This paper discusses the applicability of optical and vibrational spectroscopies for the identification and characterization of the T-2 mycotoxin. Vibrational states and electronic structure of the T-2 toxin molecules are simulated using a density-functional quantum-mechanical approach. A numerical experiment aimed at comparing the predicted structural, vibrational and electronic properties of the T-2 toxin with analogous characteristics of the structurally similar 3-deacetylcalonectrin is performed, and the characteristic spectral features that can be used as fingerprints of the T-2 toxin are determined. It is shown that theoretical studies of the structure and spectroscopic features of trichothecene molecules facilitate the development of methods for the detection and characterization of the metabolites.  相似文献

The outcomes of supplementation with L-carnosine have been investigated in clinical trials in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). However, reports on the effects of L-carnosine in humans have been inconsistent, and the efficacy of L-carnosine supplementation for improving ASD symptoms has yet to be investigated in animal studies. Here, we examined the effects of oral supplementation with L-carnosine on social deficits in CD157KO mice, a murine model of ASD. Social deficits in CD157KO mice were assessed using a three-chamber social approach test. Oral supplementation with L-carnosine attenuated social behavioral deficits. The number of c-Fos-positive oxytocin neurons in the supraoptic nucleus and paraventricular nucleus was increased with L-carnosine supplementation in CD157KO mice after the three-chamber social approach test. We observed an increase in the number of c-Fos-positive neurons in the basolateral amygdala, a brain region involved in social behavior. Although the expression of oxytocin and oxytocin receptors in the hypothalamus was not altered by L-carnosine supplementation, the concentration of oxytocin in cerebrospinal fluid was increased in CD157KO mice by L-carnosine supplementation. These results suggest that L-carnosine supplementation restores social recognition impairments by augmenting the level of released oxytocin. Thus, we could imply the possibility of a safe nutritional intervention for at least some types of ASD in the human population.  相似文献

The work presents results of the surgical treatment of patients with a toxic goiter depending on the initial status of the immune reactivity. It was shown that recurrent thyrotoxicosis or the development of hypothyreosis occurred in patients with the disturbed immune status more frequently. A conclusion is made that the immune disorders should be corrected in patients with diffuse toxic goiters during the preoperative period in order to improve results of the surgical treatment.  相似文献

On the experimental model of denervation-reinnervation syndrome of mouse shank muscles neurotrophic effects of jashaltinsky medicinal mud were studied. In experimental mice therapeutic mud has been applied on the small back, tail and rib areas of the body 10 days after nerve crushing. On day 11 after nerve crushing a stable reproduction of a compound nerve action potential with constant amplitude was revealed in repetitive (50 Hz) nerve stimulation.  相似文献

135 patients aged 18 to 55 years with cicatrical alterations in the larynx were under observation. The treatment included phonophoresis of contractubex, colitin and elastolytin. The study found the necessity to take into account the age of cicatrical deformations when treating them. The most effective in treatment of formation cicatrices (6 to 12 days old) are medicines containing heparin (contractubex), which prevent the formation of pathologic cicatrices (keloid and hypertrophic ones). After the formation of the cicatrice is completed, medicines containing enzymes are more effective, because these "garnet" collagen and thus favor the mechanism of the reversion of pathologic cicatrical formation.  相似文献
