Summary Fowl plague virus and Sendai virus were disrupted by Tween 20 in an alcaline medium. Whereas in the case of fowl plague virus sedimentation of the ribonucleoprotein (BNP) in sucrose gradients revealed three components sedimenting at 64S, 58S, and 48S, the RNP of Sendai virus showed a sedimentation coefficient of 110S only. During buoyant density studies in CsCl the three components of fowl plague virus RNP banded at the uniform density of 1.35–1.36 g/cm3 and the RNP of Sendai virus was found at a medium density of 1.32 g/cm3.  相似文献

Tuberculosis is the greatest single carise of death in China. This is only an opinion; yet it is hardly probable that anyone would care to qUestion it. .Fifty years ago it was''true for almost the whold world. Then 500 deaths annually from Wberculosis per 100,000 people was no unusual rate, and is probably. not far from the actual rate for COma today. In those countries where efforts have been macle to- combat it by raethods in harmony with knowledge of its etiology, epidemiology and treatment, there has been a consistent fall in the death rate. Visual search, characterized by eye fixation patterns, was examined in 8 patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD), 8 cognitively intact, age-matched individuals, and 8 young control participants as they searched for a number among a nonlinear array of letters on a large computer screen. Among the 3 groups, target detection accuracy differed and detection time increased linearly. There were more fixations, and fixation duration was significantly longer in the AD patients than in the other 2 groups. These factors contributed to the lengthening of target detection time. This qualitative difference in the architecture of visual search between AD and aging may reflect a specific deficit in the disengagement of visual spatial attention, a prolongation of saccade initiation, or inefficiency in planning a search strategy.  相似文献
