Cutaneous vasculitis revealing essential thrombocythemia

An 11-month-old boy presented with Gianotti-Crosti syndrome. He had received measles and a third dose of hepatitis B vaccines 2 weeks before the onset of the eruption. There were no clinical symptoms of any viral infection at the presentation. Serological tests for common viral infections were negative. The combination of measles and hepatitis B vaccines was likely the relevant factor in the etiology.     

Pemphigus vulgaris beginning as the Koebner phenomenon

Pemphigus vulgaris is an autoimmune disease characterized by acantholysis and intraepidermal bullae formation. The isomorphic Koebner phenomenon is a response to different stimuli, and it has been described in many skin disorders. An association between the two has rarely been described. We present a case of pemphigus vulgaris that appeared over surgical scars. Pemphigus vulgaris over scars is very rare. In our case, the reactivation of the pemphigus antigens in the surgical scar probably caused a generalized autoantibody response, with the formation of bullae on the patient's trunk.     

Perforating pilomatricoma

A case of perforating pilomatricoma is described. A few published cases have shared the following features: rapid development, reddish exophytic clinical appearance with surface alterations suggestive of perforation, relatively shallow location making contact with the epidermis, and the occurrence of transepithelial elimination phenomena.
