三门峡市湖滨区2007年人群死因统计及寿命分析

[目的]了解三门峡市湖滨区2007的人口死因情况,为疾病预防控制提供研究信息.[方法]死因编码采用ICD-10分类,用Excel 2003对全人群死因资料进行统计分析,用现时寿命表计算期望寿命.[结果]三门峡市湖滨区2007年总体死亡率为604.55/10万,男性死亡率648.41/10万,女性死亡率552.56/10万,死因居前3位的分别是循环系统疾病、恶性肿瘤和呼吸系统疾病,人群期望寿命为74.75岁,去肿瘤人群期望寿命为78.11岁.[结论]循环系统疾病、恶性肿瘤和呼吸系统疾病以及意外伤害死亡是三门峡市湖滨区2007年的主要死因.     

Cranioplasty with custom made alloplastic prosthetic implant: A case report

Cranial defects often occur due to trauma. The treatment of such defects is a challenge to the skill and knowledge of the practitioner. This article presents one such case, where a 15-year-old boy had suffered extensive loss of the right cranium following a road traffic accident. The patient required rehabilitation of the right fronto-temporal cranial anatomy and was managed using a custom made heat polymerized acrylic alloplastic implant.     

Short report: the effect of omeprazole on Helicobacter pylori and associated gastritis

Twenty-one patients with endoscopically confirmed duodenal ulceration, who had failed to heal with an H2-antagonist, were given omeprazole 20 mg o.m. for four weeks. Four antral biopsies from each patient were taken at endoscopy before, at the end of, and four weeks after treatment. Rapid urease test, culture, histopathology and transmission electron microscopy were carried out on these biopsies to determine the presence of Helicobacter pylori and improvement of gastritis. After four weeks of treatment, duodenal ulceration was healed in 16 (79%) of the patients; H. pylori was not detected by culture in 11 (50%) of the patients, and the associated gastritis improved in 12 (54%) patients. Four weeks after cessation of treatment the organism was cultured from antral biopsies of 18 (86%) of the patients and all of these had gastritis. Omeprazole treatment healed duodenal ulceration, improved gastritis temporarily, and suppressed but did not eradicate H. pylori.     

Dietary factors and the risk of psoriasis. Results of an Italian case–control study

Summary We have conducted a case-control study to explore the relation between the consumption of selected foods and psoriasis. The out-patient services of nine teaching hospitals and five general hospitals in northern and southern Italy took part. Cases were newly diagnosed psoriatics with a history of skin problems of no more than 2 years. As controls. we selected subjects with newly diagnosed skin conditions, other than psoriasis, who were seen in the same out-patient clinics. Inclusion of cases and controls was limited to the age group 16–65 years. A total of 316 psoriatics and 366 controls were recruited. Anthropomentric measures, including height and weight, were obtained. Diet was assessed by a semiquantitative food frequency questionnaire. Psoriasis appeared to be positively associated with body mass index (X²₁ trend 4.3, P < 0.05). Significant inverse relations with psoriasis were also observed for the intake of carrots (X²₁ trend 4.8, P < 0.05), tomatoes (X²₁ trend 26.3, P < 0.01), fresh fruit (X²₁ trend 11.7, P < 0.01) and index of beta-carotene intake (X²₁ trend 9.1, P < 0.01). Although largely explorative, these results provide some evidence for a potential role of diet in psoriasis.     

大骨节病病区粮对实验动物软骨氨基多糖代谢的影响

用大骨节病病区粮喂养的实验动物出现明显的氨基多糖代谢障碍。表现为实验动物尿硫酸软骨素排泄量升高,软骨硫酸软骨素含量下降,尿硫酸软骨素荷电量减少。这些硫酸软骨素的变化规律与大骨节病人所见完全相同。推测用病区粮喂养的实验动物所引起的代谢紊乱,很可能是大骨节病人较早期的代谢受损表现。     

Inverted Y ureter anomaly and associated distal yo-yo phenomenon

Duplication of the distal ureter is a very rare anomaly. A case is reported here in which the lower ectopic limb of the duplicated distal ureter presents with a ureterocele, and shows a different pattern of backflow.     

Basal Cell Carcinoma-Signet Ring Type

Light microscopic examination of a basalioma (basal cell carcinoma) revealed unusual keratinizing cells resembling signet ring cells with pink cytoplasmic inclusions. Ultrastructurally the inclusions consisted of filamentous masses encircled by abundant tonofilaments giving a striking picture of abnormal individual tumor cell keratinization.
