Pregnant rats were exposed to either 0, 1.0, or 1.5 ppm ozone during either mid gestation (Days 9–12) or late gestation (Days 17–20). The dams were allowed to deliver and the early morphological and behavioral development of their pups was monitored. Both exposure regimens transiently reduced neonatal growth rates. The late gestation exposure regimen produced retardations in early reflex development and in open field behavior. Finally, several males from this exposure regimen remained permanently stunted in growth.  相似文献

本文对大鼠失血性休克和输血后心房心肌细胞超微结构的改变进行了观察。实验动物分为对照组、失血性休克组及输血组。结果表明,失血性体克对心房心肌细胞超微结构的影响主要表现在心房特殊颗粒显著增多,而输血后则可使心房心肌细胞的超微结构发生较明显的改变,除线粒体肿胀、线粒体嵴减少、灶性空化,基质内出现髓鞘样结构、肌浆网扩张,Gagli复合体、核周隙扩张以及心肌闰盘分离外,其特殊的变化是心房特殊颗粒显著减少。本文研究提示,心房心肌细胞参与了失血性休克和输血后的发病过程。  相似文献

本实验应用光镜、扫描电镜、透射电镜和放射免疫技术观察了体外培养6天甲状腺细胞形态与功能变化过程。用酶消化法将猪甲状腺分离成单个细胞,进行单层培养,在培养液中加入前列腺素 E_1(PGE_1)和 3′5′-环化腺苷酸(cAMP)以代替促甲状腺激素(TSH)的作用,在细胞培养中,观察并记录了甲状腺细胞在体外重新形成滤泡的全过程以及测定了甲状腺激素(T_3、T_4)在培养液中每天的浓度变化。甲状腺细胞在培养的4~5天内完成滤泡形成过程;培养液中T_4浓度在第5天达到分泌高峰。  相似文献

Cytogenetic examination of bone marrow cells from two patients with juvenile chronic myelogenous leukemia (JCML) showed a monosomy 7. Peripheral blood from these two children was found to contain large numbers of cells capable of erythroid colony formation in tissue culture without added erythropoietin. A retrospective evaluation of certain therapist qualities relative to therapeutic change was conducted on 36 phobic and obsessive-compulsive patients who were treated with flooding, a form of in vivo exposure. Most variables concerning the therapist's style of conducting the treatment are significantly related to outcome. It is suggested that a long-term interaction effect may operate between the therapist's style and exposure in vivo. The need is noted for the further evaluation of variables related to patient-therapist compatibility and the therapist's training and experience.  相似文献

The development of antiviral‐resistant cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection complicates the management of transplant recipients. We describe the case of a 65‐year‐old male who developed CMV disease on valganciclovir prophylaxis (donor CMV IgG positive, recipient CMV IgG indeterminate) 30 days after combined liver–kidney transplantation for alcoholic cirrhosis and hepato‐renal syndrome. After an initial complete response to treatment dose oral valganciclovir, he developed recurrent CMV viraemia. Resistance testing revealed a UL97 mutation with in‐frame deletions of codons 595‐596. He was treated successfully with foscarnet and reduction in immunosuppression. This mutation has not been described previously and was suspected to confer ganciclovir resistance. Ganciclovir resistance occurs most commonly due to mutations in the UL97 or UL54 genes, which encode a protein kinase and a DNA polymerase, respectively. The UL97‐encoded protein kinase phosphorylates ganciclovir to ganciclovir triphosphate, which competitively inhibits viral replication. Mutations in the UL97 gene are typically point mutations or deletions. We describe a new mutation, del595‐596 in the CMV UL97 gene, occurring in the context of clinical treatment failure with standard and double‐dose ganciclovir, and successful virological control achieved with foscarnet. This mutation is likely to result in ganciclovir resistance, although recombinant phenotyping is required for confirmation.  相似文献

目的 比较老年抑郁患者配偶与健康对照的生活质量水平,并探讨老年抑郁患者配偶生活质量与患者焦虑抑郁状况之间的关系.方法 对30例老年抑郁患者配偶和30例健康对照组分别进行生活质量综合评定问卷-74(成人用)评估,对老年抑郁患者和健康老人进行抑郁自评量表和焦虑自评量表的评定.结果 抑郁患者配偶的生活质量与对照组有显著差异,GQOLI-74躯体健康、心理健康、社会功能等三个维度的差异明显(均P<0.0001),此三个维度评分与患者SDS和SAS评分显著相关(均P<0.000 1).结论 老年抑郁患者配偶的生活质量下降,且与患者的抑郁焦虑水平密切相关.  相似文献

All herpesviruses encode a homolog of the herpes simplex virus type-1 UL11 tegument protein. Deletion of UL11 disrupts virus envelopment, causes capsid accumulation within the cytoplasm, and reduces virus release. UL11 requires acylation with myristate and palmitate for membrane binding, lipid raft trafficking, and accumulation at the site of virus envelopment. Thus, it was predicted that acylation of UL11 would be necessary for efficient virion production, similar to HIV-1 Gag which requires myristylation for virus production. Accordingly, recombinant viruses were created to express UL11 derivatives that are not acylated, are partially acylated, or contain foreign acylation signals. Unexpectedly, the non-acylated UL11 rescued some growth defects of a UL11-null mutant, even though the unmodified protein was unstable. Furthermore, a myristylated and palmitylated chimera did not fully rescue the null virus. These results suggest that UL11 maintains some function(s) when not membrane-bound, and the sequence context of the acylations is important for UL11 function.  相似文献
