Background:
The cross-section of thoracolumbar vertebral body is kidney-shaped with depressed posterior boundary. The anterior wall of the vertebral canal is separated from the posterior wall of the vertebral body on the lateral X-ray image. This study was designed to determine the sagittal distance between the anterior border of the vertebral canal and the posterior border of the vertebral body (DBCV) and to analyze the potential role of DBCV in the estimation of cement leakage during percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) or percutaneous kyphoplasty (PKP).Methods:
We retrospectively recruited 233 patients who had osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures and were treated with PVP or PKP. Computed tomography images of T11–L2 normal vertebrae were measured to obtain DBCV. The distance from cement to the posterior wall of the vertebral body (DCPW) of thoracolumbar vertebrae was measured from C-arm images. The selected vertebrae were divided into two groups according to DCPW, with the fracture levels, fracture grades and leakage rates of the two groups compared. A relative operating characteristic (ROC) curve was applied to determine whether the DCPW difference can be used to estimate the degree of cement leakage. The data were processed by statistical software SPSS version 21.0 using independent sample t-test and Chi-square tests.Results:
The maximum DBCV was 6.40 mm and the average DBCV was 3.74 ± 0.95 mm. DBCV appeared to be longer in males than in females, but the difference was not statistically significant. The average DCPW of type-B leakage vertebrae (2.59 ± 1.20 mm) was shorter than that of other vertebrae (7.83 ± 2.38 mm, P < 0.001). The leakage rate of group DCPW ≤6.40 mm was lower than that of group DCPW >6.40 mm for type-C and type-S, but much higher for type-B. ROC curve revealed that DCPW only has a predictive value for type-B leakage (area under the curve: 0.98, 95% confidence interval: 0.95–0.99, P < 0.001), and when the cut-off value was 4.05 mm, the diagnostic sensitivity and the specificity were 94.87% and 93.02%, respectively.Conclusions:
Depression of the thoracolumbar posterior vertebral body may be informative for the estimation of cement location on C-arm images. To reduce type-B leakage, DCPW should be made longer than DBCV on C-arm images for safety during PVP or PKP. 相似文献992.

Background
Exosomes secreted by tumor cells contain specific antigens that may have immunotherapeutic purposes. The aim of this study was to characterize the proteomic content of lymphoma cell-derived exosomes (LCEXs).Methods
In this study, exosomes derived from Raji cells (EXORaji) were purified and proteins of EXORaji were separated by one-dimensional sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Protein bands were identified by mass spectrometry. The protein components of EXORaji were analyzed using shotgun technology, and the function proteins of EXORaji were defined and described using the Gene Ontology (GO) database and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analysis.Results
A total of 197 proteins were identified in EXORaji; 139 proteins were also identified in Raji cells, showing an overlap of 70.56% of the total proteins in EXORaji. Interestingly, the remaining 58 proteins were unique to EXORaji. The GO database and KEGG were used to define and describe the function of proteins. The data showed that some important proteins involved in antigen procession and presentation as well as cell migration and adhesion were also identified in EXORaji, such as MHC-I and II, HSC70, HSP90, and ICMA-1.Conclusions
LCEXs express a discrete set of proteins involved in antigen presentation and cell migration and adhesion, suggesting that LCEXs play an important role in the regulation of immunity and interaction between lymphoma cells and their microenvironment. LCEXs harbor most of the proteins of lymphoma cells and could be one of the sources of lymphoma-associated antigens for immunotherapeutic purposes. 相似文献993.

目的 利用可吸收缝线缝扎部分胆总管建立兔损伤性胆管狭窄动物模型.方法 24只新西兰兔按完全随机方法分为3组:正常对照组、假手术对照组和手术组.手术组用6-0可吸收缝线缝扎1/2胆总管,手术当天和术后15、30 d检验血清肝功能指标,取狭窄段胆总管行HE染色、Masson三色染色检测胶原纤维和肌纤维的表达,免疫组化DAB法检测狭窄段胆管组织Ⅰ、Ⅲ型胶原的表达.结果 手术组动物直接胆红素、间接胆红素、丙氨酸氨基转移酶和天门冬氨酸氨基转移酶在30 d均高于术前(P<0.01).术中观察胆总管损伤处明显狭窄,手术组病理切片中,胶原纤维大量增生形成瘢痕组织,Ⅰ、Ⅲ型胶原随着时间推移表达强度逐渐增强.结论 可吸收缝线缝扎法可有效建立兔胆总管良性狭窄模型. 相似文献

目的:探讨PBL与案例法相结合在眼科临床见习教学中的效果。方法:临床医学专业本科见习生84人,随机分为PBL案例法教学实验组(42人)和传统教学对照组(42人),通过问卷满意度调查、理论考试、临床考核对两组学生进行测评。结果:实验组和对照组理论考试成绩无明显差异。临床考核中实验组的成绩明显优于对照组。问卷调查显示实验组的学生对PBL案例法教学有很高的满意度。结论:PBL案例教学法能明显提高学生的综合素质教学效果,而不会影响眼科基础知识的学习。 相似文献

目的探讨降钙素在长期血透并慢性肾脏病矿物质和骨异常(chronic kidney disease-mineral and bone disorder,CKD-MBD)伴高血钙患者的应用价值.方法选取昆明医科大学附属延安医院维持血透2 a以上伴高血钙CKD-MBD患者64例,随机分为2组,对照组:口服骨化三醇0~0.5μg/d治疗,实验组:加用依降钙素20μg/周,肌肉注射治疗,3周、6周后观察2组骨关节疼痛评分、血清钙(Ca)、磷(P)、钙磷乘积[Ca]×[P]、甲状旁腺素(PTH)、骨钙素(BGP)、降钙素(CT)变化.结果治疗3周后、6周后实验组与对照组、治疗前比较,骨关节疼痛评分、Ca、[Ca]×[P]有不同程度下降(P<0.05),CT有不同程度升高(P<0.05);6周后血清PTH、P明显下降(P<0.05).结论降钙素能短期内改善CKD-MBD血透患者的高血钙状态,为继发性甲状旁腺功能亢进、高磷血症的治疗创造了有利条件,同时对改善骨关节疼痛症状有明显效果. 相似文献

采用重组HCV抗原片段C22和33c包被酶标板孔,以间接ELISA方法,检测40例输血后急性丙型肝炎患者血清抗-HCV-IgM。40例患者均在起病后40天内出现抗-HCV-IgM阳性,抗-HCV-IgM阳性与HCVRNA阳性密切相关,抗体阳性持续时间因病程是否转为慢性而不同。23例自限性急性丙型肝炎(丙肝)患者,在起病后6个月内抗-HCV-IgM全部阴转并伴有HCVRNA阴转,而17例转慢的急性丙肝患者中15例抗-HCV-IgM持续阳性,其HCVRNA亦持续阳性或间断阳性。提示急性丙肝检测抗-HCV-IgM,可作为抗-HCV-IgG和HCVRNA检测的一个补充,在反映病情和判断预后方面有一定作用 相似文献
