To determine the amount of blood lost, the number of transfusions, and the effectiveness of preoperative autologous blood donation in radical prostatectomy, 163 patients' records from 1987 to 1991 were reviewed at four university hospitals and three community hospitals. Calculated red cell volume lost was 1003 +/− 535 mL (mean +/− SD), which corresponds to 44 +/− 18 percent (mean +/− SD) of total red cell volume. Preoperative donation of blood for autologous use reduced the rate of transfusion of allogeneic blood from 66 to 20 percent (p < 0.001). Of the patients who donated 1 to 2 units, 32 percent received allogeneic blood; 14 percent of those who donated 3 units received allogeneic blood. Donation of 4 units reduced the allogeneic transfusion rate to 11 percent. However, as the number of units donated increased (1-3 units), the units not transfused also increased (0-21%). Ninety-one (56%) of 163 patients donated fewer than 3 units. Autologous blood donation is effective in minimizing the transfusion of allogeneic blood to radical prostatectomy patients, but many patients do not donate enough blood (< 3 units). The donation of 3 units of blood for autologous use is recommended for patients who undergo radical prostatectomy.  相似文献

For patients who donate blood for autologous use and undergo major orthopedic surgery, low basal hematocrit (Hct) is the major cause of allogeneic blood exposure. To determine whether recombinant human erythropoietin (rHuEPO) could increase autologous blood procurement and reduce allogeneic blood exposure, a prospective randomized study was conducted in 50 women undergoing total hip replacement who had basal Hct < 40 percent (0.40). Patients were randomly placed in three groups: those receiving placebo, those receiving 300 U of rHuEPO per kg, and those receiving 600 U of rHuEPO per kg every 3 to 4 days for 21 days. Oral iron (125-270 mg/day) was given; in the last 24 patients, 100 mg of iron saccharate was administered intravenously at each donation. At each visit, 350 mL of blood was collected if Hct was > or = 34 percent (0.34). Patients receiving rHuEPO donated a greater amount of blood for autologous use than did patients in the placebo group (4.5 +/− 1.1 vs. 2.8 +/− 0.6 units; p < 0.05) and received a significantly lower amount of allogeneic blood (1.2 +/− 1.4 vs. 0.4 +/− 0.8 units; p < 0.05). No difference between the effects of the two doses of rHuEPO was observed. Iron support was a critical factor in the efficacy of treatment. No untoward effects were observed. The rHuEPO emerged as a safe and effective treatment, with adequate iron support, by which to increase preoperative deposit of autologous blood and to reduce exposure to allogeneic blood for patients with low basal Hct.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Decreasing the overcollection of preoperative autologous blood is difficult to achieve. The purpose of this study was to determine whether an educational intervention designed to outline the risks of preoperative autologous collection can decrease such donations and, if so, to determine how this decrease will affect subsequent transfusion rates. STUDY DESIGN AND METHODS: An educational intervention consisting of a didactic presentation to the Department of Gynecology staff about the risks and benefits of autologous blood was implemented. Written material with similar information was given to patients. Subsequently, the percentage of patients donating autologous blood, the number of autologous units donated, and the rates of transfusion in patients eligible for autologous donation who were admitted for elective abdominal or vaginal hysterectomy were measured. These rates were compared to those in similar patients admitted in the 2 years before the educational intervention. RESULTS: After an educational intervention, the proportion of patients donating autologous blood decreased from 53 percent to 26 percent (p<0.01), and the number of units collected per patient decreased from 0.86 to 0.31 (p<0.01); this resulted in a savings of 80 autologous donations per year. Despite no difference in estimated blood loss (p = 0.46), the overall transfusion rate decreased from 10 percent to 3.7 percent (p = 0.03), while the allogeneic transfusion rate demonstrated no significant change (1.1% vs. 2.2%; p = 0.40). CONCLUSIONS: Unnecessary preoperative autologous donations by elective hysterectomy patients can be decreased by educating physicians and patients about the risks of preoperative autologous blood donation. Decreasing such unnecessary donations can decrease the subsequent autologous transfusion rate, with its attendant risks, without increasing the risk of allogeneic transfusion.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Autologous blood transfusion presents no infectious or immunologic side effects. The aim of this randomized study was to determine the impact of recombinant human erythropoietin (rHuEPO) on the donation of 5 units of autologous blood by nonanemic patients who were candidates for elective surgery with transfusion requirements of > or = 5 units. STUDY DESIGN AND METHODS: Starting on Day -35, 420 mL of blood was taken weekly. All patients received 200 mg of iron saccharose complex intravenously at each visit and six subcutaneous injections of rHuEPO (141 U/kg) or placebo between Days -21 and -7. RESULTS: Of 50 patients, 45 completed the study (placebo, 21; rHuEPO, 24). Total red cell production was higher in the rHuEPO group (p = 0.001). Donation of 5 units was possible for 67 percent (placebo group) and 79 percent (rHuEPO group) of patients (p = 0.5). The mean number of blood units donated was 4.6 (placebo group) and 4.7 (rHuEPO group). More patients in the placebo group received allogeneic blood (9/21 [43%] vs. 6/23 [26%]), although the difference did not reach significance (p = 0.34). CONCLUSION: In nonanemic patients donating 5 units of blood, rHuEPO associated with intravenous iron increased total red cell production. However, no difference was found between the rHuEPO and placebo groups with regard to the number of units of autologous blood donated of the number of patients receiving allogeneic blood transfusion.  相似文献

Autologous blood donation is designed to avoid complications from allogeneic blood, leaving units of blood in the general blood supply. It is unclear how efficient these programmes are in accomplishing these goals. It is unclear if autologous donation provokes increased need for any transfusion following surgery and whether it can be avoided in low-risk surgeries. Of 430 patients undergoing unilateral primary knee replacement arthroplasty over 12 months in our hospital, 309 had autologous donations and 121 did not. Of the 121 patients who did not donate, 36% completed surgery without transfusion, whereas only 17% of those who had autologous donations did so (P < 0.05). Age less than 65 years, higher baseline and postoperative haemoglobin levels were associated with lower transfusion rates. Patients who had autologous donations were approximately four times more likely to be transfused. As the number of autologous units donated increased, transfusions following surgery increased. Autologous donation did reduce allogeneic blood transfusions. Therefore, autologous blood donation for unilateral total knee arthroplasty is associated with overall increased transfusion rates, but with reduced need for allogeneic blood, independent of other clinical factors associated with transfusion. Therefore, there is need for reconsideration of these programmes relative to specific surgeries.  相似文献

The utilization and effectiveness of a hospital preoperative autologous blood donation program were analyzed. Over 16 months, 180 donors, or 11.6 percent of eligible patients (those undergoing elective surgical procedures where blood was routinely crossmatched), were enrolled in the program. They donated an average of 2.2 units of red cells, or 59 percent of the mean order of 3.7 units. Donations were completed in 17.9 days, leaving 10.7 days between the last donation and hospitalization. Of all scheduled donations, 25.5 percent were cancelled due to deferrals; 47.8 percent of patients were deferred at least once. Most patients were able to donate a unit of blood weekly, with minimal drops in hematocrit (mean 3.2%). The reaction rate, 4.8 percent, was comparable to figures reported for homologous donors. Nearly two-thirds of participants used no homologous blood during their hospitalization: 28.6 percent used no blood whatsoever, and 36.9 percent used only autologous components. Including released autologous components subsequently administered to other recipients, transfused autologous red cells were 2.1 percent and fresh-frozen plasma (FFP) 7.2 percent of the hospital's blood supply. Although the high deferral rate complicated the administration of the program, this complication was offset by the demonstration of donor safety, reduction in the proportion of patients who used homologous blood, and the contribution of autologous blood components to the hospital's blood inventory.  相似文献

AIDS has created considerable concern among the public regarding being transfused with potentially infectious blood. However, autologous blood donations are still not maximally provided nor utilized. Significant heart disease disqualifies all allogeneic and most autologous blood donors (American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) Standards 1994). Disqualification is based on the widespread belief that donating blood could possibly be detrimental to their health. However, this belief has not been sufficiently documented. Sixty-eight donors (ages 14-84 years), all with histories of significant cardiac diseases, donated 111 units of whole blood (1-3 units). Twenty-eight patients donated 1 unit, 37 donated 2 units, and three patients donated 3 units. Fifty-nine patients had ischemic heart disease, and nine had valvular heart disease (five with mitral stenosis and four with mitral valve prolapse). No patient received erythropoietin, and only one received equal volume replacement with normal saline during donation. All these patients eagerly wished to donate in spite of being informed of the possible complications. No patient wishing to donate has been refused, and none has experienced any adverse consequences from donating. Forty-four patients underwent total hip/knee replacements. Only 56 units (50%) were transfused to 37 patients (54%). Although our experience is limited, it appears that many patients with histories of well established cardiac diseases can easily tolerate donating blood without compromising their health.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Preoperative autologous blood donation is accepted as a standard of care for radical prostatectomy. Acute normovolemic hemodilution (ANH) is an alternative method for obtaining autologous blood. The cost and benefits of these two autologous blood-collection techniques are compared. STUDY DESIGN AND METHODS: Thirty consecutive patients scheduled for radical prostatectomy underwent ANH to a target hematocrit level of 28 percent. Blood was transfused in the perioperative period to maintain the hematocrit level > 25 percent. Hematocrit levels, transfusion outcomes and costs, and postoperative outcomes for these patients (hemodilution group) were compared with a matched patient cohort who preoperatively donated 3 units of blood for autologous use in prostatectomy surgery (nonhemodilution group, n = 30). RESULTS: Thirty patients underwent ANH to a hematocrit level of 28.7 +/− 1.7 percent, and 1740 +/− 346 mL (3.5 +/− 0.7 units) of blood were collected. Three (10%) of the patients in each cohort had allogeneic blood exposure. Transfusion costs were 73 percent higher for the nonhemodilution group patients than for the hemodilution group patients ($330 +/− $100 vs. $191 +/− $55, p < 0.001). No differences were found in postoperative outcomes. CONCLUSION: An integrated blood conservation program utilizing hemodilution and a defined transfusion trigger can decrease the requirement for preoperative donation of blood for autologous use in radical prostatectomy. Point-of-care autologous blood procurement is more cost-effective than preadmission donation of autologous blood units.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Modest autologous blood donation programs involving weekly phlebotomy and threshold hematocrits for blood donation higher than 33 percent are frequently used in patients scheduled for elective cardiac surgery. This study was performed to determine the gain in red cells (RBCs) obtained with such a program. STUDY DESIGN AND METHODS: The blood bank and medical records of 225 adult patients (194 men, 31 women; mean age, 57 years [range, 18–77]) who donated blood for autologous use in elective cardiac surgery during a 3-year period were reviewed. Preoperative RBC production was estimated by the total volume of RBCs donated minus the change in circulating RBC volume between the first donation and the day before surgery. RESULTS: A total of 604 blood units were donated (2.7 units/patient; range, 1–3). The mean volume of RBCs donated was 522 mL (range, 171–732). Mean RBC production (over baseline RBC production) was 351 mL (range, 9–719), or 19 percent (range, 0.5-40) of the circulating RBC volume at baseline. CONCLUSION: A modest autologous blood donation program using three phlebotomies at weekly intervals and a threshold hematocrit for blood donation of 36 percent yields an average of 351 mL (range, 9–719) of RBCs. This is equivalent to 2 units (range, 0.5-4) of allogeneic packed RBCs at 180 mL per unit.  相似文献

We studied 342 potentially "high-risk" patients, including patients with severe heart disease, elderly patients, children, and pregnant women, to determine the incidence of complications related to phlebotomy. Our patients had an adverse reaction rate associated with blood donation of 4 percent, which is no greater than would be expected among normal volunteer blood donors. No patient experienced a dangerous complication associated with phlebotomy. We conclude that many patients currently denied the opportunity to donate blood preoperatively are actually suitable candidates for autologous blood transfusion programs.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Research has indicated the ability of the Theory of Planned Behavior to predict blood donation. This study tested an extended version of the Theory of Planned Behavior (attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control with the addition of past behavior, moral norm, self-identity, and anticipated regret) in predicting donation intention and behavior among donors and nondonors and if forming implementation intentions improved attendance at a mobile blood donation clinic. STUDY DESIGN AND METHODS: This study used a cross-sectional follow-up design. A questionnaire was distributed to 600 staff and students at the National University of Ireland, Galway, before the arrival of a mobile clinic to Galway city. Half of these participants were invited to make implementation intentions specifying how, where, and when they planned to donate blood. A second questionnaire measuring reported attendance at the clinic was distributed 2 weeks after the first questionnaire. RESULTS: A total of 172 eligible donors returned questionnaires (29% response rate). The extended Theory of Planned Behavior accounted for 51 percent of the variance in intention to donate in the future: anticipated regret, attitude, perceived behavioral control, self-identity, and subjective norm significantly predicted intention. Donors differed from nondonors: they possessed more favorable attitudes toward blood donation, had a greater sense of donor identity, and believed more strongly in a moral obligation to donate blood than nondonors. Those who made implementation intentions were no more likely to donate that those who had not. CONCLUSION: Owing to the different factors influencing the donation decision for donors and nondonors, separate strategies to promote donation should be designed for these subgroups, targeting the elements most pertinent to each group.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Preoperative autologous blood donation (PABD) has been used to reduce the need for allogeneic RBC transfusion, decreasing risk and conserving supply. A frozen PABD program for heart transplant patients was instituted at the Mayo Clinic in 1988, but participation has steadily declined. The aims of this study were to determine how the availability of PABD influenced the transfusion RBC components, whether the availability of PABD reduced exposure to allogeneic RBC components, and the costs of providing PABD units. STUDY DESIGN AND METHODS: A retrospective review of all heart transplant cases from 1988 to 1999 was performed (n = 141). Data on collection and transfusion practices were compared for patients with (n = 88, 62%) and without PABD (n = 53, 38%). RESULTS: Total RBC transfusion requirements did not differ between the groups. Patients with frozen PABD received fewer allogeneic units, but they also had less blood salvaged and reinfused. Twenty patients (23%) completely avoided exposure to allogeneic RBCs in the PABD group versus three patients (6%) in the group without PABD. Although patients in the PABD group successfully donated a total of 423 units, 41 percent were discarded. Over 11 years, the need for 251 units of allogeneic RBCs was avoided ($27,610), but $283,500 was spent to have the frozen PABD units available. CONCLUSION: PABD can be performed for heart transplantation, but it is expensive.  相似文献

Background : The importance of autologous blood donation for elective surgery is recognized, and the method is being used at many hospitals. Not all patients are able to deposit a sufficient amount of blood before surgery because they cannot recover rapidly enough from phlebotomy-induced anemia. The ability to donate sufficient blood for autologous use was studied in patients who are particularly susceptible to phlebotomy-induced anemia. Study Design and Methods : Of 840 patients who donated blood for autologous use in elective surgery from November 1987 through May 1993, 20 with rheumatoid arthritis, 24 with iron deficiency anemia, and 37 aged 65 years and above with normocytic anemia were compared with 24 nonanemic elderly patients who donated a total of 1000 mL of blood for autologous use. Patients received iron sulfate orally and donated blood once a week until operation. Results : The amount of blood collected before surgery per control patient was more than that in others. Consequently, there was a tendency to allogeneic blood transfusion in patients with rheumatoid arthritis or elderly patients. The ferritin levels in controls and in patients with iron deficiency anemia during the donation period were almost within the normal range in spite of iron supplementation, which implied a good utilization of iron sulfate for erythropoiesis. On the other hand, the rise in ferritin levels in the elderly and in patients with rheumatoid arthritis suggested inappropriate iron availability for erythropoiesis and resulted in an increase in iron storage. Since an adequate endogenous erythropoietin response to phlebotomy-induced anemia was not observed in these patients, impaired erythropoietin production was considered one of the reasons for anemia. Conclusion : Patients with iron deficiency anemia are able to continue donating blood for autologous use so long as they have sufficient iron supplementation. However, the elderly or those with rheumatoid arthritis occasionally fail to donate a sufficient volume of blood before surgery as a result of phlebotomy-induced anemia, which is caused in turn by impaired erythropoietin production.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: This randomized controlled study was undertaken to determine the effect of recombinant human erythropoietin (rHuEPO) on erythropoiesis, autologous blood collection, and allogeneic transfusion risk in elective surgery patients with low baseline hematocrits. STUDY DESIGN AND METHODS: Patients (n = 204) with low baseline hematocrits ( < or = 39%), scheduled for orthopedic surgery within 25 to 35 days, were seen every 3 to 4 days for 21 days. At each visit, 450 mL of blood was collected if the hematocrit was > or = 33 percent, and rHuEPO (600 U/kg) or placebo was administered intravenously. RESULTS: One hundred seventy-three patients were evaluable. The number of autologous units collected from the rHuEPO and control groups, respectively, was 4.5 +/− 1.0 and 3.0 +/− 1.1 (p < 0.001), and marrow production of red cells increased by 668 +/− 222 and 353 +/− 155 mL over and above baseline production (p < 0.05). Allogeneic blood transfusion was required by 31 percent of control and 20 percent of rHuEPO patients (p = 0.09). Excluding 8 patients who received > 6 units, 29 percent of control and 14 percent of rHuEPO patients required allogeneic blood (p = 0.015). Logistic regression modeling determined that the risk of allogeneic transfusion was reduced by rHuEPO (p = 0.025). CONCLUSION: The use of rHuEPO stimulates erythropoiesis, permits the storage of more autologous blood, and reduces allogeneic transfusion risk in patients with low hematocrits who are undergoing elective orthopedic surgery. Additional studies are necessary to determine the optimal schedules of rHuEPO administration and autologous blood collection as well as the cost-effectiveness of this strategy.  相似文献

The risks associated with the administration of blood products have increased efforts to avoid homologous transfusions. Preoperative autologous donation has received renewed interest as a method of decreasing homologous transfusion requirements. Autologous donations may also stimulate postoperative erythropoiesis. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of an aggressive autologous donation program on postoperative erythropoiesis. Ten adult male baboons were divided into two groups. The autologous group (n = 5) donated an average of 2 units of blood per week for 5 weeks before operation. The control group (n = 5) had no preoperative treatment. All animals then underwent a laparotomy and exchange transfusion with hetastarch to a final hematocrit of 15 percent. The time required to recover to hematocrits of 20 percent (3.3 vs. 5.7 days, p less than 0.01), 25 percent (7.0 vs. 8.8 days, p less than 0.05), and 30 percent (11.1 vs. 17.7 days, p less than 0.01) was shorter in the autologous group. The autologous group had more intense reticulocytosis during the first 4 postoperative days (p less than 0.03). The data show that participation in an aggressive autologous donation program improves the erythropoietic response to anemia in the postoperative setting. This represents a hidden benefit of preoperative autologous donations and suggests that more aggressive donation schedules may be clinically beneficial. Recognition of that acceleration of erythropoiesis by autologous donation could further reduce the need for transfusion of homologous blood.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: The value of acute normovolemic hemodilution (ANH) as compared to preoperative autologous blood donation (PABD) in orthopedic surgery is unknown. Therefore, a prospective, randomized study was conducted to compare these techniques in patients undergoing primary total hip arthroplasty. STUDY DESIGN AND METHODS: ANH patients underwent phlebotomy for up to 3 units, or to a target Hct level of 28 percent after induction of anesthesia. PABD patients were asked to donate up to 3 units before admission. RESULTS: Mean baseline Hct levels were not different in ANH and PABD patients (39. 7 +/- 4.5 vs. 41.8 +/- 3.8%, p = 0.09). No difference was found in allogeneic blood exposure among ANH and PABD cohorts: 4 (17%) of 23 ANH patients received a total of 9 allogeneic blood units, compared to no allogeneic transfusions in the PABD cohort (p = 0.30). Total blood costs associated with ANH were significantly (p<0.05) lower than blood costs associated with PABD ($151 +/- 154 vs. $680 +/- 253, respectively). CONCLUSION: In patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty, ANH is safe, can be considered equivalent to PABD in effectively reducing exposure to allogeneic RBCs, and is less costly than PABD.  相似文献

Preoperative autologous blood donation in Canada has increased in the last decade due to concerns about allogeneic blood safety. As economic policies necessitate the validation of autologous blood donation, it is important to assess potential changes. This study examines the motivations and perceptions of patients participating in a Canadian autologous blood donation programme. The study was conducted at the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus. Questionnaires were developed and then administered to 100 consecutive adult autologous blood donors. The questionnaires assessed patient demographics, motivation for participation and perceptions about blood safety. Autologous donation was presented to 82% of patients as an option by their physicians. However, 59% of all patients felt that they were motivated to donate by their own fears. Patients (87%) also felt that directed blood donation should be offered due to their perception that directed donation is safer. Three-quarters of patients would be willing to pay for autologous donation. Patients are concerned about the safety of allogeneic blood and they are motivated to seek other alternatives despite the fact that allogeneic blood is very safe. These perceptions and motivations must be taken into account as health care policy changes are considered.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: The objectives of this analysis were 1) to compare the sociodemographic characteristics of donors and nondonors, 2) to describe the channels through which Dakar's population is made aware of blood donation, and 3) to analyze the motivations and barriers to blood donation expressed by donors and nondonors. STUDY DESIGN AND METHOD: A survey of 600 individuals age 20 and older representative of Dakar's population was conducted in 2009 to analyze awareness of blood donation, donor characteristics, and barriers and motivations to blood donation. RESULTS: A total of 94.7% of the respondents had already heard of giving blood and 25.8% had already donated. Men and individuals age 40 and over are overrepresented among donors (chi‐square [1 ddl] = 19.54, p < 0.001; chi‐square [3 ddl] = 14.24, p < 0.01). Those with higher education were also more likely to be donors (chi‐square [4 ddl] = 38.91, p < 0.001). Main motivations to blood donation are altruism (43%) and awareness of a blood shortage (20.33%). Never having been contacted to give blood is the number one obstacle to blood donation (37.31%). CONCLUSIONS: In Dakar, the vast majority of people are familiar with the practice of giving blood. The sociodemographic characteristics of blood donors, and the main motivations and barriers to blood donation are the same in Dakar as in other countries, but this study also demonstrates the importance to inform Dakarites that blood donation does not amount to a blood test, that donating is not harmful for one's health, and that the blood donated is quickly regenerated.  相似文献

Preoperative autologous blood donation for elective surgery patients at university hospitals was underused in the past. More recently, national educational efforts have been made. To test the impact of local surgeon interviews and education, in 1988 the same local educational program was instituted at three university hospitals; three community hospitals were used as controls. Donation by appropriate patients of interviewed surgeons (elective surgery, crossmatch recommended, no contraindications to donation) increased from 24 percent (44/180) to 40 percent (88/222) (p = 0.002) and 15 percent (21/143) to 32 percent (41/127) (p = 0.001) at two university hospitals where the investigator-educators were on site, but not at the three community hospitals. Between 1987 and 1989, donation rates at all six hospitals remained low among patients for whom autologous donation was (probably) less appropriate. Donation rates for type and screen procedures were 3.0 percent (131/4587) in 1987 and 3.0 percent (199/6606) in 1989 (p = 0.67). Donation rates for "no blood order" procedures were 0.2 percent (15/9429) in 1987 and 0.1 percent (9/11,239) in 1989 (p = 0.14). It can be concluded that appropriate autologous blood donations increased at university hospitals where surgeons were individually interviewed and educated by an investigator on site. However, despite this increase, apparently eligible elective surgery patients in 1989 still failed to donate. This situation deserves additional investigation.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: There are few published data on severe outcomes of the donation of blood for allogeneic or autologous use. It would be helpful if blood collectors could better characterize and/or predict the likelihood of significant complications of blood donation. STUDY DESIGN AND METHODS: Very severe outcome (VSO) was defined as an event requiring hospitalization. Approximately 4.1 million American Red Cross whole-blood donation records (July 1993-March 1994) were reviewed for the incidence and type of VSO. RESULTS: A total of 33 VSOs occurred for all donations. The incidence of VSOs for allogeneic donation was 1 (0.0005%) in 198,119 and that for autologous donation was 1 (0.006%) in 16,783 (p < 0.001). First-time donors were three times as likely to have a VSO. Donors > 40 years old had 87.9 percent of the VSOs, and donors > 60 years old had 48.5 percent. Vasovagal (66.7%) and anginal (12.1%) episodes were the most frequent complications, and 66.7 percent of reactions occurred at the blood collection site. The mean hospital stay was 1.9 days. CONCLUSION: VSO is an infrequent complication of all types of blood donation, but its occurrence may be associated with significant morbidity and cost. VSO is nearly 12 times as likely in autologous blood donors.  相似文献
