Gene expression profiles in primary pancreatic tumors and metastatic lesions of Ela-<Emphasis Type="Italic">c-myc</Emphasis> transgenic mice

Background  

Pancreatic carcinoma usually is a fatal disease with no cure, mainly due to its invasion and metastasis prior to diagnosis. We analyzed the gene expression profiles of paired primary pancreatic tumors and metastatic lesions from Ela-c-myc transgenic mice in order to identify genes that may be involved in the pancreatic cancer progression. Differentially expressed selected genes were verified by semi-quantitative and quantitative RT-PCR. To further evaluate the relevance of some of the selected differentially expressed genes, we investigated their expression pattern in human pancreatic cancer cell lines with high and low metastatic potentials.     

湖北省地道药材厚朴规范化种植研究及其地建设进展

厚朴是湖北省主要地道药材之一。本文就湖北恩施紫油厚朴的道地沿革与种植历史，以及规范化种植研究进行了综述。     

First trimester maternal serum free beta human chorionic gonadotrophin and pregnancy associated plasma protein A as predictors of pregnancy complications

Objective To examine the value of first trimester maternal serum free β human chorionic gonadotrophin (β hCG) and pregnancy associated plasma protein A (PAPP-A) as predictors of pregnancy complications.
Design Screening study.
Setting Antenatal clinics.
Population Singleton pregnancies at 10–14 weeks of gestation.
Methods Maternal serum free β hCG and PAPP-A were measured at 10–14 weeks of gestation in 5584 singleton pregnancies. In the 5297 (94.9%) pregnancies with complete follow up free β hCG and PAPP-A were compared between those with normal outcome and those resulting in miscarriage, spontaneous preterm delivery, pregnancy induced hypertension or fetal growth restriction and in those with pre-existing or gestational diabetes.
Results Maternal serum PAPP-A increased and β hCG decreased with gestation. The multiple of median maternal serum PAPP-A was significantly lower in those pregnancies resulting in miscarriage, pregnancy induced hypertension, growth restriction and in those with pre-existing or gestational diabetes mellitus, but not in those complicated by spontaneous preterm delivery. The level was < 10th centile of the reference range in about 20% of the pregnancies that subsequently resulted in miscarriage or developed pregnancy induced hypertension or growth restriction, and in 27% of those that developed gestational diabetes. Maternal serum free β hCG was < 10th centile of the reference range in about 15% of the pregnancies that subsequently resulted in miscarriage or developed pregnancy induced hypertension or growth restriction, and in 20% of those that developed gestational diabetes.
Conclusion Low maternal serum PAPP-A or β hCG at 10–14 weeks of gestation are associated with subsequent development of pregnancy complications.

A Survey on Acupuncture for Giving Up Heroin and Treatment of the Withdrawal Syndrome

This paper summarizes the study of acupuncture for giving up heroin and treatment of withdrawal syndrome in China from 1995 to 2003, which includes the selection of acupoints, the evaluation of the therapeutic effects, studies of acupoints and application of relevant instruments, as well as treatment of the withdrawal syndromes of heroin with acupuncture. The therapeutic effect of acupuncture and moxibustion is definite and indispensable, especially at the time when there is no specific remedy for heroin addition.     

住院患者抗菌药使用现状调查

目的:了解我院抗菌药的临床使用现状和存在问题,为抗菌药的合理应用和管理提供科学的依据。方法:调查医院2006年8月21个临床科室的1410份住院病历,内容包括抗菌药使用情况、选用原因和依据、联用情况、给药途径、感染病例细菌培养送检情况等,并进行统计分析。结果:共使用抗菌药9大类44种,使用最多的是头孢菌素类和喹诺酮类。抗菌药使用率61.70%,其中预防用药比例35.06%;联合用药比例43.10%;病原体培养及药敏试验的送检率为31.86%,抗菌药物选用依据以经验用药为主。结论:抗菌药物合理应用的管理须进一步加强。     

STD门诊人群中EB病毒感染及其与性行为关系的调查

目的:探讨性传播疾病(STD)门诊人群中EB病毒感染状况及其与性行为的关系.方法:对STD门诊中有某些高危性行为的就诊者进行问卷调查和实验检查.结果:359例被调查者中,283例患有不同种类STD.在所有被调查者、以及被调查中患有STD的患者、未患有STD的高危性行为人群、男性和女性中,EB病毒的感染率分别是25.6%(92/359)、27.6%(78/283)、18.4%(14/76)、30.8%(74/240)和15.1%(18/119).EB病毒感染与患者的终身性伴数和既往是否患STD有关,与患者的平均年龄、初次性生活年龄、3月内性伴数及性交方式无关.结论:在STD门诊人群中,确实存在一定比例患者感染EB病毒,性交传播可能是EB病毒的感染途径之一.     

替勃龙及代谢产物对人子宫内膜癌细胞系生长的影响

目的研究替勃龙和它的3种代谢产物对人子宫内膜癌细胞HEC-1B增殖的影响，探讨替勃龙对子宫内膜癌的安全性。方法MIT法检测不同浓度替勃龙和它的3种代谢产物加入HEC-1B后细胞生长率的变化，流式细胞仪检测4种药物对细胞周期的影响。结果10μm替勃龙和σ4替勃龙作用24，48，72小时使HEC-1B停滞于G0/1期，抑制HEC-1B细胞增殖。10μm的3α-OH-替勃龙或3β-OH-替勃龙作用24小时，细胞增殖受抑制，对细胞周期的影响不明显。结论10-10^-5μm的替勃龙对子宫内膜癌细胞是安全的。     

药用红花生育期间可溶性糖和可溶性氨基酸含量动态的研究

在药用红花一生中,可溶性糖含量与可溶性氨基酸含量随生育进程而发生变化,与红花植株器官的发育密切相关。可溶性糖含量与可溶性氨基酸含量的比值随生育进程而增加.至生育后期其比值达最大。     

河南地区原发性不孕症流行病学和临床研究

我们在河南省二市五县进行了原发性不孕症流行病学调查。调查结果原发性不孕症患病率为1.96%,原发性不育(含习惯性流产)为2.01%。并对321对原发性不孕症夫妇进行了病因分析,属男方原因的占26.8%,属女方原因的占49.2%,夫妇双方原因者占24%。按原发性不孕症病因分类分析,首要因素男方为精索静脉曲张(10.9%),女方为排卵异常(32.08%)。
