Excess large and unstable air bubbles can reduce the compressive strength of hardened concrete, and traditional defoamers always fail because of adsorption and encapsulation on cement with the progress of cement hydration in later stages. It is necessary to develop a novel defoamer that shows a sustained defoaming ability in fresh concrete. A novel slow-release defoamer for concrete using porous nanoparticles as carriers is reported for the first time. The porous nanoparticles/polyether defoamer composite (SiO2-Def) was prepared via sol-gel method. SiO2-Def is a spherical composite nanoparticle with a size range of 160–200 nm and a uniform pore size distribution. SiO2-Def shows a high load rate of about 16.4% and an excellent release under an alkali and salt environment. It has a weak initial defoaming ability but shows a sustained defoaming ability with time, so that it can avoid the failures of defoamers and eliminate harmful bubbles entrained during the processes of pumping and transportation. Moreover, SiO2-Def produced a higher compressive strength of the hardened cement mortars.  相似文献

Internal delamination damage in composite connection structures can occur in the process of the overloading of a high-speed bearing, with alternating force loads, high or low temperatures, and the humid or hot environment loads. Mechanical drilling and riveting are usually used at the delamination position and outside its envelope, to inhibit delamination expansion. However, delamination damage can change the structural stress state of the original structure. It is difficult to achieve a better inhibition effect using conventional drilling mechanisms and process methods with intact composite panels, and new damage forms can even be introduced into the drilling process due to unreasonable parameter settings. Therefore, this paper combined finite element simulation technology and experimental processing technology, to analyze the influence of different delamination dimensions and positions on processing quality. The results showed that the feed speed and rotating speed had significant effects on the axial force of composite laminates. In particular, in the case of a low speed and high feed, the axial force will increase significantly.  相似文献

Marine fouling on concrete has become one of the severest problems that damage the surface and even cause internal corrosion of marine concrete. Dissimilarly to the previous abuse of toxic antifoulants, developing hydrophobic waterborne antifouling materials could be regarded as one of the most environment-friendly and potential directions to protect marine concrete. However, the insufficient hydrophobicity, antifouling, and mechanical properties limit their application. Herein, we reported a series of hybrid coatings combining hyperbranched polyglycerol (HPG) decorated waterborne fluoro silicone polyurethane (H) and HPG-grafted graphene oxide (G-HPG) that improve the hydrophobicity, antifouling, and mechanical properties. The hybrid materials were modified by the hyperbranched polyglycerol synthesized based on the anionic-ring-opening reaction between glycerol and ethylene glycol or polyethylene glycol. Remarkably, the hydrophobicity (115.19°) and antifouling properties (BSA absorption of 2.33 μg/cm2 and P. tricornutum attachment of 1.289 × 104 CFU/cm2) of the materials could be developed by the modification of HPG with higher generation numbers and backbone molecular weights. Moreover, the mechanical properties negligibly decreased (tensile strength decreased from 11.29 MPa to 10.49 MPa, same pencil hardness and adhesion grade as H of 2H and grade 2). The results revealed that the HPG of higher generation numbers and backbone molecular weights could benefit materials with enhanced antifouling properties and hydrophobicity. The method of hyperbranched modification can be regarded as potentially effective in developing the durability and antifouling properties of marine antifouling materials.  相似文献

Hantaan virus (HTNV) infection causes an epidemic of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) mainly in Asia. It is well known that T cells mediated anti-viral immune response. Although previous studies showed that double positive T (DP T) cells, a little portion of T lymphocytes, were involved in adaptive immune response during virus infection, their kinetic changes and roles in HTNV infection have not yet been explored. In this study, we characterized DP T cells from HFRS patients based on flow cytometry data combined with scRNA-seq data. We showed that HTNV infection caused the upregulation of DP T cells in the peripheral blood, which were correlated with disease stage. The scRNA-seq data clustered DP T cells, unraveled their gene expression profile, and estimated the ordering of these cells. The production of granzyme B and CD107a from DP T cells and the abundant TCR distribution indicated the anti-viral property of DP T cells. In conclusion, this study identified, for the first time, an accumulation of DP T cells in the peripheral blood of HFRS patients and suggested these DP T cells belonging to CD8+T cells lineage. The DP T cells shared the similar characteristics with cytotoxic T cells (CTL) and exerted an anti-viral role in HFRS.  相似文献

Therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) is effective in optimizing the efficacy of infliximab in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). An affordable way of monitoring is in high demand. This study evaluated the analytical and clinical performances of the newly available Remsima monitor kits and compared them with the established enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay kits. The trough level of infliximab in patients with IBD treated with an infliximab originator (Remicade) or biosimilar compounds (Remsima and Remaloce) was measured using a Remsima® Monitor Drug Level (Remsima) kit at the Samsung Medical Center, Seoul, Korea. Twenty-six plasma samples were collected immediately before the infusion of infliximab from 18 patients with IBD (Remicade, n = 8; Remsima, n = 6; and Remaloce, n = 4). The intra-assay intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) of the RIDA and Remsima kits was 0.951 (95% CI = 0.908–0.976) and 0.990 (95% CI = 0.981–0.995). The inter-assay ICC of infliximab trough level between the RIDA and Remsima kits was very high (R = 0.971; 95% CI = 0.935–0.987), and the mean difference between the kits was 1.458 (95% limits of agreement = −3.302 to 6.219). The intra- and inter-assay reliabilities of all types of infliximab did not show significant differences. Qualitative stratification revealed substantial similarities between the kits (weighted kappa = 0.798). This study indicated that the Remsima kit was reproducible and highly correlated with the RIDA kit.  相似文献

Anxiety is a common disorder among college students, especially those with obesity. Obesity contributes to metabolic disorders and disturbs the neural functions, further leading to anxiety. In this cross-sectional study, we aimed to determine the association between obesity and anxiety among college students and identified the potential factors for obesity-associated anxiety. We evaluated the intervention effects of calorie restriction on anxiety. Self-reported questionnaires were distributed to 1381 college students from January to March in 2021. Anxiety was measured by the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI). Participants were classified into anxiety and non-anxiety groups according to their STAI scores. Chi-squared test and logistic regression were used to analyze the potential factors. We found that 383 college students exhibited anxiety, accounting for 30.1% among all included college students, which was higher than the global average. The association between anxiety and obesity was observed among college students (p = 0.009), especially in males (p = 0.007). We identified that pre-obesity (p = 0.012), unhealthy calorie intake (p = 0.001), dieting (p = 0.003) and high academic year (p = 0.006) as the risk factors for anxiety and found that the long sleep duration was a protective factor for anxiety (p < 0.001). We found that more obese students showed an improvement of anxiety than the underweight students after calorie restriction (p < 0.001). Collectively, our findings suggest that obesity-associated anxiety is prevalent among the college students and could be alleviated by moderate calorie restriction. It is necessary for students to receive anxiety management in their college life. Additionally, the proper calorie restriction should be promoted to help students protect against obesity and obesity-associated anxiety.  相似文献

ObjectiveIn March 2020, World Health Organization declared a global pandemic caused by a novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2). The disease caused by this virus is called COVID-19. Due to its high contagiousness, many changes have occurred in overall areas of our daily life including hospital use by patients. The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of COVID-19 on volume of spine surgery in South Korea using the National Health Insurance database and compare it with the volume of a homologous period before the pandemic. MethodsData of related to spine surgery from January 2019 to April 2021 were obtained from the National Health Insurance and Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service database. Primary outcomes were total number of patients, rate of patients per 100000 population, and total number of procedures. The number of patients by hospital size was also analyzed. ResultsCOVID-19 outbreaks occurred in South Korea in March, August, and December of 2020. Compared to the previous year, the total number of patients who underwent spinal surgery showed a decrease for 2–3 months after the first and second outbreaks. However, it showed an increasing trend after the third outbreak. The same pattern was observed in terms of the ratio of the number of patients per 100000 population. Between 2019 and 2021, the mean number of spine surgeries per month tended to increase. Mean annual medical expenses increased over the years (p=0.001). When the number of spine surgeries was analyzed by hospital size, proportion of tertiary general hospital in 2021 increased compared to those in 2019 and 2020 (vs. 2019, p=0.012; vs. 2020, p=0.016). The proportion of general hospital was significantly decreased in 2020 compared to that in 2019 (p=0.037). ConclusionAfter the COVID-19 outbreak, patients tended to postpone spinal surgery temporarily. The number of spinal surgeries decreased for 2–3 months after the first and second outbreaks. However, as the ability to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic at the hospital and society-wide level gradually increased, the number of spine surgeries did not decrease after the third outbreak in December 2020. In addition, the annual number of spine surgeries continued to increase. However, it should be noted that patients tend to be increasingly concentrated in tertiary hospitals for spinal surgery.  相似文献

Predicting the mortality of patients provides a reference for doctors to judge their physical condition. This study aimed to construct a nomogram to improve the prediction accuracy of patients’ mortality. Patients with severe diseases were screened from the Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care (MIMIC) III database; 70% of patients were randomly selected as the training set for the model establishment, while 30% were used as the test set. The least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression method was used to filter variables and select predictors. A multivariable logistic regression fit was used to determine the association between in-hospital mortality and risk factors and to construct a nomogram. A total of 9276 patients were included. The area under the curve (AUC) for the clinical nomogram based on risk factors selected by LASSO and multivariable logistic regressions were 0.849 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.835–0.863) and 0.821 (95% CI: 0.795–0.846) in the training and test sets, respectively. Therefore, this nomogram might help predict the in-hospital mortality of patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU).  相似文献
