A novel surgical technique to prevent post-enucleation conjunctival cyst:conjunctival staining with methylthioninium

Dear Editor,Conjunctival cyst of the orbit acquired from enucleation is an infrequent but serious complication;which can occur in 3%-7%of patients,more commonly after a secondary procedure;.The most common manifestations are the inability to retain the external prosthesis.     

主动脉窦瘤破裂的外科治疗体会

目的：总结主动脉窦瘤破裂的手术适应症、手术方法和预后。方法：回顾性分析2011年1月至2017年12月因主动脉窦瘤破裂于我院行外科手术治疗的130名患者资料。其中男性58例(44.62%)，女性72例(55.38%)，年龄32～75（52.72±13.87）岁。合并室间隔缺损55例(42.31%)，合并主动脉瓣关闭不全39例(30%)，合并房间隔缺损12例(9.23%)，合并三尖瓣关闭不全8例(6.15%)，合并二尖瓣关闭不全6例(4.62%)，合并主动脉夹层1例(0.77%)，合并其他心脏疾病9例(6.92%)；破裂开口起源于右冠窦119例，起源于无冠窦11例。所有患者均在中低温体外循环下行手术治疗。结果：所有患者中，2例患者围术期死亡，余128例患者随访5个月至5年，术后心功能恢复至I-II级。结论：一旦发现主动脉窦瘤破裂，应积极予以治疗。     

The oncogenic impact of RNF2 on cell proliferation,invasion and migration through EMT on mammary carcinoma

Mammary carcinoma (MC) is one of most common malignancy in women, and ring finger protein 2 (RNF2) possesses various roles in vast human tumors. In MC tissues as well as in cell lines RNF2 exhibited high expression, had significant association with tumor size, lymph node status, TNM stage, patients’ poor survival, and promoted cell proliferation, colony formation, cell migration and invasion of MC cell lines which was mediated by downregulation of E-cadherin protein. These data reveal that RNF2 protein plays a vital role in the development of MC and may be a potential therapy target of MC.     

Utility of the 3‐Vessel and 3‐Vessel and Trachea Views in Prenatal Diagnosis of a Pulmonary Artery Sling

A pulmonary artery (PA) sling is a very rare congenital cardiovascular anomaly, and only a few studies have reported PA slings in fetuses. The relationship of the PA, aorta, ductus arteriosus, and trachea can be evaluated in the 3‐vessel and 3‐vessel and trachea views during fetal echocardiography. A PA sling can be detected by abnormal positioning of the left PA in relation to the trachea when sweeping from the 3‐vessel view cranially to the 3‐vessel and trachea view. Here we report 3 cases of fetal PA slings and their follow‐ups. Two cases were confirmed by postnatal echocardiography, and the other case was confirmed by a cardiovascular cast after pregnancy termination. We emphasize that the 3‐vessel and 3‐vessel and trachea views are of crucial importance in the prenatal diagnosis of a PA sling.     

染料木黄酮对前列腺癌细胞增殖、迁移和侵袭的影响及机制

本研究拟探讨染料木黄酮对前列腺癌细胞LNCaP和CWR22RV1的增殖、迁移和侵袭能力的影响。一、材料与方法1.材料:前列腺癌细胞株LNCaP和CWR22RV1(中国科学院上海生命科学研究院);Genistein(天津科瑞泰科技有限公司);RPMI 1640、胎牛血清(FBS)、胰蛋白酶(美国Gibco公司);E-钙黏蛋白(E-cadherin)、N-钙黏蛋白(N-cadherin)、波形蛋白(Vimentin,Abcam公司);聚氰基丙烯酸正丁酯(BCA)试剂盒、十二烷基硫酸钠-聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳(SDS-PAGE)上样缓冲液(×5)及蛋白质印迹法(Western blot)试剂盒(上海市碧云天生物公司);2.实验方法:采用噻唑蓝(MTT)实验、划痕实验和Transwell实验检测Genistein对细胞增殖、迁移及侵袭能力的影响。采用Western blot检测E-cadherin、N-cadherin、Vimentin、CD44和Oct-4的表达水平。
