Pseudomonas aeruginosa exotoxin A was purified from the strain PA-103 of the bacterium and labelled with ~(125)Ⅰ.Then the exotoxin was injected intomice through their tail vein.Then autoradiographic tracing,histopathologicalexamination,ultrastructural observation and antiserum protection test werecarried out in the mice.The results suggest that the liver is the target organ ofthe exotoxin and both the hepatocytes and kupffer cells are the target cells whosesevere damages are associated with the acute death of the intoxicated animals. 相似文献
