刺南蛇藤倍半萜的研究

从刺南蛇藤(Celastrus flagelaris Rupr.)种子油中分离到八个β-二氢沉香呋喃倍半萜,经红外、紫外、质谱及核磁共振谱确定它们的结构是1α-乙酰氧基-2α,9β-二肉桂酰氧基-β-二氢沉香呋喃(1),1α,6β,13-三乙酰氧基-9β-苯甲酰氧基-β-二氢沉香呋喃-(2),triptogelinG-1(3),1α,6β-二乙酰氧基-9β-苯甲酰氧基-β-二氢沉香呋喃(4),triptogelinF-2(5),1α,2α-二乙酰氧基-9β-肉桂酰氧基-β-二氢沉香呋喃(6),celaforlinB-3(7),1α,6β-二乙酰氧基-8α-肉桂酰氧基-9α-苯酰氧基-β-二氢沉香呋喃(8)。其中1是新化合物,命名为celastrine B。     

Inhibition of some spontaneous secretory processes in macrophages and fibroblasts by ammonium chloride

Ammonium chloride inhibits the spontaneous secretion of lysozyme by mouse macrophages and the murine macrophage-like cell line P388D1 and the spontaneous secretion of lysosomal enzymes by P388D1 cells, normal human fibroblasts and the hypersecretory mucolipidosis II (I-cell) fibroblasts. NH4Cl can also inhibit protein synthesis, but this is shown to occur mainly at higher concentrations, or after longer periods of exposure, than are needed for the inhibition of the spontaneous secretory processes. It is confirmed that this amine can also interfere with the continuous endocytosis of fluid in the murine cell types. The nature of the inhibitions is discussed.

苯氧烷胺类化合物的合成及其抗高血压活性

前以2,6-二甲基苯氧乙叉为母体合成了一系列化合物,其中1-(2,6-二甲基苯氧基-2-(3,4-二甲氧基苯乙胺)-丙烷盐酸盐(Ⅰ)有较强而特久的降压作用。进一步研究又表明它具有阻断α-肾上腺素受体并兼有钙拮抗作用。     

Effectiveness of individualized neurodevelopmental care in the newborn intensive care unit (NICU)

The individual infant's neurodevelopmental process provides an integrative framework for the delivery of medical care needed to assure the infant's survival and quality of outcome. The infant's neurobehavioral functioning and expression provides an opportunity for caregivers to estimate the individual infant's current strengths, vulnerabilities and threshold to disorganization, as well as to identify the infant's strategies in collaborating in his or her best progression. This perspective supports caregivers in seeing themselves in a relationship with the infant, and in considering opportunities to enhance the infant's strengths and reduce apparent stressors in collaboration with the infant and the family. The results of several randomized studies supporting the effectiveness of such a neuro developmental approach to NICU care will be presented, and suggest implications for staff education and nursery-wide implementation.     

Differentiation of aortic and mitral valve prostheses based on postoperative frontal chest radiographs

The authors reviewed the postoperative frontal chest radiographs of 77 patients given aortic or mitral prostheses in one year and evaluated the criteria for distinguishing between the two: position (cephalocaudal or transverse), orientation (vertical or horizontal), orifice (en face or in profile), direction of flow through the valve (toward the cardiac apex or ascending aorta), and information given on the consultation form. 91% of patients had at least one form containing incomplete or incorrect information. Direction of flow appears to be the best criterion, being discernible in all Starr-Edwards and most Bj?rk-Shiley prostheses; orifice and orientation are considerably less reliable, while position is totally unreliable.
