通过半年对35名7~12岁轻度碘缺乏病儿童进行补碘,并与同龄、同地的正常儿童和缺碘未补碘儿童进行比较,以观察补碘对儿童脑功能及生长发育的影响。结果发现:①补碘可使儿童碘营养状况恢复正常,尿碘值由(83.2±3.5)μg/L上升到(162.2±1.6)μg/L,血清T4、FT4I和rT3:也与正常儿童一致而与未补碘儿童有显著性差异(P<0.05).②轻度碘缺乏病儿童智商低于正常儿童(P<0.01),补碘在一定程度上改善其智商水平。③轻度碘缺乏病及补碘未能明显影响儿童的生长发育,可能与儿童总营养水平较差有关。 相似文献

A computer-assisted method for the registration of food intakes in real time according to a concise and simple procedure was subjected to a series of controls in order to assess precision. The method employs the 'portion' of a composite dish as unit of measure. The constancy of the portion was tested. The results show that the recipes of the diet of a subject may be stored and utilized in deferred time without loss of precision: data to be recorded in real time are then very limited. The length of period of analysis was also studied. The time of investigation should not be shorter than two weeks to obtain precise information on the feeding habits of an individual subject, whereas for a group of subjects the diary of a single day provides information of sufficient precision. 相似文献

The peak endocardial acceleration (PEA, unit g) shows a near correlation with myocardial contractility during the isometric systolic contraction of the heart (dP/dtmax), with sympathetic activity and, thus, with physiological heart rate modulation. The (Biomechanical Endocardial Sorin Transducer (BEST) sensor is incorporated in the tip of a pacing lead and measures PEA directly near the myocardium. In an international study, the lead was implanted with the dual chamber pacemaker Living-1 (Sorin) in 105 patients. The behavior of the PEA signal was tested under conditions of physical and mental stress and during daily life activities by 24-hour recordings of PEA (PEA Holter) at 1 to 2 months and approximately 1 year after implantation. Implantation of the BEST lead was performed without complications in all patients. The sensor functioned properly in the short- and long-term in 98% of patients. Although PEA values differed from patient to patient, the values closely reflected the variations in sympathetic activity due to physical and mental stress in each patient. During exercise and during daily life activities a close correlation between PEA and heart rate was observed among patients with normal sinus rhythm. The disector, an unbiased stereological method for evaluation of synaptic densities, was used to analyse putative GABA and glutamate innervations of the supraoptic nucleus of virgin and lactating rats. The analysis was performed on ultrathin sections labelled for either of the amino acids with a postembedding immunogold technique. Our observations showed that the volume of the nucleus increased by 40% in lactating animals, an increase due to a significant enlargment of dendritic and somatic, but not vascular, volumes. Nevertheless, values of overall synaptic densities in the whole nucleus remained as high as those in virgin rats (37–40×106 synapses/mm3). About 45% of all synapses were immunoreactive for GABA and 25% for glutamate; there were twice as many GABA- and glutamate-positive synapses on dendrites as on somata. When we estimated synaptic densities in relation to the neuropil (by subtracting the proportion of sampled areas occupied by somatic profiles), we found a significant increase in synaptic density in lactating animals. This affected axodendritic as well as axosomatic synapses, immunopositive and immunonegative for GABA or glutamate. The disector also allowed us to determine that the number of synapses from terminals making contacts on several somata and/or dendrites simultaneously constituted about 9% of all synapses in virgin rats, a proportion which more than doubled in lactating rats. About 50% were immunopositive for GABA and 30% for glutamate.
Our data offer further evidence of physiologically-linked structural synaptic plasticity in the supraoptic nucleus and clearly demonstrate that it affects both inhibitory and excitatory inputs on dendrites, as well as on somata, throughout the nucleus. 相似文献

Automatic analysis of electromyography (EMG) signals, first operated in 1950 with analogic machines, steeply expanded from 1980 when fast computers and worthwhile programs became available. On-line measurement of response area and latency, averaging of low amplitude waves, fast sorting of motor unit potential shape parameters, computation of the “jitter” between two muscle fibers, turns/amplitude and spectral analysis of interferential pattern records, are some examples of programs currently offered in modern EMG machines. Other techniques are still reserved for research purposes: scanning EMG, decomposition of nerve and muscle compound potentials, measurement of the threshold and firing rate of motor units, trace analysis using tracking models. Sources of P300 attenuation after head injury: Single-trial amplitude, latency jitter, and EEG power
Single trial amplitude, latency jitter, and electroencephalographic (EEG) power were examined as sources of the group difference in averaged P300 amplitude among 15 traumatically brain injured and 20 control individuals in an auditory oddball paradigm. Mean amplitude of the individual trials was highly correlated with the amplitude of the averaged P300, with little additional unique variance attributable to latency jitter or EEG power. The group difference in P300 amplitude was also explained by the mean amplitude of the single trials. These results support the robustness of the event-related potential averaging technique within the paradigm used. 相似文献

Summary Allotransplantation of solid organs transfers passenger leucocytes which may give rise to a state of persistent microchimaerism. In this report we describe the case of a patient who developed a solitary plasmacytoma in a transplanted kidney more than 10 years after allografting. The diagnosis was established on the basis of the presence of a monoclonal IgG kappa peak in the serum, and light chain proteinuria, the plasmacytoid features of tumour cells including cell surface expression of IgG, kappa light chains, CD20, CD38 and CD56, the absence of lytic bone lesions and a normal bone marrow biopsy, and the disappearance of the monoclonal IgG peak after graft nephrectomy. A donor origin of the tumour was established by HLA DNA typing of tumour, tumour-free kidney tissue, and peripheral blood leucocytes, respectively. 相似文献
