A fluorescence confocal microscopy technique was employed to obtain subsurface images of nerve and microvascular structure in the vas deferens and colon of the living rat. The use of dual labelling with vital dyes and 2-channel confocal acquisition allowed differentiation of microscopic structure at both low and higher magnification. Characteristic staining patterns of nerves and blood vessels were repeatedly obtained in each tissue, suggesting the potential of this technique for studying morphological changes associated with surgical procedures and/or models of neuronal or vascular pathology. 相似文献

Expression of total T- and B-population, T-subpopulation lymphocyte receptors and secretion of IgM, IgG and IgA were measured in 112 patients with diffuse purulent peritonitis and 81 healthy donors. Expression of receptors was correlated with the disease severity identified by leukocytic index of intoxication (LII). The latter appeared to accurately reflect the pattern of immunological impairment. Reduced absolute and proportional values of total pools of T-, B-cells and T-helpers, but elevated ones of T-suppressors and T-amplifiers occurred in LII less than 2.0. In LII greater than 7.0 there was total suppression of all the cellular populations due to deep lymphopenia. At the terminal stage of peritonitis paralysis of T-helper receptors and B-cells went in parallel with high secretion of serum immunoglobulins. 相似文献

Under observation there were 174 patients with purulent wounds, 54 of them were treated with application of 0.06% solution of sodium hypochlorite, and 20 patients made up a control group and were treated by traditional methods. It was found that the application of the solution of sodium hypochlorite results in sharp elevation of susceptibility of wound microflora to antibiotics and facilitates more rapid debridement of the wounds and makes the treatment at the hospital 3.7 and 2.4 times shorter correspondingly (as compared with the control group). 相似文献

Different stages of B lymphoid maturation were identified in normal bone marrow using multiple cell surface markers. The proliferation status of each of these maturational stages was determined by simultaneous quantitative DNA analysis on a flow cytometer. The technique used to quantify these parameters preserved the cell surface immunofluorescence, the light scattering properties and the stoichiometric binding to DNA. The proliferating cells were confined to a distinct population of cells expressing CD10. The number of proliferating cells in these populations was relatively constant among 12 separate bone marrow samples. The data suggest that the timing and rate of proliferation of cells within a single lineage may be a preprogrammed aspect of normal maturation. 相似文献
