Clinical observation of vascular dementia treated by surrounding-acupuncture of the CT-located area

Purpose To observe the clinical effect of “Surrounding Needling Technigue through CT Location” in treating vascular dementia.Method Fifty cases of vascular dementia were randomly divided into surrounding Needling Technigue through CT location and routine acupuncture groups, 25 cases in each group, and were given surrounding Needling Technigue through CT location and routine acupuncture respectively.Results The effective rates in surrounding Needling Technigue through CT location and routine acupuncture groups were 88% and 60% respectively, and there was significant difference between the two groups,P<0.01.Conclusion Therapeutic effect of surrounding Needling Technigue through CT location in treating vascular dementia was satisfactory, and better than that of routine acupuncture. Clinical observation on treatment of 60 cases of osteoarthritis of knee joint by electroacupuncture

Purpose To observe therapeutic effect of electroacupuncture Neixiyan (Ex-LE 4) and Dubi (ST 35) in treating osteoarthritis of knee joint.Method All the 120 cases were randomly divided into electroacupuncture and control groups, 60 cases in each group, and they were given electroacupuncture and Ritalin slowreleased tablet respectively, and pain, mobility and swelling degree of knee joint were observed before and after treatments.Results In treatment group, the average score increased by 18, while in control group, it increased by 12.33 (P<0.05) after treatment.Conclusion Therapeutic effect of electroacupuncture Neixiyan (Ex-LE 4) and Dubi (ST 35) in treating osteoarthritis of knee joint was better than that of administration of Ritalin slow-released tablet. Clinical observation of 82 cases of enuresis treated by ginger-partitioned moxibustion plus cupping therapy

Purpose: To observe the clinical therapeutic effect in the treatment of enuresis by ginger-partitioned moxibustion plus cupping therapy.Methods: Ginger-partitioned moxibustion was applied on Guanyuan (CV 4) and bilateral Zusanli (ST 36) and cupping therapy was applied on Shenque (CV 8) in the treatment of 82 cases of enuresis, in comparison with 76 cases treated by Chinese herbal medicine.Results: The effective rate was 84.1% in the treatment by ginger-partitioned moxibustion plus cupping therapy and was 64.5% in the treatment by Chinese herbal medicine.Conclusion: Ginger-partitioned moxibustion plus cupping therapy was better than Chinese herbal medicine in the treatment of enuresis (P<0.05).
