Coronary no-reflow phenomenon is a lethal mechanism of ongoing myocardial injury, following successful revascularization of an infarct-related coronary artery. Incidence of this phenomenon is high following percutaneous intervention, and is associated with adverse in-hospital and long-term outcomes. Several mechanisms such as ischemia-reperfusion injury and distal microthromboembolism in genetically susceptible patients and those with preexisting endothelial dysfunction have been implicated. However, the exact mechanism in humans is still poorly understood. Several investigative and treatment strategies within and outside the cardiac catheterization laboratory have been proposed, but have not uniformly shown success in reducing mortality or in preventing adverse left ventricular remodeling resulting from this condition. Aim
To evaluate the clinical and microbiological profile of diabetic foot ulcer patients admitted to a tertiary care hospital.Methodology
This study recruited 120 diabetic foot ulcer patients of all grade. Their medical records were evaluated retrospectively.Results
We found that median age of patient was 60(52, 67.75) years. 68.3% of patients were males. Median duration of diabetes mellitus was 15(10, 20) years. Mean HbA1C and fasting glucose was 10.3 ± 2.3 and 167.6 ± 52.42 respectively. Neuropathy (35%) and peripheral vascular disease (23.3%) was major micro vascular and macro vascular complication associated. Different locations of ulcers were toe (23.3%), sole (20%), dorsum (18.3%), shin (16.6%), heel (13.3%), and ankle (8.3%). Bacterial infection was seen in 81.66% patients out of which 23.3% had poly microbial infection.Conclusion
Diabetic foot ulcer patient had poor blood glucose control with elevated HbA1C and fasting blood glucose level. Neuropathy and peripheral vascular disease, hypertension were major complications. Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa were common infecting bacteria. 相似文献44.

Quantum dots (QDs) have received considerable attention in information displays owing to their high quantum yield, high colour purity and low-cost fabrication. However, light emission for ultra-thin QD films with low mass percentage of QDs still need to be improved because the blue light can directly transmit the films, leading to insufficient energy to excite the QDs. In this study, we report QD films based on a poly(zinc methacrylate) coating with alloyed green-emitting CdZnSeS/ZnS quantum dots (QDs@PZnMA) together with high refractive-index BaTiO3 nanoparticles to enhance the scattering coefficient of the QD films. Results demonstrate a 7.5-fold increase in the absorption coefficient, 11.3-fold increase in the scattering coefficient, 8.5-fold increase in the optical density (OD) and 8.6-fold increase in the green-light emission of QD films, compared with films that have the same mass percentage of pristine QDs. Pharmaceutical differences between the reference listed drug (RLD) and generic formulations of piperacillin-tazobactam may impact the reconstitution process for intravenous administration. This study evaluated the RLD against three generic formulations and measured their reconstitution times using a standardized process. The mean (standard deviation [SD]) reconstitution time for one generic formulation was 5.57 (1.49) min, which was 35% to 42% longer (P < 0.002) than that for the RLD and two other formulations.
