Background:Electroacupuncture has been widely used to treat functional constipation. But its efficiency has not been scientifically and methodically evaluated. The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficiency and safety of the electroacupuncture treatment for functional constipation in adults. Methods:This protocol of systematic review will be conducted in accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-analysis Protocols (PRISMA-P). We will conduct the literature searching in the following electronic databases: the Cochrane Library, MEDLINE, EMBASE, Web of Science, Springer, the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD), China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBM), Wanfang, and the Chinese Scientific Journal Database (VIP). The time limit for retrieving studies is from establishment to July 2020 for each database. All published randomized controlled trials (RTCs) related to this review will be included. Review Manager (V.5.3.5) will be implemented for the assessment of bias risk and data analyses. The selection of the studies, data abstraction, and validations will be performed independently by 2 researchers. Results:This review will assess the clinical efficacy and safety, as well as the acupoints characteristics of electroacupuncture on functional constipation (FC) in adults. Conclusion:This review will summarize the current evidence of electroacupuncture on FC outcomes and provide guidance for clinicians and patients to select electroacupuncture for FC in adults.Trail registration number:This protocol of systematic review has been registered on PROSPERO website (No. CRD42019146715).  相似文献

It is well known that many genetic factors are involved in the occurrence and progression of atrioventricular block (AV block) and atrial fibrillation (AF). However, the genetic variants discovered so far have only explained parts of these processes. More genes and variants remain to be identified. In the present study, a three-generation family with an autosomal dominant form of AV block and AF was enrolled. Whole exome sequencing was conducted in three affected and one unaffected family member. A total of 64 nonsynonymous variants was shared by three affected individuals and not present in the unaffected individual. By selection of variants absent in the known databases and were predicted to be deleterious, 4 novel variants were identified. Only one novel frameshift insertion in the LMNA gene (c.825_826insCAGG) was identified in another affected family member and not detected in other non-affected family members and the 100 controls. Our finding expanded the spectrum of variants associated with AV block and AF, and was valuable in the genetic diagnosis of AV block and AF.  相似文献

Guanine nucleotide-binding protein-like-3-like (GNL3L) is required for processing ribosomal pre-rRNA and cell proliferation and is upregulated in many types of cancer. This study is aimed to investigate the clinical significance of GNL3L in esophageal cancer. The mRNA and protein expression levels of GNL3L were determined by using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and immunohistochemistry, respectively. GNL3L was localized in both cytoplasm and nucleus. The expression levels of GNL3L in esophageal cancer tissues were significantly higher than those in adjacent nonmalignant tissues. High GNL3L expression was associated with pathologic type and poor differentiation. Patients with high GNL3L expression had shorter overall survival (OS) than those with low GNL3L expression. Multivariate Cox regression analysis revealed that GNL3L expression was an independently predictive factor for the OS of patient with esophageal cancer. The Gene Expression Profiling Interactive Analysis (GEPIA) databases also showed that GNL3L was upregulated in esophageal cancer, which was closely associated with an unfavorable prognosis of patients with esophageal cancer. Taken together, our findings suggest that GNL3L is upregulated in esophageal cancer, which is linked to the progression of the disease. As a result, GNL3L could be used as a biomarker for esophageal cancer.  相似文献

Background:Since the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), with the improvement of diagnosis and treatment level in various countries, more and more patients have been discharged after systematic treatment. In order to effectively promote the overall recovery of patients’ physical and mental function and quality of life (QOL), the focus of clinical work should be gradually shifted to rehabilitation treatment. Dance-based mind-motor activities were defined as coordinated upright mind-motor movements that emphasize dynamic balance, structured through music or an inner rhythm (e.g., breathing) and distinctive instructions or choreography, and that involve social interaction. It has positive effects on motor function, lung function, psychological mood and other aspects, so it can be used as a safe alternative therapy for patients recovering from COVID-19. At present, there are no relevant articles for systematic review. Methods:From its inception until March 2021, we will conduct a comprehensive electronic search, including Cochrane Library, MEDLINE, PubMed, Springer, EMBASE, Chinese Science Citation Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, Chinese Scientific Journal Database, Wan-fang database. Two independent researchers will conduct article retrieval, screening, quality assessment, and data analysis through the Review Manager (V. 5.3.5).Results:The results of this study will evaluate the effectiveness and safety of dance-based mind-motor activities for the improvement of QOL in COVID-19 patients during the recovery period. Conclusion:The conclusion of the study will provide an evidence to judge whether dance-based mind-motor activities is effective and safe for COVID-19 in recovery period.Ethics and dissemination:This protocol will not evaluate individual patient information or infringe patient rights and therefore does not require ethical approval.PROSPERO registration number:CRD42021232995.  相似文献

Breast cancer is becoming a leading death of women all over the world; clinical experiments demonstrate that early detection and accurate diagnosis can increase the potential of treatment. In order to improve the breast cancer diagnosis precision, this paper presents a novel automated segmentation and classification method for mammograms. We conduct the experiment on both DDSM database and MIAS database, firstly extract the region of interests (ROIs) with chain codes and using the rough set (RS) method to enhance the ROIs, secondly segment the mass region from the location ROIs with an improved vector field convolution (VFC) snake and following extract features from the mass region and its surroundings, and then establish features database with 32 dimensions; finally, these features are used as input to several classification techniques. In our work, the random forest is used and compared with support vector machine (SVM), genetic algorithm support vector machine (GA-SVM), particle swarm optimization support vector machine (PSO-SVM), and decision tree. The effectiveness of our method is evaluated by a comprehensive and objective evaluation system; also, Matthew’s correlation coefficient (MCC) indicator is used. Among the state-of-the-art classifiers, our method achieves the best performance with best accuracy of 97.73 %, and the MCC value reaches 0.8668 and 0.8652 in unique DDSM database and both two databases, respectively. Experimental results prove that the proposed method outperforms the other methods; it could consider applying in CAD systems to assist the physicians for breast cancer diagnosis.  相似文献
