Terminal non-reducing position of GalUA residue in the R core region of P. mirabilis R110 (Ra)mutant was established by GLC/MS analysis of methylated degraded polysaccharide. This position of GalUA is exceptional as compared with the terminal constituents present in the known structures of R core polysaccharides in Enterobacteriaceae. As it was shown in serological study, GalUA does not play a role of immunodominant in the examined Proteus R core region.  相似文献

The oligosaccharides isolated as products of phage "otto" provoked degradation of LPS provided by the host strain P. mirabilis 1959 were investigated. The site of phage mediated hydrolysis was shown to be the linkage 1,4(2) between galactosamine and glucuronic acid in the main chain of O-specific polysaccharide. The pentasaccharide (with one lysine residue) represents one phage cleaved repeating unit in the O-specific polysaccharide P. mirabilis 1959.  相似文献

Some biological features of a deep P. mirabilis 17301 R mutant isolated from the urine of a patient with chronic UTI were studied and compared with similar features of P. mirabilis S forms and five induced Proteus R mutants of different chemotypes. There were no differences in lethal toxicity and adhesion to human uroepithelial cells. Of all the R mutants tested, two of them, 17301 and R4, exhibited strong cell-bound hemolytic activity. The P. mirabilis R 17301 was characterized as the most invasive (tested in L929 mouse fibroblasts) compared to the other Proteus S and R forms. The structure of PS from a clinical R mutant investigated and the results of serological studies prove that this mutant belongs to the Rc chemotype.  相似文献

Questions of preoperative diagnosis of the place of the disturbance of the normal heart excitation, spread of this excitation and distribution of places of the most frequent disposition of these foci in the heart depending on the pathology of the process are discussed. Sixty six patients with different kinds of tachicardia were examined, 40 patients were operated upon under conditions of artificial blood circulation. The examination of patients was performed by both routine and special methods (such as electrophysiological examination with the registration of 9 points of different parts of the heart simultaneously).  相似文献
