This work aims to fabricate a large-area ceramic substrate for the application of probe cards. Mullite (M) and cordierite (C), which both have a low thermal expansion coefficient, excellent resistance to thermal shock, and high durability, were selected as starting powders. The mullite–cordierite composites were produced through different composition ratios of starting powders (M:C = 100:0, M:C = 90:10, M:C = 70:30, M:C = 50:50, M:C = 30:70, and M:C = 0:100). The effects of composition ratio and sintering temperature on the density, porosity, thermal expansion coefficient, and flexural strength of the mullite–cordierite composite pellets were investigated. The results showed that the mullite–cordierite composite pellet containing 70 wt% mullite and 30 wt% cordierite sintered at 1350 °C performed exceptionally well. Based on these findings, a large-area mullite–cordierite composite substrate with a diameter of 320 mm for use in semiconductor probe cards was successfully fabricated. Additionally, the changes in sheet resistance and flexural strength were measured to determine the effect of the environmental tests on the large-area substrate such as damp heat and thermal shock. We aimed to investigate association between parental age and the risks of term low birth weight and macrosomia.This was a retrospective cohort study using a national database including 2,245,785 term singleton live births with complete parental age data. Old parental age was defined as 35 years or older. Odd ratios (OR) for term low birth weight and macrosomia were analyzed using univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis.Neonatal sex, maternal occupation, parity, nationality, age, and paternal age were significant factors of term low birth weight and macrosomia, in univariate analysis. In multivariate analysis, old maternal age (≥35 years old) showed increased odds of term low birth weight and macrosomia (aOR = 1.122, 95% CI: 1.083 –1.162; and aOR = 1.166, 95% CI: 1.143 – 1.189, respectively). Similarly, old paternal age (≥35 years old) showed increased odds of term low birth weight and macrosomia (aOR = 1.090, 95% CI: 1.058 –1.122; and aOR = 1.101, 95% CI: 1.083 – 1.119, respectively). Maternal education that lasted more than 12 years had reduced odds of term low birth weight and macrosomia (OR = 0.817, 95% CI: 0.792 –0.842; and OR = 0.894, 95% CI: 0.879 – 0.91, respectively). Paternal education that lasted more than 12 years also had reduced odds of term low birth weight and macrosomia (OR = 0.865, 95% CI: 0.84 –0.892; and OR = 0.897, 95% CI: 0.881 – 0.913, respectively).This study suggests that not only maternal age but also paternal age are significantly associated with term low birth weight and macrosomia. This study aimed to compare the background echotexture (BE) between automated breast ultrasound (ABUS) and handheld breast ultrasound (HHUS) and evaluate the correlation of BE with mammographic (MG) density and background parenchymal enhancement (BPE) on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). A total of 212 women with newly diagnosed breast cancer who had undergone preoperative ABUS, HHUS, MG, and MRI were included. Two breast radiologists blinded to the menopausal status analyzed the BE of the contralateral breasts of the patients with breast cancer in consensus. The MG density and BPE of breast MRI on the radiologic reports were compared with the BE in the ultrasound. We used the cumulative link mixed model to compare the BE and Spearman rank correlation to evaluate the association between BE with MG density and BPE. BE was more heterogeneous in ABUS than in HHUS (P < .001) and in the premenopausal group than in the postmenopausal group (P < .001). The heterogeneity of BE in the premenopausal group was higher with ABUS than with HHUS (P = .013). BE and MG density showed a moderate correlation in the postmenopausal group, but a weak correlation in the premenopausal group. BE and BPE showed moderate correlations only in the premenopausal group. ABUS showed a more heterogeneous BE, especially in the premenopausal group. Fluorescence properties of quantum dots (QDs) are critically affected by their redox states, which is important for practical applications. In this study, we investigated the optical properties of MoSe2-metallic phase quantum-dots (MoSe2-mQDs) depending on the pH variation, in which the MoSe2-mQDs were dispersed in water with two sizes (Φ~3 nm and 12 nm). The larger MoSe2-mQDs exhibited a large red-shift and broadening of photoluminescence (PL) peak with a constant UV absorption spectra as varying the pH, while the smaller ones showed a small red-shift and peak broadening, but discrete absorption bands in the acidic solution. The excitation wavelength-dependent photoluminescence shows that the PL properties of smaller MoSe2-mQDs are more sensitive to the pH change compared to those of larger ones. From the time-resolved PL spectroscopy, the excitons dominantly decaying with an energy of ~3 eV in pH 2 clearly show the shift of PL peak to the lower energy (~2.6 eV) as the pH increases to 7 and 11 in the smaller MoSe2-mQDs. On the other hand, in the larger MoSe2-mQDs, the exciton decay is less sensitive to the redox states compared to those of the smaller ones. This result shows that the pH variation is more critical to the change of photophysical properties than the size effect in MoSe2-mQDs. 相似文献

Neurokinin 2 receptor (NK2R), a G protein‐coupled receptor for neurokinin A (NKA), a tachykinin family member, regulates various physiological functions including pain response, relaxation of smooth muscle, dilation of blood vessels, and vascular permeability. However, the precise role and regulation of NK2R expression in cancer cells have not been fully elucidated. In this study, we found that high NK2R gene expression was correlated with the poor survival of colorectal cancer patients, and Interferon (IFN‐α/β) stimulation significantly enhanced NK2R gene expression level of colon cancer cells in a Janus kinas 1/2 (JAK 1/2)‐dependent manner. NKA stimulation augmented viability/proliferation and phosphorylation of Extracellular‐signal‐regulated kinase 1/2 (ERK1/2) levels of IFN‐α/β‐treated colon cancer cells and NK2R blockade by using a selective antagonist reduced the proliferation in vitro. Administration of an NK2R antagonist alone or combined with polyinosinic‐polycytidylic acid, a synthetic analog of double‐stranded RNA, to CT26‐bearing mice significantly suppressed tumorigenesis. NK2R‐overexpressing CT26 cells showed enhanced tumorigenesis and metastatic colonization in both lung and liver after the inoculation into mice. These findings indicate that IFN‐α/β‐mediated NK2R expression is related to the malignancy of colon cancer cells, suggesting that NK2R blockade may be a promising strategy for colon cancers. 相似文献

Background/AimsWe examined the efficacy and safety of tegoprazan as a part of first-line triple therapy for Helicobacter pylori eradication.MethodsA randomized, double-blind, controlled, multicenter study was performed to evaluate whether tegoprazan (50 mg)-based triple therapy (TPZ) was noninferior to lansoprazole (30 mg)-based triple therapy (LPZ) (with amoxicillin 1 g and clarithromycin 500 mg; all administered twice daily for 7 days) for treating H. pylori. The primary endpoint was the H. pylori eradication rate. Subgroup analyses were performed according to the cytochrome P450 (CYP) 2C19 genotype, the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of amoxicillin and clarithromycin, and underlying gastric diseases.ResultsIn total, 350 H. pylori-positive patients were randomly allocated to the TPZ or LPZ group. The H. pylori eradication rates in the TPZ and LPZ groups were 62.86% (110/175) and 60.57% (106/175) in an intention-to-treat analysis and 69.33% (104/150) and 67.33% (101/150) in a per-protocol analysis (non-inferiority test, p=0.009 and p=0.013), respectively. Subgroup analyses according to MICs or CYP2C19 did not show remarkable differences in eradication rate. Both first-line triple therapies were well-tolerated with no notable differences.ConclusionsTPZ is as effective as proton pump inhibitor-based triple therapy and is as safe as first-line H. pylori eradication therapy but does not overcome the clarithromycin resistance of H. pylori in Korea (ClinicalTrials.gov identifier ). Keratoconus is a progressive non-inflammatory corneal ectasia. Alopecia areata is complete loss of hair patches on the hairy areas of the body in association with some ocular manifestations such as cataract, or disorders of the conjunctiva, iris, lens, choroid and retina pigment epithelium. A ten-year-old patient with atopic keratoconjunctivitis, keratoconus and alopecia areata is presented. This patient has also been receiving treatment for Hashimoto thyroiditis (chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis) for more than three years. The possible association of keratoconus with multisystem autoimmune disease is discussed. 相似文献

We investigated the effects of two prokinetic agents, metoclopramide and cisapride, on the contractile response of isolated guinea pig tracheal segments exposed to electrical field stimulation (EFS). Tracheal segments were suspended between two platinum electrodes in organ baths. Frequency-response curves were obtained by increasing the frequency of the stimuli on equilibrated tracheal segments, in a stepwise manner. Metoclopramide potentialed the EFS-induced contraction of the tracheal; the potentiation was more prominent at lower stimulation frequencies (< or = 10 Hz). Cisapride significantly inhibited the electrically stimulated contraction in trachea strips when the frequency of the stimulus was higher than 10 Hz. In the presence of both metoclopramide and cisapride, there was a potentiation of the contractile response at lower frequencies, and this potentiation was reduced when the frequency was higher than 10 Hz. These results demonstrate that metoclopramide enhances and cisapride reduces the airway tonicity elicited by EFS in isolated guinea pig trachea segments. Further studies are needed to verify the effects of these prokinetic agents on EFS-induced contraction of isolated guinea pig trachea and to determine the mechanisms involved. 相似文献
