Although poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) has good electrical conductivity and high transparency in most applications, its usage in stretchable applications is limited because of its rigidity, reduced conductivity after elongation, and poor environmental stability. This study addresses these issues by incorporating the soft and relatively hydrophobic moiety poly(ethylene glycol) methacrylate (PEGMA). By incorporating PEGMA randomly in the rigid PSS chain, a soft and hydrophobic copolymer P(SS‐co‐PEGMA) is obtained. The conducting P(SS‐co‐PEGMA)‐based polymer‐coated PET film exhibits good resistance even after 400% elongation. In addition, PEDOT:P(SS‐co‐PEGMA) has better environmental stability than PEDOT:PSS because of the presence of the relatively hydrophobic PEGMA moiety in the chain. Moreover, the potential applicability of the synthesized flexible and stretchable electronic material as a stretchable matrix is established, which includes inorganic conductors (AgNW). When this material is stretched, it can be applied as a conductive interconnector to maintain the electrical pathway, instead of the other insulating matrices.  相似文献

Background

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease involving multiple organs. Chemokines and their receptors play an important role in the pathogenesis of SLE. Lymphocytes expressing CXCR3, chemokine receptors of CXCL4, 9, 10, and 11, increase in patients with SLE and animal models, particularly in those with skin manifestations and nephritis. We investigated CXCR3 genetic polymorphisms in patients with SLE and their association with clinical manifestations.

Methods

A total of 346 patients with SLE and 540 healthy controls were investigated for CXCR3 intron 1 polymorphisms rs2280964 and rs34334103 by Taqman analysis.

Results

rs2280964 and rs34334103 were not associated with all patients with SLE, but rs34334103 showed a significant association with male patients with SLE. Among the clinical manifestations, pleuritis was associated with the rs34334103 polymorphism.

Conclusion

The CXCR3 polymorphism rs34334103 was associated with male gender and pleuritis in patients with SLE.  相似文献

Pearson syndrome (PS) is a multisystem mitochondrial cytopathy arising from deletions in mitochondrial DNA. Pearson syndrome is a sporadic disease that affects the hematopoietic system, pancreas, eyes, liver, and heart and the prognosis is poor. Causes of morbidity include metabolic crisis, bone marrow dysfunction, sepsis, and liver failure in early infancy or childhood. Early diagnosis may minimize complications, but suspicion of the disease is difficult and only mitochondrial DNA gene testing can identify mutations. There is no specific treatment for PS, which remains supportive care according to symptoms; however, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation may be considered in cases of bone marrow failure.We herein describe the clinical and genetic characteristics of four patients with PS. One patient presented with hypoglycemia, two developed pancytopenia, and the final patient had hypoglycemia and acute hepatitis as the primary manifestation. All patients had lactic acidosis. Additionally, all patients showed a variety of clinical features including coagulation disorder, pancreatic, adrenal, and renal tubular insufficiencies. Two patients with pancytopenia died in their early childhood. Our experience expands the phenotypic spectrum associated with PS and its clinical understanding.  相似文献

CKD-516 (Valecobulin), a vascular-disrupting agent, inhibits microtubule elongation. We evaluated the effect of CKD-516 on lung cancer cells and the underlying molecular mechanisms. The effects of S516, an active metabolite of CKD-516, were evaluated in HUVECs and three lung cancer cell lines and by a microtubule polymerization assay. Tubulin cross-linking was used to identify the binding site of S516 on tubulin, and Western blotting was performed to identify the intracellular pathways leading to cell death. Subcutaneous lung cancer xenograft models were used to assess the in vivo effect of CKD-516 on tumor growth. S516 targeted the colchicine binding site on β-tubulin. In lung cancer cells, S516 increased endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation by mitochondria and the ER. In addition, CKD-516 monotherapy strongly inhibited the growth of lung cancer xenograft tumors and exerted a synergistic effect with carboplatin. The findings suggest that CKD-516 exerts an anticancer effect in company with inducing ER stress and ROS production via microtubule disruption in lung cancer cells. CKD-516 may thus have therapeutic potential for lung cancer.  相似文献

Background: The popularity of virtual reality (VR) grew rapidly. Short guidelines with a lack of emphasis on safe use appears prior to usage. It is necessary for the user to realize how much potentially dangerous VR is.

Aims/objectives: The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of VR on balance in normal people.

Materials and methods: Mean equilibrium score (MES) of 15 adults who have normal sense of balance were obtained by using the sensory organization test (SOT). Conditions 1 and 2 were performed. Multiple VR programs were classified as three levels (Easy, Average, and Challenging) by the visual analog scale. Further SOT tests were performed during watching VR programs. MES of each test was used for statistical analysis.

Results: MES of condition 1 was significantly higher than condition 2. Although there was no statistical difference between Eye open and Easy program (p?=?.097), MES of average and Challenging programs showed significantly decreased scores compared to Eye open. In addition, MES of Average and Challenging programs were significantly decreased than that of Easy program.

Conclusions and significance: VR can cause postural imbalance to users. It is necessary to establish quantifiable and objective methods to measure imbalance caused by VR use.  相似文献

To increase the energy density of today''s batteries, studies on adding Si-based materials to graphite have been widely conducted. However, adding a Si-based material in the slurry mixing step suffers from low distribution due to the self-aggregation property of the Si-based material. Herein, a hierarchical structure is proposed to increase the integrity by using APS to provide a bonding effect between graphite and SiOx. Additionally, to endow a protection layer, carbon is coated on the surface using the CVD method. The designed structure demonstrates enhanced integrity based on electrochemical performance. The MSG (methane decomposed SiOx@G) electrode demonstrates a high ICE of 85.6% with 429.8 mA h g−1 initial discharge capacity. In addition, the MSG anode has superior capacity retention (89.3%) after 100 cycles, with enhanced volumetric expansion (12.7%) after 50 cycles. We believe that the excellent electrochemical performance of MSG is attributed to increased integrity by using APS (3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane) with a CVD carbon coating.

This study demonstrates the increased integrity of graphite–SiOx–C hierarchical structure using 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (APS). Furthermore, the carbon coating contributes to elec-trode stability.  相似文献
