Inhibitory effect of islet amyloid polypeptide of glucose-induced proinsulin biosynthesis in rat insulinoma cells.

Islet amyloid polypeptide (IAPP) has been recently identified as the principal constituent of amyloid deposits in pancreatic islets of patients with type 2 (non-insulin-dependent) diabetes mellitus and causes insulin resistance in some target cells. In addition, glucose-induced insulin secretion is inhibited by IAPP. We studied the effect of IAPP on proinsulin biosynthesis in rat insulinoma (RINr) cells. Glucose at concentrations of 0, 15, 30, 60, 100, and 300 mg/dl stimulated proinsulin biosynthesis in a dose-responsive and and actino-mycin D-inhibitable manner after 6 h of incubation. At a glucose concentration of 300 mg/dl, IAPP decreased the mean responses of proinsulin biosynthesis to 61.2 and 29% at concentrations of 0.1 and 1 microM, respectively, compared with the IAPP-free control. In conclusion, IAPP inhibits glucose-induced proinsulin biosynthesis in RINr cells. IAPP might play an important role in the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus.     

Percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty in a patient with paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria

Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) is an acquired chronic hemolytic anemia associated with an unusual susceptibility to hemolytic crisis, infection, and venous thrombosis which would be aggravated by a number of factors including surgery. We report a case of PNH undergoing percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty and discuss the corresponding perioperative management.     

桡骨颈骨折经皮撬拨复位的远期疗效

用经皮撬拨复位治疗桡骨颈骨折56例,其中复位良好46例,较好6例和不良4例;经3年7个月平均随访,复位良好和较好的44例中,后期疗效良好32例,较好11例和一般1例。骨折解剖复位、撬拨复位的手术损伤轻和石膏固定时间较短是后期疗效满意的关键。成人桡骨颈骨折伴肘内侧副韧带严重损伤比儿童多见,但儿童桡骨颈骨折严重倾斜移位和完全移位比成人多见,后期疗效更满意。     

Comparison between a new acceleration transducer and a conventional force transducer in the evaluation of twitch responses

An acceleration transducer elicits an output voltage proportional to the deformation of the piezo crystal, in accordance with the twitch responses of the applied fingers. The reliability of such a transducer was evaluated by comparing induced twitch responses with those from a force transducer applied on the contralateral arm of an individual during neuromuscular block with vecuronium. The results obtained from twitch responses with the acceleration transducer during neuromuscular block were almost identical to those obtained with the force transducer. Also, the twitch heights due to acceleration of the examined thumb correlated extremely well with the twitch height due to twitch tension with the force transducer. It is concluded that the acceleration transducer may be a useful and reliable device for monitoring neuromuscular block, although responses during tetanic stimulation such as tetanic fade cannot be determined by the transducer.     

系统性红斑狼疮肺胸膜病变(附50例报告)

50例SLE患者有肺胸膜病变,其中女性47例(94％),男性3例(6％),小于40岁者41例(82％)。50例中表现为胸膜炎和(或)胸腔积液26例,狼疮肺炎15例,弥漫性肺间质纤维化5例,肺不张3例,肺纹理增多17例。经激素治疗随SLE症状改善,肺胸膜病变好转。     

Indices of the body's neurohumoral activity and hemodynamic types in hypertension

A study of neurohumoral parameters in patients with essential hypertension and different hemodynamic types demonstrated different patterns of hormonal change in patients with hyperkinetic, eukinetic and hypokinetic hypertension. Elevated blood tri-iodothyronine and thyroxine, seen in patients with hyperkinetic hemodynamic type, and increased catecholamine excretion in patients with hypokinetic hemodynamics may be indicative of the pathogenetic significance of the hormones in question for the formation of respective variants of essential hypertension.     

抗蝮蛇毒磷酸二酯酶单克隆抗体的制备及鉴定

从蝮蛇毒中提取磷酸二酯酶,用此酶免疫BALB/c小鼠,取其脾细胞与小鼠骨髓瘤细胞Fo融合,以间接ELISA检测杂交瘤细胞培养上清液和小鼠腹水中的特异性抗体,其效价分别为1∶128和1∶51 200.抗原阻断试验结果表明,此抗体对蛇毒磷酸二酯酶具有特异性.该杂交瘤细胞株定为G_8,该株单抗属鼠IgG_(2a)亚型,经体外持续培养6个月,其分泌抗体性能稳定.     

再生医学技术在烧伤传统治疗无效病人中的应用(附38例报告)

目的：总结重度烧伤传统疗法无效改为再生医学(MEBT/MEB0)技术治疗变化规律和临床验．方法：将我科l995年5月至2002年5月收治的院外采用传统疗法无效改用MEBT/MEBO技术治疗的38例重度烧伤病人临床资料进行回顾性总结，病人一旦入院创面均改用MEBT/MEBO治疗，初始予以彻底清创，规范用药、规范操作，规范认识；全身实行系统综合治疗措施．以临床观察和病人感觉评价治疗效果。结果：本组38例全部治愈，末植皮自行愈合者21例．占55.26％．深Ⅲ度创面自愿要求植皮者17例，占44.74％。经随访多数无增生性瘢痕，部分愈后有局限性瘢癌，质软无残废。结论：重度烧伤经传统疗法久治不愈或疗效欠佳病人．病情复杂，并发症较多治疗难度也较大，再生医学可有效改善以上缺陷和病症．是重度烧伤病人传统治疗无效时的理想疗法。     

ICR 小白鼠脏器中铜,锌锰含量

对40只正常成年远交系 ICR 小白鼠的主要脏器,用 WFX—Ⅱ型双光束原子吸收分光光度计测定了各脏器中铜、锌、锰含量.结果表明,主要脏器中铜、锌、锰含量大小顺序不一,铜含量最多的脏器是心,锌、锰含量最多的脏器是肝,在雌雄之间均无显著性差异.     

APPLICATION OF ACUPOINT-INJECTION THERAPY TO PAIN SYNDROME: CLINICAL ANALYSIS OF 250 CASES

In this paper,250 cases of headache,shoulder pain,lumbago and leg pain weretreated with 20％Angelicae Sinensis mixed with Vitamine B_(12) point-injection therapy.The total effective rate was 95.2％and in which the cure rate was 53.6％.Authors have found a close correlation between the effectiveness and the duration of disease.
