Traumas to deciduous teeth may have severe consequences. This article addresses a dentigerous cyst case report associated with an upper permanent incisor, unusual site of occurrence, which was impacted and dislodged from its natural site of eruption after trauma at the deciduous predecessor. The main aspects of etiopathology and its clinical characteristics are also discussed, with special focus on the radiographic features of the diagnosis in order to allow for an accurate surgical planning.

Abstract – This case report refers to an 18‐year‐old female who suffered from dental trauma when she was 7 years old caused by a bicycle accident. Her maxillary right central incisor was avulsed, and the left one was extrusively luxated. The left central incisor was correctly repositioned and immobilized with a semi‐rigid splint. The right one could not be found. She presented with class II malocclusion and severe negative arch‐length discrepancies in both arches. The treatment objectives were the following: recover smile esthetics by replacing the maxillary right central incisor, correct the class II relationship, and optimally reduce mandibular and maxillary crowding. Extractions of the maxillary left lateral incisor and the lower right first bicuspid were performed; thus, the maxillary right lateral incisor would function as a maxillary right central incisor, the canines would function as lateral incisors, and the first bicuspids would function as canines. This allowed for the malocclusion to be corrected while simultaneously reestablishing the smile esthetics, without the use of an osseointegrated implant. A good occlusion with coincident upper and lower midlines was achieved. After orthodontic therapy, the patient underwent periodontal surgery to improve her gingival margins. Subsequent teeth bleaching was performed, and the patient received six porcelain veneers. A combination of orthodontic space closure and prosthetic rehabilitation may be the best treatment option after severe traumatic tooth loss.

Abstract A case of endodontic conservative treatment of a maxillary central incisor with an atypical crown and Type III dens invaginatus is presented. The greatest difficulty was to locate the root canals due to the atypical internal anatomy. There were not two clear canals, but the coronal pulp chamber showed two entrances to the root canal. The tooth presented a distal periodontal pocket and various lingual radicular grooves. The appearance of the crown was improved by alteration of its dimension using diamond rotary instruments and correction with photopolymerized resin.

The success of endodontic therapy requires a knowledge of the internal and external dental anatomy and its variations in presentation. The internal anatomy of the maxillary central incisor is well known and usually presents with one root and one radicular canal system. This case report describes an endodontic treatment of a maxillary central incisor with two roots and two canal systems, demonstrated by radiography and computerized tomography examinations.

Fusion is developmental anomaly of the dental hard tissue and is defined as the joining of 2 developing tooth germs resulting in a single large tooth structure. Different treatment methods can be used according to the requirements of the situation. The purpose of this case report was to present the multidisciplinary treatment of a patient who had a permanent maxillary left central tooth fused with a supernumerary incisor and a macrodont permanent maxillary right lateral incisor. In the radiographic evaluation, it was determined that the fused tooth had 2 separate roots. The supernumerary tooth was extracted after hemisection, and endodontic treatment was performed on the remaining portion. The distal side of the macrodont lateral incisor was recontoured, and the right central incisor was reshaped with a strip crown to provide aesthetic appearance and to gain space for the alignment of teeth. Following the restoration of the incisors, orthodontic treatment was provided.

Trauma to primary incisors is common and poses a challenge to dentists who treat children. Often, the clinical appearance of such teeth does not indicate the underlying pathosis. In this case, a dentigerous cyst developed in association with an injured primary incisor, resulting in loss of a permanent tooth.

Dilaceration of permanent successors is one of the most common complications of trauma to the deciduous teeth. It is advisable to keep these patients under observation post-trauma and to consult an orthodontist at an early stage to prevent unfavorable sequelae. Presented here is a typical case of dilaceration.

Abstract— This paper describes the case of a 31 -year-old woman with advanced periodontal dlsease who lost a tooth due to trauma. The avulsed tooth had minimal bony support of only 4—-5 mm. The patient described was under good periodontal maintenance. The tooth was kept moist, and replantation occurred within an hour of avulsion. The tooth was returned to its position, splinted, and later endodontically treated. After 2 years the tooth appears and functions normally as it did before avulsion.

Endodontic treatment of a case of fused immature central incisor with a supernumerary tooth with dens in dente is described. Although a chronic dentoalveolar abscess was diagnosed, vitality test signs were positive. Treatment consisted of pulpotomy with calcium hydroxide paste; after 2 1/2 months a permanent root canal filling was placed in the amputated part. Follow-up 2 years postoperatively indicated that the tooth has maintained its vitality. The periapical area is completely healed, and apical closure is evident.

Reattachment of the original tooth fragment to the fractured tooth provides benefits of maintaining the tooth's shape, colour texture and translucency in the restoration. This paper describes fragment reattachment of a non-vital central incisor five months after trauma.

Abstract – This case report presents the endodontic management of a horizontally fractured right incisor involving healing with granulation tissue using an intraradicular splinting technique. We also discuss the spontaneous healing of the fractured left central incisor with calcified tissue. A composite resin splint was made for all of the upper anterior teeth. The root canal of the right incisor was temporarily filled with calcium hydroxide slurry. The intraradicular splinting involved placing a file in the canal. Sealer was introduced into the canal and then a no. 110 K file was fixed in the canal with polycarboxylate cement. The tooth was asymptomatic and the composite splint was removed after 1 month. The right incisor appeared normal clinically and radiographically at the 30‐month recall. This case demonstrates that intraradicular splinting can be used to manage horizontally fractured teeth with necrotic and mobile coronal segment.

AIM: To describe conventional and surgical endodontic treatment of a maxillary right lateral incisor with an unusual root dilaceration and to discuss the treatment outcome. SUMMARY: Root dilacerations refer to severe curvature or angulations that may occur anywhere along the length of a root. This anatomical deviation may present an unfavourable outcome if clinicians fail to recognize the difficulties. The following case report describes conventional and surgical endodontic treatment of a maxillary right lateral incisor with an unusual root dilaceration. *Root morphology may present a challenge for clinicians during root canal treatment. *Clinicians should be aware of the importance of surgical endodontics and be familiar with microsurgery principals and techniques.
