Two new drimane-type sesquiterpenes, cinnamadin (1) and cinnamodial 11alpha,12beta-dimethyl acetal (2), together with pereniporin B (3), ugandensolide (4), polygodial (5), capsicodendrin, cinnamodial (6), sitosterol, stigmasterol, lignoceric acid, cinnamosmolide (7), D-mannitol, and delta-tocotrienol were isolated from Cinnamosma madagascariensis. The structures of the new compounds were determined by physical, chemical, and spectroscopic evidence. Compound 7 and D-mannitol were isolated in high yield (5% and 1.36%, respectively). Evaluation of the alpha-glucosidase inhibitory properties of the isolated metabolites demonstrated that compounds 1 and 4 show moderate effects, while cinnamodial (6) exhibited the most potent activity. The chemosystematics of Cinnamosma species are also discussed.  相似文献

AIMS: To study the changes of the incidence of complete mole (CM) and partial mole (PM) by 10-year age groups in Chiba Prefecture. METHODS: All women registered as CM and PMs in Chiba Prefecture during these 18 years were included in this study. The diagnosis of CM and PM was based on the macroscopic and/or microscopic findings. The annual numbers of pregnancy were obtained from the Division of Statistics in Chiba Prefecture Government. RESULTS: The incidence of CM at the upper and lower extremes of maternal age is higher than that of PM. The incidence of CM has decreased constantly at all maternal ages and significantly decreased in women of middle reproductive age (20-39 years old) since 1991, while that of PM has stayed constant during these 18 years. CONCLUSIONS: The incidence of CM and PM in Chiba Prefecture has become as low as that in Europe or the USA. These recent changes suggest that Japanese women may have lost the increased risk to ovulate a nuclear or inactive oocytes, or the differential diagnosis between CM and PM may be obscured with the macroscopic and/or microscopic findings.  相似文献

From the EtOAc-soluble fraction of a MeOH extract of leaves of Cinnamosma fragrans, seven new compounds, including 3,4-seco-24-homo-28-nor-cycloartane, drimane-type sesquiterpenes and their lactams, and two known compounds were isolated. Their structures were elucidated by extensive analyses of spectroscopic data. The cytotoxicity, anti-multidrug resistance activity, and anti-Leishmania activity of a cycloartane derivative and drimane-type sesquiterpene derivatives were assayed. The cycloartane derivative showed strong cytotoxicity, and some drimanes and drimane lactam showed moderate anti-multidrug resistance and anti-Leishmania activity.  相似文献

Mutations in the X-linked phosphatidylinositol glycan, class A gene (Pig-a) lead to loss of glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchors and GPI-anchored proteins from the surface of erythrocytes and other mammalian cells. The Pig-a gene mutation assay quantifies in vivo gene mutation by immunofluorescent labeling and flow cytometry to detect the loss of GPI-anchored proteins on peripheral blood erythrocytes. As part of the regulatory acceptance of the assay, a public database has been created that provides detailed information on Pig-a gene mutation assays conducted in rats and mice. A searchable version of the database is available through a website designed and hosted by the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. Currently, the database contains only mouse and rat data, but it is anticipated that it will expand to include data from other species, including humans. A major purpose in developing the database was to aid in the preparation of a Retrospective Performance Analysis and Detailed Review Paper required for Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development Test Guideline acceptance. We anticipate, however, that it also will be useful for accessing and comparing Pig-a data to data from other assays and for conducting quantitative assessments of Pig-a gene mutation responses. Behçet’s disease (BD) is a chronic relapsing disease with multiple organ system involvement characterized clinically by oral and genital aphthae, cutaneous lesions, and ophthalmological, neurological, and/or gastrointestinal manifestations. Little clinical evidence is available regarding the management of patients with intestinal BD, despite recognition that the presence of intestinal lesions is a poor prognostic factor, causing perforation and massive bleeding. Many recent case reports have suggested that anti-tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF)α monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) are effective in patients with intestinal BD. Adalimumab, a fully human anti-TNFα mAb, has been approved in Japan for the treatment of intestinal BD. Here, we review the pathogenesis, diagnosis and management of intestinal BD, including evidence of the efficacy of anti-TNFα mAbs.  相似文献
