The purpose of this study was to biochemically compare the decalcifying effects of 1% EDTA (pH 7.4), 1% EGTA (pH 7.4), 1% CDTA (pH 7.4), 1% citric acid solutions (pH 1.0 and 7.4) and saline solution (control) on root dentin. Forty-eight single-rooted teeth were used in this study. The canals were instrumented by the step-back technique and the roots were randomly divided into six equal experimental groups (n = 8) according to the irrigating agent tested. A total of 30 microL of each solution was pipetted into the root canal and allowed to set undisturbed for 5 minutes. After this time, 15 microL of the solutions were removed from each canal using a Hamilton syringe and placed in a container with 5 mL of deionised water. The microg/mL concentration of calcium ion (Ca2+) extracted from the root canal samples was determined using inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). Data were analysed by means of the Kruskal-Wallis and Mood's median tests. Citric acid solution at pH 1.0 removed more calcium than at pH 7.4 and than the other chelating solutions tested (p < 0.05). No differences were observed between EDTA and EGTA. Both EDTA and EGTA removed significantly more calcium than CDTA and citric acid at pH 7.4 (p < 0.05). There were no differences between citric acid at pH 7.4 and saline solution, which had the least efficacy for Ca2+ extraction (p > 0.05). These results indicate that citric acid at pH 1.0 is a good alternative as an irrigating solution to remove the smear layer and facilitate the biomechanical procedures.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of endodontic irrigants in removing the smear layer from instrumented root canal walls using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The endodontic irrigants used were: 1% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl); 1% NaOCl mixed to 17% EDTAC; 2% chlorhexidine gel; and Ricinus communis gel. Photomicrographs of the middle and apical thirds were evaluated with the aid of the Fotoscore - v. 2.0 software. The results indicated that the mixture of sodium hypochlorite and EDTAC completely removed the smear layer from dentinal walls. The other endodontic irrigants were not as efficient in cleansing the root canals.  相似文献

The root canals of 30 extracted human teeth with single canals were prepared biomechanically with hand instruments using a flaring technique. Three different irrigation regimes were used, with and without ultrasonic activation of a root canal file. The six irrigation sequences used in this study were as follows: Savlon, Savlon with ultrasound, EDTAC/NaOCl/EDTAC, EDTAC/NaOCl/EDTAC with ultrasound, NaOCl/EDTAC/NaOCl, and NaOCl/EDTAC/NaOCl with ultrasound. Scanning electron microscopic (SEM) examination of the prepared root canal walls showed a complete smear layer when Savlon was used. Ultrasound reduced the amount of smear with Savlon, but did not do so significantly with the other irrigation regimes. The most effective irrigation regime for removing smear layer and other debris was EDTAC/NaOCl/EDTAC. In all groups there was a significant decrease in cleaning efficiency as the apical end of the canal was approached.  相似文献

Various methods are used to evaluate irrigants. The primary aim was to develop a model for preliminary testing of potential irrigants. The second aim was to investigate the effect of bicarbonate soda on smear layer by comparing it with ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid with cetrimide (EDTAC) and sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl). Extracted human single‐canal teeth were halved, and a uniform filing method was used to create smear layer. The following solutions were then applied – distilled water (control), 1% NaOCl, 17% EDTAC and bicarbonate soda at concentrations of 1%, 5%, 10% and 15%. Some samples had multiple solutions in different sequences. Samples were examined by scanning electron microscopy. Representative images were scored based on the degree of smear layer remaining. Results were analysed with the SAS system, using the GENMOD procedure. Complete smear layer was found in samples treated with all solutions except EDTAC used alone. There were no significant differences between the sequences, EDTAC/NaOCl/EDTAC and NaOCl/EDTAC/NaOCl. There were no significant differences between groups with and without bicarbonate soda. In conclusion, the model was effective for testing chemical effects on solutions on smear layer. Bicarbonate soda did not remove smear layer and provided no additional cleaning effects after EDTAC and NaOCl.  相似文献

This study used scanning electron microscopy to evaluate the flattened root canals of human mandibular incisors cleaned with nickel-titanium instruments and different chemical substances. Teeth were selected and divided randomly into five groups (n = 10) according to the chemical substances used in the biomechanical preparation: 5.25% sodium hypochlorite (Group 1), 5.25% sodium hypochlorite plus a final irrigation with 17% EDTAC (Group 2), EDTA gel combined with 5.25% sodium hypochlorite (Group 3), 2% chlorhexidine gel (Group 4), and 5.25% sodium hypochlorite combined with Glyde File Prep gel (Group 5). Data analysis showed a statistically significant difference (p < 0.001) among groups. Groups 1 and 5 were similar statistically (p > 0.001) and displayed a higher amount of smear layer on canal walls. Samples from Groups 2, 3, and 4 revealed root canal walls without smear layer and exposed dentin tubules. Among the associations tested in this study, 5.25% sodium hypochlorite solution combined with 17% EDTAC, 5.25% sodium hypochlorite combined with EDTA gel, and 2% chlorhexidine gel all were effective substances for removing the smear layer from flattened root canals.  相似文献

The effect of EDTAC (ethylenediamine tetra-acetic acid plus Cetavion, an ammonium surfactant), CDTA (cyclohexane-1,2-diaminetetra-acetic acid), and EGTA (ethylene glycol-bis-(beta-amino-ethyl ether) N,N,N',N'-tetra-acetic acid) on the microhardness of radicular dentin of the cervical third of human teeth was studied. Five newly extracted maxillary incisors were sectioned transversely at the cementoenamel junction, and the crowns were discarded. The roots were embedded in blocks of high-speed polymerized acrylic resin and cut transversely into 1-mm sections. The second slice of the cervical third of the root of each tooth was sectioned and divided into four parts. Each part was placed on an acrylic disc that was used as a base for microhardness measurement. Fifty microliters of 15% EDTAC, 1% CDTA, or 1% EGTA were applied to the dentin surface. Deionized and distilled water was used as control. Dentin microhardness was then measured with a Vicker's microhardness apparatus with a load of 50 g for 15 s. Statistical analysis showed that the three chelating solutions significantly reduced dentin microhardness when compared with water; however, there was no statistically significant difference among the three solutions.  相似文献

Laser enhancement of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid with cetrimide (EDTAC) has previously been shown to increase removal of smear layer, for middle‐infrared erbium lasers. This study evaluated the efficiency of EDTAC activation using a near‐infrared‐pulsed 940 nm laser delivered by plain fibre tips into 15% EDTAC or 3% hydrogen peroxide. Root canals in 4 groups of 10 single roots were prepared using rotary files, with controls for the presence and absence of smear layer. After laser treatment (80 mJ pulse?1, 50 Hz, 6 cycles of 10 s), roots were split and the apical, middle and coronal thirds of the canal were examined using scanning electron microscopy, with the area of dentine tubules determined by a validated quantitative image analysis method. Lasing EDTAC considerably improved smear layer removal, while lasing into peroxide gave minimal smear layer removal. The laser protocol used was more effective for smear layer removal than the ‘gold standard’ protocol using EDTAC with sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl). In addition, lasers may also provide a benefit through photothermal disinfection. Further research is needed to optimise irrigant activation protocols using near‐infrared diode lasers of other wavelengths.  相似文献

AIM: The effects of three endodontic irrigants and two types of laser on a smear layer created by hand instrumentation were evaluated in vitro in the middle and apical thirds of root canals. METHODOLOGY: Sixty human mature extracted mandibular premolar teeth with a single root canal and a closed apex were distributed randomly into five groups of 12 teeth each. Whilst cleaning and shaping up to a size 60 master apical file with a step-back technique, the root canals were irrigated with 3 mL of 5.25% NaOCL and 3% H2O2, alternately, between each file size. Group 1 (G1) were control specimens that were irrigated with a final flush of 17% EDTA. The teeth in group 2 (G2) were irrigated with a final flush of 6% phosphoric acid, and group 3 (G3) with 6% citric acid. In the specimens of group 4 (G4) the root canals were irradiated with a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser, and specimens of group 5 (G5) were irradiated using an Er:YAG laser. The teeth were split longitudinally and prepared for examination by scanning electron microscopy. RESULTS: Control specimens (G1) showed clean root-canal walls with open dentinal tubules in the middle one-third, but in some specimens thick smear layer was observed in the apical one-third. Specimens irrigated with a final flush of 6% phosphoric acid (G2) or 6% citric acid (G3) were cleaner than with 17% EDTA, showing very clean root canal surfaces in the middle one-third but in the apical one-third the smear layer was not completely removed, especially at the openings of the dentinal tubules. The specimens irradiated with the CO2 laser (G4) showed clean root-canal walls with the smear layer absent, charred, melted, recrystallized and glazed in both middle and apical thirds. The root-canal walls of the specimens irradiated with the Er:YAG laser (G5) revealed an absent smear layer with open dentinal tubules in the middle and apical thirds. Statistical analysis showed no significant difference in the cleanliness of root-canal wall between G1 and G2, and G1 and G3. However, there were statistically significant differences (P < 0.01) between G1 and G4, and G1 and G5 in the cleanliness of the middle and apical one-thirds of the root canals. CONCLUSIONS: Irrigation with 17% EDTA, 6% phosphoric acid and 6% citric acid did not remove all the smear layer from the root-canal system. In addition, these acidic solutions demineralized the interbular dentine around tabular openings, which became enlarged. The CO2 laser was useful in removing and melting the smear layer on the instrumented root-canal walls and the Er:YAG laser was the most effective in removing the smear layer from the root-canal wall.  相似文献

AIM: To evaluate smear layer removal by different irrigating solutions under ultrasonic agitation. METHODOLOGY: Twenty recently extracted mandibular incisors with a single root canal were divided into four equal groups. Three groups were instrumented using the modified double-flared technique, the fourth remained unprepared. Each group was irrigated with either distilled water, 1.0% sodium hypochlorite alone or associated with 15% EDTAC between each file size. The final group was not instrumented but irrigated with 1.0% sodium hypochlorite and 15% EDTAC. A size 15 file energised by ultrasound was used with small amplitude filing movements against the canal walls in all groups. The teeth were split longitudinally and the roots measured to provide three sections of the same size (cervical, middle and apical). Samples were examined under the scanning electron microscope and assessed for the amount of smear layer by three independent and calibrated examiners. The scoring system ranged from 1 (no smear layer) to 4 (all areas covered by smear layer). Due to the non-parametric nature of the data, Friedman's test was used for statistical analysis. RESULTS: Canal walls were covered with smear layer in the group irrigated with 1% sodium hypochlorite alone and the group irrigated with distilled water. Canals irrigated with 1.0% sodium hypochlorite associated with 15% EDTAC had less smear layer throughout the canal (P < 0.001). There were no statistical differences for the amount of smear layer found on the cervical, middle and apical thirds when each group was analysed separately. CONCLUSIONS: Under ultrasonic agitation, sodium hypochlorite associated with EDTAC removed the smear layer from root canal walls, whereas irrigation with distilled water or 1.0% sodium hypochlorite alone did not remove smear layer.  相似文献

Aim To evaluate the effects of ethylenediaminetetraacetic (EDTA), etidronic (EA) and peracetic acid (PA) when used in conjunction with sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) as root canal irrigants on calcium eluted from canals, smear layer, and root dentine demineralization after instrumentation/irrigation. Methodology Single‐rooted human premolars were irrigated as follows (n = 12 per group): (1) 1% NaOCl during instrumentation, deionized water after instrumentation, (2) 1% NaOCl during, 17% EDTA after instrumentation, (3) a 1 : 1‐mixture of 2% NaOCl and 18% EA during and after instrumentation, and (4) 1% NaOCl during, 2.25% PA after instrumentation. Irrigant volumes and contact times were 10 mL/15 min during and 5 mL/3 min after instrumentation. The evaluated outcomes were eluted calcium by atomic absorption spectroscopy, smear‐covered areas by scanning electron microscopy in secondary electron mode and apparent canal wall decalcifications on root transsections in backscatter mode. For the smear layer analysis, sclerotic dentine was taken into consideration. Results were compared using appropriate parametric and nonparametric tests, alpha = 0.05. Results The statistical comparison of the protocols regarding calcium elution revealed that protocol (1) yielded less calcium than (3), which yielded less than protocols (2) and (4). Most of the instrumented canal walls treated with one of the decalcifying agents were free of smear layer. Protocols (1) and (3) caused no decalcification of root dentine, whilst (2) and (4) showed substance typical demineralization patterns. Conclusions The decalcifying agents under investigation were all able to remove or prevent a smear layer. However, they eroded the dentine wall differently.  相似文献

目的 评估XP-endo Finisher(XPF)锉与被动超声冲洗(PUI)对根管内壁玷污层的清除效果。方法 选择60颗离体单直根管下颌前磨牙,距根尖16 mm处截冠,采用S3镍钛锉预备到3S,根据终末处理方式不同将样本随机分成6组。A组:3 mL 3%次氯酸钠溶液联合XPF处理1 min;B组:3 mL 3%次氯酸钠溶液联合XPF处理1 min,再用4 mL 17%乙二胺四乙酸(EDTA)溶液冲洗1 min;C组:3 mL 3%次氯酸钠溶液联合PUI处理1 min;D组:3 mL 3%次氯酸钠溶液联合PUI处理1 min,再用4 mL 17%EDTA溶液冲洗1 min;E组:3 mL 3%次氯酸钠溶液30号侧方冲洗针冲洗1 min;F组:3 mL 3%次氯酸钠溶液30号侧方冲洗针冲洗1 min,再用4 mL 17%EDTA溶液冲洗1 min。采用扫描电子显微镜观察玷污层形态,并比较根尖1/3区、根中1/3区牙本质小管开口数。结果 A、C、E组实验样本整个根管壁都有玷污层覆盖,A组与C组牙本质小管开口数明显高于E组(P<0.05),而A组与C组的差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);F组根中区、B组和D组根尖区有少量玷污层覆盖,牙本质小管开放或半开放;F组根尖区可见玷污层,牙本质小管封闭或半封闭;B和D组根中区根管壁玷污层均被有效去除;在根尖1/3区和根中1/3区,B组与D组牙本质小管开口数高于其他4组(P<0.05),而B组和D组间的差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论 XPF锉对根管内壁玷污层的清洁效果与PUI无明显差异,可用于根管预备后提高根管清洁效果。  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of MTAD as the final irrigant to remove the smear layer, compared with that of 17% EDTA, both following root canal irrigation with 5.25% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl). Fifty‐five extracted maxillary and mandibular single‐rooted human teeth were prepared by a crown‐down technique using rotary 0.04 and 0.06 taper nickel‐titanium files. 5.25% sodium hypochlorite was used as the intracanal irrigant. The canals were then treated with 5 mL of one of the following solutions as final rinse: 5.25% sodium hypochlorite, 17% EDTA or MTAD. The presence or absence of smear layer in the coronal, middle and apical portion of each canal was examined with a scanning electron microscope. The results showed that MTAD is an effective final rinse solution for removing the smear layer in canals irrigated with sodium hypochlorite. When 17% EDTA was used as a final rinse, the smear layer was removed from the middle and coronal thirds of canal preparations, but it was less effective in the apical third of the canals.  相似文献

AIM: To verify, under the scanning electron microscope (SEM), the influence of irrigation time with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) and sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) on intracanal smear layer removal. METHODOLOGY: Twenty-one extracted human permanent teeth with single straight root canals were included. The root canals of the teeth were instrumented and, at the end of preparation, were irrigated with 3 mL of 15% EDTA, followed by 3 mL of 1% NaOCl for 1 min (group 1), for 3 min (group 2), and for 5 min (group 3). The canals of teeth in group 4 (control) did not receive the final irrigation. The teeth were sectioned longitudinally and prepared for an SEM. The dentinal wall of cervical, middle and apical thirds was graded according to the amount of debris and smear layer remaining on the walls. The results were analysed using the Kruskal-Wallis and Conover-Inman tests. RESULTS: In all the canals of experimental groups irrigation with EDTA and NaOCl completely removed the smear layer from the cervical and middle thirds. In the apical third, the dentine surface were partially covered, particularly in the teeth of group 1, where there was significantly more smear layer when compared with the other thirds in the same group (P<0.007). However, the Kruskal-Wallis test showed overall that there were no significant differences between groups 1, 2 and 3 (P>0.05). CONCLUSION: In this limited laboratory study, canal irrigation with EDTA and NaOCl for 1, 3 and 5 min were equally effective in removing the smear layer from the canal walls of straight roots.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of ethylene glycol-bis (beta-aminoethyl ether)-N,N,N', N'-tetraacetic acid (EGTA) and EDTA on removal of the smear layer by using scanning electron microscopy. Fifteen single-rooted teeth were instrumented to size 60. Three teeth served as the control group, and the remaining teeth were assigned into two groups. After instrumentation, root canals of the first group were irrigated with 10 ml of 17% EDTA, and the second group was irrigated with 10 ml of 17% EGTA for 2 min. Both were then irrigated with 10 ml of 5% NaOCl. The teeth in the control group were irrigated with only 10 ml of 5% NaOCl. Then the specimens were sectioned longitudinally and processed for scanning electron microscopy. The results showed that the smear layer was completely removed by EDTA, but it caused erosion of the tubuli. EGTA was somewhat effective in removing the smear layer without inducing erosion. Our results suggest that EGTA is an alternative chelator for removing the smear layer.  相似文献

AimThe aim of this study was to evaluate the concentration of calcium ions and smear layer removal by using root canal chelators according to flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry and scanning electron microscopy. Forty-two human maxillary central incisors were irrigated with 15% ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), 10% citric acid, 10% sodium citrate, apple vinegar, 5% acetic acid, 5% malic acid, and sodium hypochlorite. The concentration of calcium ions was measured by using flame atomic absorption spectrometry, and smear layer removal was determined by scanning electron microscopy. Mean ± standard deviation, one-way analysis of variance, Tukey-Kramer, Kruskal-Wallis, Dunn, and kappa tests were used for statistical analysis. The use of 15% EDTA resulted in the greatest concentration of calcium ions followed by 10% citric acid; 15% EDTA and 10% citric acid were the most efficient solutions for removal of smear layer.  相似文献

目的:比较5种冲洗剂组合对前牙直根管的清洁效果。方法:25颗离体直根管前牙,随机分为5组,不锈钢K锉常规法预备根管.应用5种冲洗剂组合进行冲洗。第1组:根管器械预备期间和预备结束后依次用1%NaOCl和3%H2O2冲洗;第2组:根管器械预备期间用1%NaOCl冲洗,预备结束后用17%EDTA冲洗;第3组:根管器械预备期间和预备结束后依次用1%NaOCl和17%EDTA冲洗:第4组:根管器械预备期间依次用17%EDTA和1%NaOCl冲洗,器械预备结束后用17%EDTA冲洗;第5组:根管器械预备期间依次用17%EDTA、1%Triton X-100(表面活性剂)和1%NaOCl冲洗.器械预备结束后用17%EDTA冲洗。每组冲洗剂剂量和冲洗时间均为22ml和7min。将牙纵劈后进行扫描电镜观察。结果:第1组,根管壁上见典型玷污层结构和大量杂质和残屑。第2组在根管冠、中1/3能部分去除玷污层.根尖1/3残留大量玷污层。第3组虽然能有效去除玷污层.但会引起牙本质小管中度腐蚀。第5组在根管冠、中1/3能部分去除玷污层,但根管壁上黏着大量杂质和残屑.此外还存在重度腐蚀现象。第4组根管清洁效果最好,且对牙本质小管无腐蚀性。结论:在严格控制冲洗时间和顺序的情况下,联合应用17%EDTA和1%NaOCl能有效去除玷污层.且不会腐蚀牙本质小管。  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of 4 per cent sodium hypochlorite and 15 per cent EDTAC, either alone or in conjunction, as irrigants during hand instrumentation and ultrasonic irrigation of the root canal. Thirty-six extracted human teeth, each with a single, straight root 21–25 mm long were hand-instrumented through a clinical access cavity to file size 40. One millilitre of the test irrigant was used after each instrument size. Canal debridement was completed with an intermittent flush irrigation technique with one or both of the test irrigants activated by ultrasound at a medium effective power output. The specimens were sectioned longitudinally, viewed in a scanning electron microscope and scored for the presence or absence of debris and smear layer at levels less than 1 mm, 5 mm, and 10 mm from the apical seat. Under the conditions of this experiment the most effective regime was irrigation with 1 mL EDTAC after each instrument size, followed by two 30 second exposures to ultrasound + EDTAC then four 30 second exposures to ultrasound + 4 per cent sodium hypochlorite. The specimens in this group were free from retained pulp tissue and superficial smear layer, had the lowest debris scores at the < 1 mm and 5 mm levels, and the lowest total debris score. All of the techniques tested produced smear-free canals at the 10 mm level.  相似文献

Objective

The purpose of this study was to evaluate by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) the removal of smear layer from the middle and apical root thirds after use of different irrigating solutions.

Material and Methods

Forty roots of permanent human teeth had their canals instrumented and were randomly assigned to 4 groups (n=10), according to the irrigating solution: apple vinegar (group A), apple vinegar finished with 17% ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) (group B), 1% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) finished with 17% EDTA (group C) and saline (group D - control). After chemomechanical preparation, the roots were cleaved longitudinally and their middle and apical thirds were examined by SEM at ×1,000 magnification. Two calibrated examiners (kappa=0.92) analyzed the SEM micrographs qualitatively attributing scores that indicated the efficacy of the solutions in removing the smear layer from the surface of the dentin tubules (1 - poor, 2 - good and 3 - excellent). Data from the control and experimental groups were analyzed by the Kruskal-Wallis and Dunn''s test, while the Wilcoxon test was used to compare the middle and apical thirds of the canals within the same group (α=0.05).

Results

The middle third presented less amount of smear layer than the apical third, regardless of the irrigant. There was statistically significant difference (p=0.0402) among the groups in the middle third. In the apical third, the apple vinegar/EDTA group showed the greatest removal of smear layer (p=0.0373).

Conclusion

Apple vinegar associated or not with EDTA was effective in removing smear layer when used as an endodontic irrigant.  相似文献

目的:比较声波与超声波根管器械配合不同冲洗液预备根管的清理效果。方法:制作根管扫描电镜标本,观察根管玷污层分布和牙本质小管暴露情况,各标本的冠1/3、中1/3、根尖1/3区域各取10个500倍视野照相,分级评分(玷污层分数,SL)。统计学分析比较三种冲洗液条件下声波和超声波器械根管清理的差异。结果:仅以蒸馏水作冲洗液,声波不能有效清理碎屑与玷污层;25g/L NaClO冲洗,根尖1/3玷污层的去除超声组优于声波组,但未清除玷污层栓层;25g/L NaClO结合170g/L EDTA作冲洗液,玷污层去除显著且两组无显著差异,但根尖1/3差于根管中上段,超声组部分区域牙本质小管蚀刻与融合。结论:声波结合25g/L NaClO和170g/L EDTA可有效去除玷污层并达到与超声器械近似的根管清理效果,根管内荡洗去除玷污层栓层效果显著,且未对根管壁产生破坏,但有必要加强根尖部荡洗。  相似文献

This study sought to assess if the final rinse protocol interferes with the smear layer removal in the apical area of curved canals. Sixty‐four extracted human mandibular molars with curved mesial roots were instrumented with rotary files and divided into six experimental groups for final rinse: 1EDTA (syringe irrigation with 1 mL of 17% ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) ), 5EDTA (syringe irrigation with 5 mL of 17% EDTA), 1EDTA‐P (syringe irrigation with 1 mL of 17% EDTA + pumping with gutta‐percha point), 5EDTA‐P (syringe irrigation with 5 mL of 17% EDTA + pumping with gutta‐percha point), 1EDTA‐EA (syringe irrigation with 1 mL of 17% EDTA + EndoActivator) and 5EDTA‐EA (syringe irrigation with 5 mL of 17% EDTA + EndoActivator). Final rinsing was carried out over 3 min. The specimens were split lengthwise and observed under a scanning electron microscope using a score criterion. Comparison among the groups showed statistically significant difference only between the 5EDTA‐EA group and the other groups (Kruskal–Wallis and Dunn's post‐hoc tests, P < 0.05). The combination of 5 mL of 17% EDTA and 3 mL of 2.5% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) with the EndoActivator removed smear layer from the apical area of curved root canals more effectively than the other protocols used.  相似文献
