Intracranial venous thrombosis has been described in newborns, but there have been no reports of intractable neonatal seizures due to this condition. We report cortical venous sinus thrombosis in two term neonates who presented with seizures in the first 24 hours of life. The diagnosis was made by cranial computed tomography and was confirmed by cerebral angiography. Both patients improved clinically after the intracranial venous thrombosis resolved. These patients demonstrate that intracranial venous thrombosis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of neonatal seizures.  相似文献

目的了解复方华蟾胶囊抗小鼠移植性肿瘤的作用.方法以小鼠肝癌22(H22)、小鼠肉瘤180(S180)为瘤株,应用动物移植性肿瘤的体内试验法对药物进行抗癌药效学试验.结果复方华蟾胶囊灌胃4,2 g/kg@d,连续14 d,对小鼠移植性肝癌实体型生长有明显的抑制作用,抑瘤率分别为38.09%,30.95%.对小鼠移植性S180实体型生长有明显的抑制作用,抑瘤率分别为34.7%,30.08%.复方华蟾胶囊对荷瘤小鼠的胸腺和脾脏重量无影响.结论复方华蟾胶囊在试验条件下有一定抗肿瘤作用.  相似文献

【目的】探讨在体外受精与胚胎移植 (IVF ET)之前输卵管积水患者行输卵管造口术对IVF ET治疗效果的影响。【方法】回顾分析 1999年 2月至 2 0 0 1年 1月因女性输卵管因素不孕行IVF ET治疗的 90 8个周期的资料。按输卵管积水患者在IVF ET前是否治疗分 3组 ,A组 :输卵管积水未手术治疗行IVF ET 2 3个周期 ,B组 :在IVF ET之前行输卵管积水造口术 (腹腔镜下或开腹 ) 2 2个周期 ,C组 :对照组 (输卵管阻塞 ,未发现输卵管积水 ) 86 3个周期。【结果】A组、B组、C组的IVF ET的种植率分别为 9 7%、17 9%、16 7% ,临床妊娠率分别为 2 1 7%、4 0 9%、39 2 %。A组的种植率及临床妊娠率比其它组低 ,经 χ2 检验 ,有统计学意义。【结论】输卵管积水未治疗行IVF ET的种植率及临床妊娠率较低 ,但在IVF ET之前行输卵管造口术可改善IVF ET的种植率及临床妊娠率  相似文献

Patients at Boston's Children's Hospital diagnosed as having cerebral palsy were filmed walking. These films were digitized and translated into measurements associated with leg motion. In this paper we use the gait measurements of 128 such patients to illustrate that the kth nearest neighbour clustering procedure results in a gait typology for patients with cerebral palsy. The procedure identifies four subpopulations from the sample data; the membership of a patient within this typology is mostly determined by the patient's motor control. The developed typology differs from the present diagnostic system which classifies a cerebral palsy patient as either quadriplegic, diaplegic or hemiplegic.  相似文献

目的:观察肝癌形成过程中明胶酶表达(蛋白及mRNA水平)的动态变化,探索明胶酶在肝癌生长浸润中的作用。方法:应用免疫组化法、明胶酶谱法和RT-PCR法对大鼠肝癌形成过程中各期明胶酶表达情况进行观察,并与正常对照组进行比较分析。结果:正常肝组织及肝硬化组织内明胶酶有表达,肝癌形成后主要在癌细胞内表达;明胶酶原在正常肝组织中有低表达,诱癌过程中呈持续增高趋势;明胶酶-2mRNA与其酶蛋白表达趋向一致。结论:在肝癌形成过程中明胶酶转录和翻译水平均呈持续增高趋势。  相似文献

研究胃癌、胃黏膜肠化生及正常黏膜组织端粒酶活性与人端粒酶催化亚基(hTERT)表达的相关性及端粒酶激活在胃癌发生中的作用.方法:通过端粒重复序列扩增(TRAP)和逆转录聚合酶链反应(RT -PCR)方法测定3种胃癌细胞株、26例胃癌、10例胃黏膜肠化生和36例正常胃黏膜组织标本端粒酶活性和hTERT表达.结果:3种胃癌细胞株、24例胃癌组织有端粒酶活性;4例肠化生端粒酶活性较弱;36例正常胃黏膜标本未测到端粒酶活性.hTERT在26例胃癌组织、5例肠化胃黏膜中表达;正常胃黏膜无表达.端粒酶活性、hTERT表达与肿瘤的分期和病理分级无关.结论:hTERT在肿瘤形成的早期阶段表达,端粒酶的激活是胃癌形成的关键步骤.  相似文献

We have previously shown that the colon carcinoma (LS174T) xenografts that emerged shortly after radioimmunotherapy with 90Y-labeled anti-CEA monoclonal antibody (MAb) ZCE025 lacked significant expression of CEA in comparison with the untreated tumors. The present study was designed to establish if the immunophenotype of the treated tumors was the result of CEA specific therapy and if the effect was permanent. Athymic mice bearing LS174T tumors were treated either with 120 mu Ci of 90Y-ZCE025, an equal dose of 90Y-96.5 (nonspecific MAb), or received no treatment. When the treated tumors grew to approximately 1.5 cm in diameter (6 weeks after therapy), they were resected and aliquoted to be transplanted to other mice, plated in tissue culture, fixed in formalin, and homogenized for CEA quantitation. The procedure was repeated 3 times (a total of 4 months after treatment). The CEA content was evaluated 2 and 6 weeks after therapy and when the tumors were transplanted. We confirmed a 4-fold decrease of CEA in the resurgent tumors 6 weeks after specific 90Y-ZCE025 therapy, which was twice the decrease experienced by the tumors treated with nonspecific 90Y-96.5, indicating substantial and specific killing of CEA-expressing cells. The CEA content slowly but progressively increased with each new pass of the tumor in the mice, reaching approximately one-half the value of the controls at the end of the study. The resurgent tumors were also studied by immunohistochemistry with MAbs detecting different epitopes of CEA, keratin, TAG-72, and epithelial membrane antigen to evaluate possible additional immunophenotypic changes induced by radioimmunotherapy. Only the expression of TAG-72 (recognized by MAb B72.3) increased immediately after therapy, but it returned to the original levels by the end of the study. These results suggest that: (a) specific radioimmunotherapy with 90Y-ZCE025 selectively kills cells that express higher levels of CEA; (b) the immunophenotype of the surviving fraction of the tumor appears to slowly revert to its original form; and (c) other tumor markers unrelated to CEA can also be affected. These observations have important implications for the design of radioimmunotherapy trials.  相似文献

Two new naphtho-pyrone glycosides, 9-[(beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1----6)-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl)oxy]-10- hydroxy-7-methoxy-3-methyl-1H-naphtho[2,3-c]pyran-1 -one (5) and 6-[(alpha-apiofuranosyl-(1----6)-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl)oxy]- rubrofusarin (6), together with cassiaside (3) and rubrofusarin-6-beta-gentiobioside (4) were isolated from the seeds of Cassia tora L. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical and spectral data. The naphtho-gamma-pyrone glycosides (3, 4, and 6) were found to have significant hepato-protective effects against galactosamine damage, which were higher than that of silybin from Silybum marianum.  相似文献

The effects of intracellular Ca2+ (Ca2+i) on K+ currents in hippocampal cells were examined using acutely isolated cells obtained from adult guinea pigs. Whole-cell voltage-clamp recordings were carried out in a configuration that allowed a continuous perfusion of the intracellular medium. Recording media were made to block inward currents and allowed selective activation of K(+)-dependent outward currents. Voltage-dependent outward currents consisted of an initial rapidly decaying component followed by a sustained component. The time constant of decay of the transient current was about 25 msec, and previous studies (Numann et al., 1987) showed that the kinetic and pharmacological properties of this current closely resembled the A current recorded in invertebrate neurons (Connor and Stevens, 1971; Thompson, 1982). Intracellular perfusion of hippocampal cells with a solution containing elevated Ca2+ (about 4.5 x 10(-4) M) elicited outward currents at the holding potential (-45 to -55 mV) and produced changes in voltage-dependent K+ currents. The transient outward current (IA) activated by depolarization was suppressed with increases in Ca2+i. Delayed, sustained K+ currents were greatly potentiated. Data also showed that, among the 3 effects elicited by Ca2+i, suppression of IA was most sensitive to Ca2+i elevation. Previous results (Numann et al., 1987) showed that IA had a lower threshold (about -45 mV) than sustained currents (about -40 mV). By using low levels of depolarization (-40 mV), IA can be selectively activated, and the suppressive effect of Ca2+i on IA was confirmed on the kinetically isolated IA.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献
