A Stafne bone defect is a static bone depression in the mandible that is commonly observed in cortical bone near the mandibular angle. We herein present a rare case in which static bone depressions attached to the three major salivary glands were observed on panoramic radiography and computed tomography (CT). The three static bone depressions in the mandible were visualized on a panoramic radiograph and CT as oval radiolucent masses in a 68-year-old man. The CT numbers in the bone depressions ranged from 10 to 50 HU, and they were close to those of the respective salivary glands. Based on the CT numbers, the areas in the bone depressions were determined to be a normal parotid gland, sublingual gland, and submandibular gland. The patient underwent a follow-up examination and did not request further consultation. 相似文献

Diaphragmatic eventration refers to an abnormal elevation of the diaphragm. Here, we report the case of a patient with gastric cancer who underwent successful laparoscopic distal gastrectomy despite the presence of diaphragmatic eventration. The patient was a 72-year-old man diagnosed with early gastric cancer in the antrum, as detected by upper gastrointestinal endoscopy. Preoperative imaging revealed an elevation of the left side of the diaphragm, which was diagnosed as diaphragmatic eventration. Laparoscopic surgery is beneficial for obtaining an optimal field of view. However, there are critical points that must be considered when laparoscopic distal gastrectomy is performed in patients with gastric cancer complicated by diaphragmatic eventration. There were difficulties that affected manipulation because the elevated diaphragm drew the intraperitoneal organs into the thoracic cavity, causing displacement of the normal anatomical position. We found it beneficial to secure the lesser curvature of the stomach given the possible effects of gastric deformation. 相似文献

A molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) nanosheet-decorated titanium dioxide (TiO2) NRA heterojunction composite was fabricated successfully through a two-step hydrothermal approach. Microstructures and optical properties of specimens were characterized by field-emission scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffractometry, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy. The gaps of the TiO2 nanorods have been filled with tiny MoS2 nanosheets, which can increase the surface area of MoS2/TiO2 NRA composite thin films. In addition, the photocatalytic activity of the thin films were measured and discussed in greater detail. The appropriate hydrothermal reaction temperature of MoS2 is important for the growth of perfect MoS2/TiO2 NRA composites with significantly enhanced photocatalytic performance. The photodegradation rate and k value of MoS2-220/TiO2 are 86% and 0.0105 min−1, respectively, which are much larger than those of blank TiO2. A novel turn-on fluorescent sensor for Al3+ based on photochromic diarylethene with a 2-hydroxybenzhydrazide unit has been successfully designed and synthesized. The photochromic and fluorescent characteristics were studied methodically in methanol under irradiation using UV/vis light and induced by Al3+/EDTA. This fluorescent sensor was highly selective toward Al3+ with an obvious fluorescent color change from dark blue to blue. The Job''s plot and mass spectrometry (MS) analysis indicate a binding stoichiometry of 1 : 1 between the fluorescent sensor and Al3+. Moreover, a test strip containing this fluorescent sensor was prepared to allow for the easy detection of Al3+ in water. Finally, a logic circuit was designed using four input signals (In1: UV; In2: vis; In3: Al3+; In4: EDTA) and one output signal.A novel fluorescent sensor, 1O, based on photochromic diarylethene with a 2-hydroxybenzhydrazide unit was designed and synthesized and can be used to recognize Al3+ in methanol (2.0 × 10−5 mol L−1). 相似文献

It is reported that olivine-type lithium iron phosphate (LFP) for Li-ion batteries is one of the most widely utilized cathode materials, but its high-power applications are limited due to its intrinsically poor ion transfer rate and conductivity. Therefore, it is highly desired to fabricate LFP Li-ion capacitors (LICs) with high power performance and excellent cyclic reversibility, especially in safe, low cost and environmentally friendly aqueous electrolytes. Here, we fabricate LFP/expanded graphite (EG) nanocomposites by a one-step process, in which polyethylene glycol (PEG) is used as the particle growth inhibitor combined with vacuum infiltration of the LFP precursor into EG as a conductive sub-phase, and further investigate their high-power performance in aqueous LICs. Embedding spherical LFP nanoparticles with well-controlled size and agglomeration into the pores of EG and wrapping LFP nanoparticles by EG films contribute to the rapid electron and ion diffusion in LFP/EG composites, resulting in excellent cyclic reversibility and rate performance of LFP/EG composites. The aqueous LFP/EG//active carbon (AC) LICs were assembled in LiNO3 electrolytes with LFP/EG composites and AC as the positive and negative electrodes, respectively. The optimal LIC shows a power density of 2367.9 W kg−1 at an energy density of 6.5 W h kg−1, dramatically favorable rate characteristics and excellent cycle life with 82.1% capacitance retention of its primary capacitance at 2 A g−1 after 6000 cycles, markedly higher than those of the commercial LFP LIC. Currently, discovering new materials with superior second-order nonlinear optical (NLO) performance has become a very hot research topic in the fields of chemistry and materials science. Now, density functional theory (DFT) has become a powerful tool to predict the performance of novel materials. In this paper, based on benzannulated and selenophene-annulated expanded helicenes, twenty-six helicenes are designed by introduction donor/acceptor moieties and their combinations at different substituent positions. The geometrical/electronic structures, electronic transition, and second-order NLO properties of these helicenes are full investigated by DFT/TDDFT theory. The investigations show that these helicenes have large first hyperpolarizability values (βHRS). For instance, the βHRS value (29.95 × 10−30 esu) of helicene H24 is about 7 times larger than that of the highly π-delocalized phenyliminomethyl ferrocene complex. In addition, the introduction of acceptor NO2 unit at R7 and R8 positions for helicenes H1 and H15 can obtain the largest βHRS value, which is attributed to the enhancement of electron acceptor ability. In view of large NLO response and intrinsic asymmetric structures, the studied helicenes have the possibility to be excellent second-order NLO materials.The nonlinear optical properties of the studied helicenes were studied with the aid of the DFT calculations. 相似文献

Semiconducting single-walled carbon nanotubes (s-SWNTs) show great promises in advanced electronics. However, contact resistance between the nanotubes and metal electrode has long been a bottleneck to the development of s-SWNTs in high-performance electronic devices. Here we demonstrate a simple and controllable strategy for enhancing the electrode contact and therefore the performance of s-SWNT thin film transistors by plasma etching treatment, which effectively removes the polymer residues, including the photoresist and the conjugated molecules, adsorbed on the surface of s-SWNTs. As a result, the contact resistance is reduced by 3 times and the carrier mobility rises by up to 70%. Our method is compatible with current silicon semiconductor processing technology, making it a viable effective approach to large-scale application of s-SWNTs in the electronics industry.Controllable plasma etching induced contact enhancement for high-performance carbon nanotube thin-film transistors and analysis of the mechanism. 相似文献
