Clinical Use of Afala in the Therapy of Chronic Prostatitis

The efficiency of afala in the therapy of chronic abacterial prostatitis was demonstrated. The preparation considerably improved urodynamics, reduced pain syndrome and inflammation, decreased prostate volume, improved patient’s quality of life, and restored microcirculation in the prostate. No changes in blood, urine, and ECG parameters were noted. No side effects requiring afala withdrawal were recorded.     

Diagnostic potential of indirect radionuclide angiography in kidney cancer

Indirect radionuclide angiography was performed in 95 suspects for renal tumor. The data obtained by the said procedure were compared to those yielded by surgery, autopsy and X-ray contrast angiography. The majority of renal tumors were found to have specific angionephroscintigraphic features. The sensitivity of the method in detecting renal carcinoma was 90.2%, specificity--86.3 and diagnostic reliability--88.4%. The procedure proved functional, sparing and highly informative.     

Thymus Recovery after Intensive Physical Exercise under Conditions of Immunocorrection and without It

Exogenous antioxidants, e.g. tocopherol, prevent undesirable changes in the thymus and accelerate its recovery after intensive physical exercise.
