对AgNOR用于宫内膜病变诊断的评价

目的寻找一种有助于对宫内膜不同性质病变进行诊断和鉴别诊断的客观指标。方法用核仁组成区银染法显示核仁组成区嗜银蛋白（ＡｇＮＯＲ），对增生期宫内膜、内膜增生过长，内膜癌等３组（６０例）不同性质病变进行观察对照并记数。结果３组间差别明显。内膜癌组细胞ＡｇＮＯＲ颗粒均数２７．０９，增生过长组ＡｇＮＯＲ颗粒均值１６．６２，增生期宫内膜ＡｇＮＯＲ颗粒均值１０．２４，各组间Ｐ〈０．０１，具有统计学意义。组间Ａｇ     

Primary lung adenocarcinoma with heterotopic bone formation

A 46-year-old man was referred to our hospital for the treatment of lung cancer. Computed tomography showed a well-defined tumor mass that was 50×45 mm in size and contained a trabecular pattern of calcification. Since he was diagnosed as having a primary lung adenocarcinoma (clinical stage IB), a left upper lobectomy with mediastinal lymph node dissection was performed. Histologically, the tumor was a poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma with rich fibrous stroma, in which there were island-shaped bone formation lesions. An immunohistochemical examination showed the expression of bone morphogenic protein-2 within tumor cells, which induce and stimulate bone formation. This finding may elucidate a possible mechanism of heterotopic bone formation.     

Metastatic chest wall tumor suspected to be of lung origin by immunoreactivity for cytokeratin 7 and 20

We report a rare case of unknown primary carcinoma. A 36-year-old man was admitted to the hospital because of a chest wall tumor. Serum carcinoembryonic antigen level was 160 ng/ml. The resected chest wall tumor was pathologically diagnosed as metastatic adenocarcinoma, showing positive immunoreactivity for cytokeratin 7 and negative immunoreactivity for cytokeratin 20, suggesting lung origin. Serum carcinoembryonic antigen level returned to normal limits. Twenty-one months later, a chest X-ray showed a nodular lesion in the left upper lobe and serum carcinoembryonic antigen level increased to 12.3 ng/ml. Left upper lobectomy was performed 23 months after chest wall resection. The resected tumor was pathologically diagnosed as primary lung adenocarcinoma, showed the same immunoreactivity as in the chest wall tumor. The combination of immunohistochemistry for cytokeratin 7 and 20 appeared to be a useful tool in determining the site of origin and helpful for premortem diagnosis of the origin of unknown primary carcinoma.     

子宫颈腺癌与子宫内膜腺癌─—组织化学及免疫组织化学染色特性研究

对２０例原发性子宫颈腺癌和２０例子宫内膜腺癌的粘液组织化学染色结果为，前者ＡＢ染色阳性病例为１８／２０、ＰＡＳ１８／２０、ＴＢ（ＴｏＬｕｉｄｉｎＢｌｕｅ甲苯胺蓝）１７／２０；后者相应的阳性病例分别为ＡＢ／１３／２０、ＰＡＳ１４／２０、ＴＢ９／２０。免疫组织化学检测，ＣＥＡ在子宫颈腺癌１４／２０的病例，子宫内膜腺癌１１／２０的病例中呈阳性反应。Ｖｉｍｅｎｔｉｎ在子宫颈腺癌和子宫内膜腺癌中阳性分布分别为０／２０、１１／２０，提示Ｖｉｍｅｎｔｉｎ在这两者鉴别上有一定参考价值。     

NO EFFECT OF KININS ON DNA SYNTHESIS IN LNCaP PROSTATE CANCER CELLS

1. Prostate has kininogenase activity and expresses members of the tissue kallikrein gene family. The present study examined the effect of exogenous and endogenous kinins on growth of LNCaP prostate adenocarcinoma cells. 2. Rate of DNA synthesis was measured by incorporation over 4 h of [³H]-thymidine into a TCA insoluble fraction of LNCaP cells that had been cultured for 24 h. 3. Increased [³H]-thymidine incorporation was seen in response to 10 nmol/L testosterone (4– 103 ± 5 s.e.%), dihydrotestosterone (+ 113 ± 14%) and R 1881 (+64 ± 10%) (P± 0.001; n = 4). 4. In contrast 0.05, 5 and 1000 nmol/L lysyl-bradykinin had no effect (15 ± 4, 10 ± 9 and 5 ± 3 s.e.%, respectively; n = 7). Des-Arg⁹[Leu⁸]-bradykinin (a B₁ receptor antagonist) and/or d-Arg-[Hyp³,Thi^5,8,d-Phe⁷]-bradykinin (a B₂ receptor antagonist), 1 nmol/L, and indomethacin, 5 μmol/L, also had little or no effect. 5. In conclusion, kallidin and endogenous kinins and prostaglandins have little or no effect on DNA synthesis and therefore on the growth of LNCaP cells in comparison to the two-fold stimulation produced by androgens.     

Intracytoplasmic lumina–a useful diagnostic feature of adenocarcinomas

The monoclonal antibody NCRC-11, which has epithelial membrane antigen (EMA)-like immunoreactivity, was used to identify intracytoplasmic lumina in a series of 105 adenocarcinomas from various sites and in 283 breast carcinomas; 55% of the non-breast carcinomas and all breast carcinomas except one of spindle cell type contained intracytoplasmic lumina. The highest frequency (16.4% of tumour cells) was found in invasive lobular carcinoma of the breast. The use of antibodies with EMA reactivity is advocated in the routine investigation of metastatic and undifferentiated tumours.     

Advanced endometrial adenocarcinoma following endometrial ablation: a case report and review of the literature

Endometrial ablation is an alternate method to hysterectomy when treating dysfunctional uterine bleeding (menorrhagia, metrorrhagia and postmenopausal) that does not respond to hormonal treatment or curettage among a carefully evaluated and selected patient population. Its safety and efficacy have been confirmed in large studies. We present a case of advanced staged endometrial carcinoma diagnosed after endometrial ablation that followed uneventful preoperative work-up.
