The Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL) Working Party on Portal Hypertension has developed consensus guidelines on the disease profile, diagnosis, and management of noncirrhotic portal fibrosis and idiopathic portal hypertension. The consensus statements, prepared and deliberated at length by the experts in this field, were presented at the annual meeting of the APASL at Kyoto in March 2007. This article includes the statements approved by the APASL along with brief backgrounds of various aspects of the disease.  相似文献

The synthesis of Ag-nanoparticle-decorated CdMoO4 and its photocatalytic activity towards hydrogen generation under sunlight has been demonstrated. The CdMoO4 samples were synthesized by a simple hydrothermal approach in which Ag nanoparticles were in situ decorated on the surface of CdMoO4. A morphological study showed that 5 nm spherical Ag nanoparticles were homogeneously distributed on the surface of CdMoO4 particles. The UV/DRS spectra show that the band gap of CdMoO4 was narrowed by the incorporation of a small amount of Ag nanoparticles. The surface plasmonic effect of Ag shows broad absorption in the visible region. The enhanced photocatalytic hydrogen production activities of all the samples were evaluated by using methanol as a sacrificial reagent in water under natural sunlight conditions. The results suggest that the rate of photocatalytic hydrogen production using CdMoO4 can be significantly improved by loading 2% Ag nanoparticles: i.e. 2465 μmol h−1 g−1 for a 15 mg catalyst. The strong excitation of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) absorption by the Ag nanoparticles was found in the Ag-loaded samples. In this system, the role of Ag nanoparticles on the surface of CdMoO4 has been discussed. In particular, the SPR effect is responsible for higher hydrogen evolution under natural sunlight because of broad absorption in the visible region. The current study could provide new insights for designing metal/semiconductor interface systems to harvest solar light for solar fuel generation.

Purpose:To estimate prevalence of common ocular morbidities including color blindness among school-attending children of an urban foothill town of Uttarakhand State in Northern India.Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted among school-going children of age group 6–16 years of standard I–XII. Schools were selected using population proportionate to the size sampling technique. Detailed ocular examination including color vision and unaided or aided visual acuity for various ocular morbidities was done. Data was entered into MS excel with statistical analysis using SPSS version 23 with significant P value <0.05.Results:In total, 13,492 students (mean age 10.9 ± 2.7 years) with almost equal male to female ratio were screened. Overall prevalence of ocular morbidity was 23.2%, with refractive error (18.5%) on top, followed by color blindness (2.2%). The later was observed more among males (3.0%) as compared to females (1.4%) with significantly higher odds, OR = 2.3 (1.7–2.9) (P < 0.001).Conclusion:Refractive error has been the most common ocular morbidity, followed by color blindness. Earliest detection can prevent permanent disability and disappointment among youngsters when rejected from entering certain professions due to color vision defect.  相似文献

BackgroundDrilling the femoral and tibial tunnels at their anatomical locations are critical for good outcomes and involve seeing the footprints well. We intended to compare two techniques of drilling the tunnels and the patient-reported outcomes and knee stability of patients undergoing single bundle ACL reconstruction using 3D CT to evaluate if the tunnels were anatomical or not.Materials and MethodsSixty single bundle ACL reconstructions were analyzed, 30 each with Technique A and B. Pre-operative and after a minimum 27 month follow-up Lysholm, IKDC, Tegner score, hop test, and Lachman test were noted. 3D CT was done to classify femoral tunnels positions as being well placed, slightly or grossly misplaced and tibial tunnels as optimal or suboptimal and compared.ResultsSixty ACL reconstructions had full follow-up with a mean follow-up of 34 months. There was no significant difference between tunnel positions between the two techniques. Well-placed femoral tunnel had better Lysholm score (62.2 ± 16.2 v/s 48.5 ± 17.2, p 0.002) and IKDC score (62.5 ± 14.3 v/s 52.7 ± 15.1, p 0.012).). Those who had their surgeries within 3 months of their injury had better hop test (4.4 ± 0.9 v/s 3.9 ± 1, p 0.034) and IKDC scores (62.5 ± 15.8 v/s 33.2 ± 13.8, p 0.026) as compared to those that had surgery done after 3 monthsConclusionTibial tunnel positions were optimal in most cases and did not differ between the two techniques. Well-placed femoral tunnels and surgeries done within 3 months of the injury produced best results.  相似文献

The fabrication with high energy density and superior electrical/electrochemical properties of hierarchical porous 3D cross-linked graphene-based supercapacitors is one of the most urgent challenges for developing high-power energy supplies. We facilely synthesized a simple, eco-friendly, cost-effective heteroatoms (nitrogen, phosphorus, and fluorine) co-doped graphene oxide (NPFG) reduced by hydrothermal functionalization and freeze-drying approach with high specific surface areas and hierarchical pore structures. The effect of different heteroatoms doping on the energy storage performance of the synthesized reduced graphene oxide is investigated extensively. The electrochemical analysis performed in a three-electrode system via cyclic voltammetry (CV), galvanostatic charging–discharging (GCD), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) demonstrates that the nitrogen, phosphorous, and fluorine co-doped graphene (NPFG-0.3) synthesized with the optimum amount of pentafluoropyridine and phytic acid (PA) exhibits a notably enhanced specific capacitance (319 F g−1 at 0.5 A g−1), good rate capability, short relaxation time constant (τ = 28.4 ms), and higher diffusion coefficient of electrolytic cations (Dk+ = 8.8261 × 10−9 cm2 s−1) in 6 M KOH aqueous electrolyte. The density functional theory (DFT) calculation result indicates that the N, F, and P atomic replacement within the rGO model could increase the energy value (GT) from −673.79 eV to −643.26 eV, demonstrating how the atomic level energy could improve the electrochemical reactivity with the electrolyte. The improved performance of NPFG-0.3 over NFG, PG, and pure rGO is mainly ascribed to the fast-kinetic process owing to the well-balanced electron/ion transport phenomenon. A symmetric coin cell supercapacitor device fabricated using NPFG-0.3 as the anode and cathode material with 6 M KOH aqueous electrolyte exhibits maximum specific energy of 38 W h kg−1, a maximum specific power of 716 W kg−1, and ∼88.2% capacitance retention after 10 000 cycles. The facile synthesis approach and promising electrochemical results suggest this synthesized NPFG-0.3 material has high potential for future supercapacitor application.
