Nucleotide Sequence of the ADH23 Gene Encoding the Human Alcohol Dehydrogenase β3 Subunit

All nine exons of the ADH2(3) allele, which encodes the human alcohol dehydrogenase beta 3 subunit, have been cloned and sequenced. Comparison of this sequence to the ADH2(1) nucleotide sequence revealed only a single difference that results in an amino acid change, thus proving that the significant kinetic differences between these two isozymes is due to the Cys for Arg substitution at position 369. There are also two silent polymorphisms, and two changes in noncoding regions.     

随机系统的最小熵控制

本文放弃传统的MSE准则,从信息论观点出发,发展了随机系统的一种最小熵(ME)控制方法,并从ME控制的等价性、控制限度、存在性、唯一性及必要条件等方面,研究了ME控制的合理性和实用性。ME方法是一种全局分析法,它不仅包含了MSE和MAP准则,且由于全文在整个推导中并未假定高斯性、线性和非时变等,因而原则上适用于诸如非高斯、非线性、时变等传统方法难以处理的复杂系统;不仅适用于工程系统,将其推广到决策、社会、经济等领域会更为自然和切合实际。

随着我国医疗水平的逐渐提高,大型医疗设备的添置已成为医疗机构面临的重要问题,三级甲等医院作为我国先进的诊疗水平单位,依靠雄厚的资金实力,把添置大型医疗设备的目光瞄向进口产品,而一些县级二甲医院和一级乡镇医院由于资金实力不足,通常采取购买和租赁二手医疗设备的办法,作为添置医疗设备的一种途径.     

Development and optimization of an indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the determination of Hexoestrol

An indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the detection of hexoestrol (HES) was developed, optimized and validated for the analysis of HES in pork. Many parameters, such as the volume ratio of solution A and solution B, colour developing time, pH value, incubation time, the volume ratio of the standard solution and diluted antiserum, blocking solution, blocking condition, coating solution and coating condition were studied and optimized in the paper. The regression equation of the final inhibition curve is y = - 0.3345x + 1.4955, R²=0.9913. The linear range is 0.1-8.1 ng/ml, and the IC₅₀ is 0.671 ng/ml. The specificity of the assay was evaluated by the cross-reactivity rates of six compounds, of which two structurally related compounds had a relatively higher cross-reactivity rate of 25% and 6%. HES was added into a pork sample at 5 ng/g level and then the sample was extracted. The recovery is between 49.6% and 79.2%, and the variation coefficient is 0.164.     

Chronic orchialgia: Consider gabapentin or nortriptyline before considering surgery

OBJECTIVE: To establish if there is a role for gabapentin or nortriptyline in the treatment of chronic orchialgia. METHODS: Twenty-six consecutive patients with chronic orchialgia were seen in the chronic pain clinic by a multidisciplinary team. A pain questionnaire was completed prior to commencing either gabapentin or nortriptyline. They were reviewed at 3 months and a repeat questionnaire completed. A 50% improvement in pain was considered successful. RESULTS: Complete data was available for 19 patients. Overall, 61.5% of patients commenced on gabapentin and 66.6% of patients commenced on nortriptyline had a greater than 50% improvement in pain. Patients with post-vasectomy testicular pain were considered as a subgroup. None of these patients had a greater than 50% improvement in pain. However, 80% of patients in the subgroup with idiopathic chronic orchialgia had a greater than 50% improvement in pain. CONCLUSION: Although this is a small study, it appears that gabapentin and nortriptyline are effective in the treatment of idiopathic chronic orchialgia but not post-vasectomy pain.     

Survivin和Bcl-2在尖锐湿疣中的表达

目的:测定survivin和Bcl-2在尖锐湿疣(CA)组织中的表达并探讨两者表达的关系。方法:应用免疫组织化学链霉菌抗生物素蛋白过氧化物酶方法(SP法)分别检测60例CA组织及10例正常包皮组织中survivin、Bcl-2基因的表达。在镜下观察切片并计算阳性细胞百分比。结果:CA组织中survivin的表达率为86.67%,显著高于正常包皮的表达率20%(P<0.01)。其中棘层的表达率85.00%显著高于基底层的表达率70.00%和颗粒层的表达率66.67%(P<0.05),基底层与颗粒层的表达率之间无显著性差异(P>0.05)。Bcl-2在CA的表达率为66.67%,正常包皮组织中未见Bcl-2蛋白表达。survivin在CA中的表达与Bcl-2呈正相关(P<0.01)。结论:本实验检测出survivin基因在CA组织中有异常表达,提示survivin蛋白引起的细胞凋亡抑制在CA的发生中起到重要的作用。survivin与Bcl-2在CA的发生发展过程中起到协同作用。     

IDEC-131 (Anti-CD154), Sirolimus and Donor-Specific Transfusion Facilitate Operational Tolerance in Non-Human Primates

CD154-specific antibody therapy prevents allograft rejection in many experimental transplant models. However, initial clinical transplant trials with anti-CD154 have been disappointing suggesting the need for as of yet undetermined adjuvant therapy. In rodents, donor antigen (e.g., a donor blood transfusion), or mTOR inhibition (e.g., sirolimus), enhances anti-CD154's efficacy. We performed renal transplants in major histocompatibility complex-(MHC) mismatched rhesus monkeys and treated recipients with combinations of the CD154-specific antibody IDEC-131, and/or sirolimus, and/or a pre-transplant donor-specific transfusion (DST). Therapy was withdrawn after 3 months. Triple therapy prevented rejection during therapy in all animals and led to operational tolerance in three of five animals including donor-specific skin graft acceptance in the two animals tested. IDEC-131, sirolimus and DST are highly effective in preventing renal allograft rejection in primates. This apparently clinically applicable regimen is promising for human renal transplant trials.     

小脑后下动脉动脉瘤的诊断和治疗

目的探讨小脑后下动脉动脉瘤的临床特征、诊断、鉴别诊断和治疗。方法回顾性分析12例小脑后下动脉瘤的临床表现、影像学特征、手术效果及诊治过程中存在的相关问题。结果12例中有11例因动脉瘤破裂出血而发病,单纯第四脑室出血4例,全脑室系统出血2例,小脑半球出血3例,小脑蚓部伴第四脑室出血1例,侧脑室伴第三脑室出血1例,以后颅窝占位病变表现1例。8例术前行DSA检查明确诊断,4例术中明确诊断。12例均行后颅窝开颅显微手术治疗,其中动脉瘤颈夹闭9例,孤立切除2例,动脉瘤加固术1例,术后2例因脑积水加重行脑室-腹腔分流术。12例中除1例术后留有轻偏瘫外,其余11例恢复良好。结论小脑后下动脉瘤多以第四脑室出血发病,少数以小脑半球或蚓部出血发病,及早治疗效果满意。手术方式应尽量夹闭动脉瘤颈,对于小脑后下动脉末端动脉瘤,可以采用孤立切除术。     

Sputum drainage by ultrasonic nebulization and the diagnosis of pulmonary carcinoma]

From June 1984 to June 1989, the sputum drain age by ultrasonic nebulization was done in 1155 cases of suspected lung cancer. From 286 positive cases, 157 (54.9%) were confirmed to be pulmonary cancer histologically. The general cytological and histological identification coincidence rate is 86%.
