端视ICP—AES法测定尿中Pb,Mn,Cd,As,Se,Cr,Be,Ni,Cu,Zn等微量元素

Alt, krank, arbeitslos, chancenlos?

Illness can be the cause and consequence of unemployment. These relationships are well documented but only few data on the effectiveness of interventions are available. The study examines the effectiveness of a combined health and employment promotion intervention (AmigA - currently projected in several sites in Germany) for the older long-term unemployed with the main goals of an improvement of health and integrability as well as sustainable reintegration into the labour market. The evaluation design is a randomised controlled trial with a multi-method approach. A total of 71 participants could be included in the evaluation. Initial results confirm earlier findings on health and unemployment and show a psychologically and physically highly burdened sample. The intervention tended to improve depression, self-efficacy and quality of life. No effects were found for physical health, integrability and sustainable reintegration. It is discussed whether a longer duration and a higher intensity of the intervention might produce better results. The necessity of help and interventions for this highly burdened group of persons is evident but further studies are necessary to decide if the evaluated intervention is adequate to reach the goals of health and employment promotion as a standard measure.     

体重与血压,血糖,血脂,血尿酸关系初探

为探讨高校知识分子各年龄段的标准体重及其与血压、血糖、血脂、血尿酸的关系，在排除可能的影响因素后，对535名知识分子健康普查样本进行统计分析。结果显示，男女BMI和SBP、DBP、FPG、TC、HDLC、TG、UA值随年龄递升而增加，但男性FPG、TG、UA至老年期有回落现象，存在有显著性差异（P＜0．01）；SBP、OBP、FPG、TC、TG、UA随BMI增加而增加，存在正相关关系（P＜0．05或＜0．01），HDL－C随BMI增加而减低，存在负相关关系（P＜0．05或＜0．01），其相关关系可被高龄、肥胖所掩盖。     

Educators, advisors, therapists? Youth, sexuality, and social intervention

Sexual and reproductive health programs directed at youth have a recent history, related to international politics, especially the International Conference on Population and Development in Cairo, which in 1994 recommended specific services for adolescents and proposed to reduce substantially the pregnancies in this social group. This effort is an opportunity to consider young people as citizens with rights, or also as new clients and health consumers. In this article, we analyze how this conflict is addressed in the Sexual and reproductive health programs, and the limits and range of the mediating role played by civil employees who carry out health interventions, specially when they enter into relationships with other agents of socialization of adolescents (fathers, mothers, educators, etc.), but also with the public health system. In this field we identified the predominant perspectives of social intervention that seeks to direct and structure the possible field of action of youth in sexual matters. These perspectives emphasize individual responsibility in relation to self care and articulate very well with the effective model of health, based on market rationality.     

Encephalitis,Ontario, Canada, 2002–2013

Encephalitis, a brain inflammation leading to severe illness and often death, is caused by >100 pathogens. To assess the incidence and trends of encephalitis in Ontario, Canada, we obtained data on 6,463 Ontario encephalitis hospitalizations from the hospital Discharge Abstract Database for April 2002–December 2013 and analyzed these data using multiple negative binomial regression. The estimated crude incidence of all-cause encephalitis in Ontario was ≈4.3 cases/100,000 persons/year. Incidence rates for infants <1 year of age and adults >65 years were 3.9 and 3.0 times that of adults 20–44 years of age, respectively. Incidence peaks during August–September in 2002 and 2012 resulted primarily from encephalitis of unknown cause and viral encephalitis. Encephalitis occurred more frequently in older age groups and less frequently in women in Ontario when compared to England, but despite differences in population, vector-borne diseases, climate, and geography, the epidemiology was overall remarkably similar in the two regions.
