In this case report, orthodontic intervention was used to move the gingival margin of a maxillary canine incisally by almost 9 mm to mimic a lateral incisor. Increasing the thickness of the labial plate of bone of the canine and subsequently increasing the thickness of the attached gingiva before extrusion prevented gingival recession at a later stage. In many situations, orthodontic treatment can achieve results that could not be attained by restorations and other means of cosmetic dentistry, especially when dealing with gingival margins and gingival height. Objective: To prepare hydroxyapatite cement (or calcium phosphate cement,CPC) and analyze its capability. Methods: Tetracalcium phospluge (TTCP ) was prepared by the method of high heat. TTCP reacted with in simulated body situation and produced CPC. Its capability was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy ( SEM), X-ray diffraction( XRD). Its density, absorbing water coefficient, macroporosity and compressive strength were measured also. Results: The main element of CPC is hydroxyapatile (HA), its microstructure comprised of petal crys-tals. The diameter of micropore was 4-10μm, density was 1. 922 g/cm^3, macroporosity was 29. 777%, absorbing coefficient was 15. 503%, compressive strength was 42.70 Mpa. Conclusion: This CPC has three-dimensional spatial structure, its strength meets the need of cancellous bone grafting. 相似文献

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the characteristics of Hep-2 cell with multidrug resistance (MDR) induced by Taxol. STUDY DESIGN: Hep-2 cells were exposed in stepwise escalating concentration of Taxol to develop the resistant cell line-Hep-2T. Cell cycle distribution, apoptosis, and rhodamine accumulation were studied through flow cytometry. The MDR1 and MRP1 genes were detected through real-time quantitative RT-PCR, and the corresponding proteins were detected through Western blotting. RESULTS: The drug resistance of Hep-2T cells to Taxol, doxorubicin, gemcitabine, 5-FU, and cisplatin all increased. The percentage of G0/G1 phase and the antiapoptosis ability increased significantly compared with Hep-2 cells. Both MDR1 and MRP1 also increased at gene and protein level, though MDR1 was more prominent. CONCLUSION: More emphasis should be laid on MDR1/Pgp, the non-Pgp substrate chemotherapeutic agents, and the changes of cell cycle distribution to prevent MDR induced by Taxol. 目的:观察自体干细胞动员对骨创伤大鼠的免疫功能的保护作用,为战创伤后的免疫抑制及继发性感染、系统性炎症反应等治疗提供依据。方法:挤压折断法复制大鼠双后肢股骨骨折模型,于致伤后0、24、48h连续给模型动物肌肉注射GM—CSF20μg/kg,致伤后72h细胞增殖法检测T、B淋巴细胞活性,ELISA法检测血清IL-1、IL-2、IFN-7、TNF—α浓度,自动系列化分析法检测C3、CA、IgM、IgG浓度,称重法观察脾重与体重的比例变化。结果:股骨骨折模型大鼠致伤后72h,GM—CSF动员骨髓干细胞组大鼠的T、B淋巴细胞活性和血清IFN-γ、IL-2浓度高于对照组(P〈0.01),IL-1、TNF—α浓度低于对照组(P〈0.01),血清C3、CA、IgM、IgG浓度及脾/体重比值高于对照组(P〈0.01)。结论:GM—CSF动员自体干细胞动员对大鼠骨创伤诱导的免疫功能抑制具有保护作用。 相似文献

研究补肾抗衰口服液对大鼠衰老模型免疫器官胸腺和脾脏的影响.结果显示,模型组大鼠胸腺和脾脏重量减轻,胸腺重/体重比值、脾重/体重比值减小,胸腺组织学观察,显示萎缩改变;药物组大鼠胸腺和脾脏重量、胸腺重/体重、脾重/体重比值接近正常对照组,胸腺组织学观察,未显示萎缩改变.本研究结果表明,补肾抗衰口服液能延缓胸腺和脾脏萎缩,保护机体的正常免疫功能,提示该药有抗衰老的作用. 相似文献

目的:制备水泥型羟基磷灰石人工骨,并进行性能分析。方法:高温法制备出磷酸四钙,然后在模拟体内环境下将其与无水磷酸氢钙发生水化固化反应,合成水泥型羟基磷灰石人工骨,采用X线衍射、扫描电镜观察、体积密度、吸水率、孔隙率及耐压强度测量进行性能分析。结果:该人工骨主要成分为低结晶度的羟基磷灰石;微观结构呈针状或花瓣状晶体构成,微孔直径约4-10 μm,孔隙相互交通;平均体积密度为1.922 g·cm~(-3);平均吸水率为15.503%;孔隙率为29.777%;耐压强度为42.70 MPa。结论:本研究所制人工骨具有三维空间结构,力学性能符合人体非负重骨植骨要求。 相似文献

Extracellular phospholipase A2 (PLA2) is a proinflammatory enzyme found especially in the inflammatory exudate to modulate blood flow to areas of antigen stimulation. In this study we found that PLA2 exerted a biphasic effect on the proliferation of phytohemagglutinin (PHA)-stimulated human mononuclear cells (PHA MNC). At low concentrations range from 0.001 to 1 U/ml, PLA2 enhanced the proliferation of PHA MNC (maximal increase was 37.0 +/- 5.67%). Conversely, at concentrations over 10 U/ml, PLA2 markedly suppressed the PHA-induced MNC proliferation (maximal decrease was 88.86 +/- 2.89%). PLA2 was non-toxic to lymphocytes after three days culture, unless the concentration was higher than 100 U/ml. The membrane polarization of PHA-stimulated lymphocytes was also increased by PLA2 at a low concentration. In addition, PLA2 displayed a similar effect on the proliferation of streptokinase-streptodornase (SK/SD) or allogeneic cell stimulated lymphocytes. The change of lymphocyte proliferation by PLA2, was parallel to the change of percentage of helper T cells. Furthermore--a CD4-rich population was proved more susceptible to PLA2 effect than a CD8-rich population. Para-bromophenacyl bromide (pBPB), an irreversible inhibitor of PLA2, abrogated the biphasic effect of PLA2 on PHA MNC proliferation. These results suggest that PLA2 plays a regulatory role on immune reactions by modulating the percentage of helper T cells. 相似文献
