The ability to cluster different perfusion compartments in the brain is critical for analyzing brain perfusion. This study presents a method based on a mixture of multivariate Gaussians (MoMG) and the expectation-maximization (EM) algorithm to dissect various perfusion compartments from dynamic susceptibility contrast (DSC) MR images so that each compartment comprises pixels of similar signal-time curves. This EM-based method provides an objective way to 1) delineate an area to serve as the in-plane arterial input function (AIF) of the feeding artery for adjacent tissues to better quantify the relative cerebral blood volume (rCBV), relative cerebral blood flow (rCBF), and mean transit time (MTT); 2) demarcate regions with abnormal perfusion derangement to facilitate diagnosis; and 3) obtain parametric maps with supplementary information, such as temporal scenarios and recirculation of contrast agent. Results from normal subjects show that perfusion cascade manifests (in order of appearance) the arteries, gray matter (GM), white matter (WM), veins and sinuses, and choroid plexus mixed with cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). The averaged rCBV, rCBF, and MTT ratios between GM and WM are in good agreement with those in the literature. Results from a patient with cerebral arteriovenous malformation (CAVM) showed distinct spatiotemporal characteristics between perfusion patterns, which allowed differentiation between pathological and nonpathological areas.  相似文献

目的:了解武汉市民的捐献意愿及影响不同阶层市民捐献意愿的主要因素.方法:对武汉市武昌区10个社区的居民进行随机访问,并发放问卷,然后对问卷进行对比研究分析总结.内容:法制因素、情感因素、传统观念、社会舆论等.结果:法制因素和情感因素为最显著因素.结论:武汉市对遗体捐献进行立法是非常正确的,但要想收到预期的效果还应加大遗体捐献知识的宣传普及力度.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical application of microsurgical fascia latae flaps combined with rib and skin graft for reconstruction of the distal phalanx defect. METHODS: The phalanx wounds were sutured together like syndactyly. The autologeous rib was revised to repair the bone defect of distal phalanx. The fascia latae flap was used to cover the bone exposure with microvascular anastomoses and resurfaced by a meshed split-thickness skin graft. RESULTS: 5 cases were treated successfully. The fascia latae flaps were all survived with only skin graft necrosis at the distal end in one case. It was healed spontaneously. CONCLUSIONS: The fascia latae flap is nourished by the desending branch of the lateral circumflex femoral artery. The flaps has a good blood supply and can be easily obtained with a long vascular pedicle. The flap is ideal for the reconstruction of distal phalanx defect when combined with autologeous rib implant and skin graft.  相似文献

目的 探讨在少、弱精子症中精子形态缺陷类型及其发生率.方法 对精液常规和改良巴氏染色检查的结果进行统计学分析.结果 (1)男性不育症中畸形精子症的发生率约为75%;精子头部缺陷的发生率约为70%,各种头部缺陷中空泡头畸形的发生率占首位,约为20%.(2)少精子症患者的正常形态精子百分率的中位数约为2.97%(P=0),弱精子症患者的中位数为6.67%(P=0.003).结论 (1)精子头部缺陷是精子畸形的主要类型;(2)少、弱精子症的畸形精子比例升高;(3)精子形态缺陷分析对选择辅助助孕方式具有应用价值.  相似文献

目的 总结、分析150例电视胸腔镜心血管外科手术的临床结果。方法 应用电视胸腔镜手术技术对动脉导管未闭、房间隔缺损、室间隔缺损、三尖辨关闭不全、冠状动脉-肺动脉瘘、心包积液、原发性长Q-T综合征、雷诺病,心包囊肿等进行治疗。结果 动脉导管未闭均成功在胸腔镜下钳闭;房缺、室缺在胸腔镜体外循环下进行补片修补,冠状动脉瘘胸腔镜下修补;心包积液进行心包活检与开窗引流;长Q-T综合征进行胸腔镜下左T2、T3胸交感神经节切除,均无严重并发症,术后患者恢复良好。结论 电视胸腔镜心血管外科手术可取得满意的临床治疗结果。  相似文献

目的 了解复治肺结核病人形成原因和耐药状况,分析结核病控制策略的效果。方法 分析1999年湖北省耐药监测入选238例复治涂阳培阳病例既往病史和耐药状况;药敏试验采用比例法,培养基中药物浓度分别为S 4μg/ml、H 0.2μg/ml、R 40μg/ml和E 2μg/ml;结果 总耐药率为44.5%,耐多药率为21.8%,在综合医院、乡镇卫生院和结防专业机构治疗造成的耐药率和耐多药率(含H和R)分别为56.4%、31.3%、46.3%和30.8%、15.0%、20.8%。结论 治疗不规范是导致耐药率和耐多药率升高的原因,建议加强结核病人归口、化疗和全程督导管理,进一步完善结核病控制策略,减少复治病例和耐药的产生。  相似文献

目的 观察亚低温(33℃)对大鼠短暂性脑缺血后神经元的保护作用。方法 32只DS大鼠分为假手术组、常温缺血组和即刻亚低温组,采用尼氏体亚甲蓝特殊染色观察存活神经元、原位细胞凋亡检测法(TUNEL染色)检测及电镜观察脑缺血后大鼠CA1区神经元凋亡情况。结果 与假手术组相比,常温缺血组海马CA1区存活的锥体细胞数目减少(P<0.01);与常温缺血组相比,亚低温缺血组海马CA1区存活的锥体细胞数目明显增多(P<0.01)。亚低温缺血组大鼠海马CA1区TUNEL染色阳性细胞数目明显少于常温缺血组(P<0.01)。结论 脑缺血后迟发性神经元死亡很可能通过凋亡途径,亚低温对缺血后神经元的保护作用与减少神经元凋亡有关。  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: To study the relationship of serum iron and ferritin with the indicators for hepatic fibrosis and hepatic iron overload. METHODS: Liver tissue specimens were obtained from 41 patients with benign (16) or malignant (25) liver diseases by 1 second liver biopsy, and routine microscopic examination was performed after haematoxylin-eosin (HE) and Perl's Prussian staining. Atomic absorption spectrum, radioimmunoassay and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay were respectively employed to examine the serum levels of iron, ferritin, hyaluronic acid, laminin, human procollagen type , and collagen type . RESULTS: Between patients with benign and malignant liver diseases, significant differences were found in the serum ferritin levels (P < 0.05), but not in serum iron levels (P > 0.05). It was also noted that the levels of the indicators for hepatic fibrosis in patients with benign and early-stage malignant diseases varied significantly from the levels in normal subjects, but these differences were not observed between normal subjects and patients with end-stage hepatic malignancies. Serum iron and ferritin were found to be associated with serum laminin levels (serum iron: r=0.439, P=0.031; serum ferritin: r=0.476, P=0.016), and no iron granules detected in the tissue specimens of hepatocellular carcinoma. CONCLUSIONS: Most of the patients with hepatocellular carcinoma have elevated serum ferritin levels. The serum levels of iron and ferritin are statistically correlated with serum laminin level. Obvious reduction of iron content is typical of hepatic malignant tissues in comparison with the benign tissues, and the reduction in the levels of the indicators for hepatic fibrosis might involve the inhibition of collagen synthesis in the tumor tissues from patients with end-stage hepatocellular carcinoma. Most of the cases of alcoholic fatty liver are complicated by liver iron overload, often marked by serum iron and ferritin levels.  相似文献

It has been suggested that apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) contrast can be sensitive to cerebral blood flow (CBF) changes during brain activation. However, current ADC imaging techniques have an inherently low temporal resolution due to the requirement of multiple acquisitions with different b-factors, as well as potential confounds from cross talk between the deoxyhemoglobin-induced background gradients and the externally applied diffusion-weighting gradients. In this report a new method is proposed and implemented that addresses these two limitations. Specifically, a single-shot pulse sequence that sequentially acquires one gradient-echo (GRE) and two diffusion-weighted spin-echo (SE) images was developed. In addition, the diffusion-weighting gradient waveform was numerically optimized to null the cross terms with the deoxyhemoglobin-induced background gradients to fully isolate the effect of diffusion weighting from that of oxygenation-level changes. The experimental results show that this new single-shot method can acquire ADC maps with sufficient signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and establish its practical utility in functional MRI (fMRI) to complement the blood oxygenation level-dependent (BOLD) technique and provide differential sensitivity for different vasculatures to better localize neural activity originating from the small vessels.  相似文献
