复方鱼腥草口服液质控项目的研究

目的：建立复方鱼腥草口服液质量控制项目。方法：用聚酰胺薄层色谱法对口服液中的主要成分之一绿原酸进行定性鉴别。用ＲＰ－ＨＰＬＣ法对黄芩苷进行含量测定。采用ＯＤＳ柱,流动相为甲醇－０．２％磷酸水溶液（５２：４８）。结果：线性范围０．１６２４～１．６２４ｕｇ。平均回收率为１０１．６％,ＲＳＤ＝１．２％。结论：上述方法简便、重复性好。可用于本品的质量控制。     

Primary musculoskeletal tumors: examination with MR imaging compared with conventional modalities

In 176 cases of primary musculo-skeletal tumors, the informative value of magnetic resonance (MR) imaging was compared with that of plain radiographic examination, angiography, scintigraphy, and computed tomography (CT). In all patients the surgical and histopathologic results were known. For bone tumors confined to the bone, MR imaging was excellent for evaluation of intraosseous extent, but it could not be proved significantly better than CT or scintigraphy. MR imaging was inferior to plain radiography and CT for evaluation of calcification, ossification, cortical destruction, and endosteal/periosteal reaction. For soft-tissue tumors and bone tumors with soft-tissue extension, MR imaging was significantly better than the other modalities in all variables examined: delineation between tumor and muscle, tumor and vessel, tumor and fat, tumor and joint, and tumor and bone, as well as depicting intralesional necrosis and bleeding.     

The mean and variance of samples of dioptric powers: the basic calculations

Methods are presented for calculating the mean and variance-covariance of a sample of dioptric powers that make proper allowance for the astigmatic component. For the first time the way is open to formal statistical analysis of data on such important topics as refractive error.     

The echogenic focus in prostatic sonograms, with xeroradiographic and histopathologic correlation

The sonograms of 42 patients scanned before and after radical prostatectomy were reviewed, giving specific attention to echogenic foci. All patients had clinical stage A or B adenocarcinoma of the prostate. Comparison of the scans with xeroradiographic and histopathologic studies showed all echogenic foci, with or without acoustic shadowing, to represent prostatic calcifications. Calcifications were located in the central portion of the gland exclusively, either immediately adjacent to the urethra or at the margins of the "internal gland", separate from the peripheral location of small tumors. With carcinomatous spread toward the urethra, calculi were found surrounded by tumor. This was considered a result of secondary involvement rather than dystrophic tumor calcification. Prostatic calcifications seem unrelated to the development of adenocarcinoma but must be recognized to prevent erroneous interpretation.
