We collected clinical data and details of antiresorptive medication and found 22 patients with both dental implants and MRONJ. In 18 patients the implants were in the region of the MRONJ and they were included in this study, 14 who had had implants before using antiresorptive drugs and four who had had antiresorptive drugs before or at the time that the implants were placed. The median times between the placement of implants and the diagnosis of MRONJ in these two groups were 24 months and 6 months, respectively. Among the 47 implants, 30 were located in the necrotic region, and all 30 were either lost spontaneously or had to be removed during treatment of MRONJ. Our results show an increased risk for developing MRONJ in patients with dental implants. Both peri-implantitis around previously placed implants, and insertion of dental implants, are risk factors. Prevention of peri-implantitis and caution when inserting dental implants in patients who take antiresorptive medication are therefore important.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to analyse the influence of different loading protocols on marginal bone loss (MBL). The outcomes of different implant loading protocols were assessed at 1 year after implantation, with focus on MBL; protocols included immediate, immediate non-occlusal, early, and conventional loading. The search strategy resulted in 889 studies. Twenty-two of these studies fulfilled the inclusion criteria. Among the included studies, the lowest MBL was for immediately loaded implants (0.05 ± 0.67 mm) and the highest for immediate non-occlusally loaded implants (1.37 ± 0.5 mm). The results of the meta-analysis showed an estimated mean MBL of 0.457 mm (95% confidence interval (CI) 0.133–0.781) for immediate loading, 0.390 mm (95% CI 0.240–0.540) for immediate non-occlusal loading, 0.488 mm (95% CI 0.289–0.687) for early loading (>2 days to <3 months), and 0.852 mm (95% CI 0.429–1.275) for conventional loading (>3 months) implant protocols. The lowest decrease in 1-year implant survival per millimetre increase in MBL was observed for immediate loading and the highest for conventional loading. Conventional loading showed a significantly higher MBL than the other three loading protocols. This systematic review and meta-analysis indicates that the immediate loading protocol is a reasonable alternative to the conventional loading protocol.  相似文献
