Objectives

The short-term effects of low-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) in the patients with catastrophic and intractable tinnitus were investigated.

Methods

Fifteen participants were recruited among patients with catastrophic intractable tinnitus to receive 1 Hz rTMS treatment. Tinnitus severity was assessed before rTMS and directly after sham or real rTMS using the tinnitus handicap inventory (THI) and visual analog scale (VAS).

Results

There was no statistical difference in the THI score before and after sham stimulation. However, after 5 replications of real rTMS there was statistically significant reduction in THI score. Eight patients showed a decrease of more than 10 in THI score. Patients who showed a vast change in THI score after rTMS also showed a large decrease in their VAS score (r=0.879, P<0.001). Duration of tinnitus and change of THI score showed statistically significant moderate negative correlation (r=-0.637, P=0.011). But in case of VAS, there was no significant difference between VAS and duration of tinnitus.

Conclusion

Among total 15 patients with catastrophic intractable chronic tinnitus, eight patients showed some improvement in symptoms after 1 Hz rTMS. rTMS can be considered management modality for intractable tinnitus even with distress as severe as catastrophic stage.  相似文献

Objective

A few chronic tinnitus patients show normal hearing thresholds in the pure tone audiometry from 125 Hz to 8000 Hz (≤20 dB). We report the characteristics of the course of those patients underwent tinnitus retraining therapy (TRT) compared with other patients suffering from chronic and severe tinnitus.

Methods

We identified 13 patients with normal hearing thresholds among 242 patients suffering over 3 months, Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI) ≥16/100, and follow up period is over 6 months. We divided into two groups – tinnitus with normal audiometry and with hearing loss – and contrasted these patients with age, gender, tinnitus duration, instruments for TRT, loudness and pitch of the tinnitus, THI and Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) scores.

Results

The pitch-match of the tinnitus was higher and tinnitus duration was shorter in normal audiometry. The age is younger and the tinnitus loudness was smaller in normal hearing group significantly. THI of normal audiogram group showed significant improvement on 18 months treatment, though it once got worse on 12 months. THI of hearing loss group showed significant decreases in first 3 months and decreased slightly until 48 months treatment. The VAS scores of annoyance also showed a large decrease in first 3 months and decreased slightly until 24 months. Both THI after 48 months and VAS scores after 24 months treatment showed almost stable until 72 months in hearing loss group.

Conclusion

Chronic tinnitus with normal audiometry and with hearing loss both showed adaptation with TRT. Normal audiometry group with chronic tinnitus may have damage in high frequency though there were not significant differences between two groups as to tinnitus pitch-match. They also need at least 18 months TRT to become adaptation, while 48 months treatment is enough and first 3 months treatment is very important for hearing loss with chronic tinnitus.  相似文献

Objectives

The authors have treated chronic tinnitus patients using a combination of a simplified tinnitus retraining therapy (TRT) and medications, which we called modified TRT. In this clinical setting, we have attempted small-group counseling to find a time-effective equivalent of individual counseling. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effectiveness of small-group counseling by comparing the treatment outcomes between individual and small-group counseling.

Methods

The patients who had distressing chronic tinnitus with normal hearing or mild hearing loss were included. The subjects were placed into the small-group (group 1:4) or the individual (group 1:1) counseling group, and underwent a modified TRT composed of a single session of directive counseling and ambient sound stimulation. In addition, alprazolam (0.25 mg) and ginkgo biloba extract (80 mg) were administered orally to the subjects for 3 months. The 3- and 6- month outcomes were assessed using the follow-up rates and tinnitus severity scores: awareness, tinnitus handicap inventory (THI), loudness, annoyance, and effect on life. The treatment responses were classified as improvement, no changes, and worsening.

Results

Of the total 149 patients (77 in group 1:1; 72 in group 1:4), 104 patients completed the protocol at 3 months, and 55 patients at 6 months. The follow-up rates were similar in both groups. Over the period of 6 months, all scores declined significantly except the loudness score at 3 months in both groups. Treatment responses showed no between-group differences. The success rate based on THI was 70% in group 1:1, and 64% in group 1:4 at 6 months.

Conclusion

The small-group counseling of our modified TRT was comparable to the individual counseling for tinnitus relief. We suggest that this protocol can be implemented effectively in any crowded otolaryngology clinics.  相似文献

Objective

There is compelling evidence that tinnitus is associated with functional alterations in the central nervous system. Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is a potent tool for modifying neural activity at the stimulated area and at a distance along the functional anatomical connections. Depending on the stimulation parameters, cortical networks can be functionally disturbed or modulated in their activities. Low-frequency rTMS has been shown to result in a decrease in cortical excitability. The technique can alleviate tinnitus by modulating the excitability of neurons in the auditory cortex. We aimed to investigate the effects of low-frequency rTMS in patients and determine the factors that predict a beneficial outcome with rTMS treatment.

Methods

Sixteen patients (male 10, female 6) with chronic tinnitus underwent low-frequency (1 Hz) rTMS (intensity: 110% motor threshold; number of stimuli: 1200) to the left auditory cortex. The treatment outcome was assessed with a visual analog scale (VAS) of loudness, annoyance and duration, loudness balance test, and tinnitus handicap inventory (THI). Therapeutic success was studied according to the patients’ clinical characteristics.

Results

A significant reduction in the VAS (loudness and annoyance) occurred immediately after rTMS, with a gradual return to pretreatment levels after 7 days. The tinnitus patients with sudden deafness were significant resistant to rTMS treatment compared with those diagnosed with age-related hearing loss.

Conclusion

These results support the potential of rTMS as a new therapeutic tool for the treatment of chronic tinnitus. Because this study was performed with a small sample size and showed high interindividual variability in treatment effects, further development of the technique is needed before it can be recommended for clinical applications.  相似文献

One of the most criticized points in tinnitus clinical studies arise from the lack of consensus about measurement methods.AimTo evaluate the correlation between audiometric thresholds, pitch matching (PM), minimum masking level (MML), Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI) and the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) in tinnitus patients.Study designProspective, cross-sectional.Materials and methodsSubjects were submitted to tonal audiometry, PM and MML for tinnitus. They also filled out the THI and BDI. Data was statistically compared for correlation purposes between audiometric thresholds, psycho-acoustic measures and questionnaires.ResultsThere was no statistically significant correlation between THI and MML, both in patients with BDI scores under and over 14 points. There was no statistically significant correlation between the worst hearing frequency and PM, as well as between the cut-off frequency and the PM in patients with descending hearing curves in their audiograms.ConclusionsThere is no statistically significant correlation between psycho-acoustic measures (PM and MML), audiometric thresholds, THI and BDI. Tinnitus is a very complex symptom and isolated measures by psycho-acoustic methods; tinnitus and depression questionnaires are not satisfactory.  相似文献

We aim to assess the correlation between audiometric data, and psychotic and acoustic measures associated with subjective tinnitus (ST) and to clarify the importance of the psychological process in determining the degree of subjective annoyance and disability due to tinnitus. Fifty-four patients experiencing unilateral ST were allocated for the study. Acoustic assessment of patients including LDL (loudness discomfort levels), MML (minimum masking level) and RI (residual inhibition) was performed. Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and Visual Analog Scale (VAS) tests were performed for the psychological aspects of subjective annoyance. RI was positive in 23 patients with 13 frequency-matched stimuli at 8,000 Hz. Masking treatment response was successful in 16 RI-positive patients. Mean and standard deviation (SD) of THI scores were 38.77 ± 23.63. Ten patients (%18.51) with tinnitus had ≥17 points score, which was significant for BDI. Mean and SD were 5.01 ± 2.31 for VAS-1 scores (severity of tinnitus), 7.98 ± 2.79 for VAS-2 (frequency and duration of tinnitus), 5.77 ± 2.72 for VAS-3 (discomfort level), 3.56 ± 3.30 for VAS-4 (attention deficit) and 3.31 ± 3.31 for VAS-5 (sleep disorders). A significant correlation was found between the tinnitus duration time, age, gender and THI scores (P < 0.05). There were statistically significant correlations between VAS 1, 2, 3 scores and LDL, MML and RI (P > 0.05). RI might be largely frequency dependent and was found as an indicator for the masking treatment response. We did not notice statistically significant correlations between audiometric data and THI and BDI. There were correlations between with VAS and LDL and with MML and RI. VAS was simpler and easier for the assessment of ST. We should consider the psychological aspects of ST and assess it as a symptom separately with acoustic and psychotic tests.  相似文献

Purpose

The aim of our study was to determine whether the combination of intratympanic (IT) corticosteroid with melatonin could be associated with decreased tinnitus in patients with unilateral acute idiopathic tinnitus developed within 3 months.

Materials and methods

We evaluated this hypothesis through a prospective, randomized, controlled, double-blinded trial. Patients included in the study were randomly allocated into two groups: Group A – comprising 30 patients, received melatonin and IT dexamethazone, and Group B – including 30 patients receiving melatonin alone. After 3 months, improvement in tinnitus was assessed using different outcome measures: tinnitus loudness score, tinnitus awareness score, Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and Beck Depression Inventory (BDI).

Results

We have demonstrated significant improvements in each of the above mentioned outcomes subsequent to treatment in both groups. However, patients in the IT dexamathazone and melatonin group attained statistically significant better outcomes. Besides, the differences in improvement rate and cure rate were highly significant between the two groups, favoring the IT dexamethazone and melatonin group.

Conclusions

Our preliminary study demonstrated that IT dexamethazone plus melatonin is efficient in improvement of idiopathic unilateral tinnitus developed within 3 months.  相似文献

Purpose

Vagal nerve stimulation in conjunction with sound therapy has been proposed as a treatment for subjective tinnitus. The purpose of this study is to retrospectively review the effect of VNS on perception of tinnitus in epilepsy patients. We explore the incidence of tinnitus and its perceived reduction in patients requiring implantation of VNS for medically refractory seizures.

Materials and methods

A phone survey was conducted in adult patients with prior VNS implantation. A questionnaire including the visual analog scale (VAS) of tinnitus loudness was used to determine the presence and severity of tinnitus.

Results

Out of the 56 patients who had completed the phone survey, 20 (35%) reported the presence of pre-operative tinnitus. The tinnitus positive group was significantly older (p?=?0.019). Of the 20 pre-operative tinnitus positive patients, all patients continued to have tinnitus post-operatively. Four (20%) noted no changes in VAS of tinnitus loudness while 16 (80%) had at least a one-point decrease. The mean difference between pre- and post-operative VAS of loudness was 2.05, with a standard deviation of 1.84 and this was statistically significant (p?<?0.001).

Conclusions

In this study, we evaluate the potential of vagal nerve stimulation to alter the perception of tinnitus in patients with refractory epilepsy. Eighty percent of patients noted some level of subjective tinnitus improvement after VNS implantation. Given this finding, there may be a potential additional benefit to the use of VNS in patients with epilepsy.  相似文献

Objectives

The Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI) is a commonly used self-reporting tinnitus questionnaire. We undertook this study to determine the reliability and validity of the Chinese-Mandarin version of the Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI-CM) for measuring tinnitus-related handicaps.

Methods

We tested the test-retest reliability, internal reliability, and construct validity of the THI-CM. Two-hundred patients seeking treatment for primary or secondary tinnitus in Southwest China were asked to complete THI-CM prior to clinical evaluation. Patients were evaluated by a clinician using standard methods, and 40 patients were asked to complete THI-CM a second time 14±3 days after the initial interview.

Results

The test-retest reliability of THI-CM was high (Pearson correlation, 0.98), as was the internal reliability (Cronbach''s α, 0.93). Factor analysis indicated that THI-CM has a unifactorial structure.

Conclusion

The THI-CM version is reliable. The total score in THI-CM can be used to measure tinnitus-related handicaps in Mandarin-speaking populations.  相似文献

Objective

Tinnitus retraining therapy (TRT), which is an adaptation therapy for tinnitus based on the neurophysiological model proposed by Jastreboff in 1990,consists of directive counseling and acoustic therapy with a tinnitus control instrument (TCI) or other devices. For the past 5 years, our hospital has administered TRT characterized by the use of a TCI.

Method

In this study, we reviewed the clinical course of patients with tinnitus who presented to our outpatient clinic for tinnitus and hearing loss during the 3-year period from April 2004 to March 2007 and underwent TRT with a TCI. Among 188 patients with tinnitus (105 males and 83 females), 88 patients (51 males and 37 females, excluding dropouts) who purchased a TCI and continued therapy were included in the study.

Results

Significant improvement in Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI) and Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) scores was found as early as 1 month of treatment and later compared with those on initial examination, suggesting that TRT with a TCI may be an effective treatment for tinnitus. Among the noises generated by the TCI, the sound pressure output from the TCI was set at just below tinnitus loudness level both of the first adjustment and the second adjustment. Speech noise and white noise were frequently selected, whereas high-frequency noise and pink noise were infrequently selected. Speech noise was most frequently selected at the first adjustment, and the number of patients selecting white noise increased at the second adjustment. The results that we compared the two also revealed that the mean hearing level and tinnitus loudness levels were higher in the white noise group than in the speech noise group, which suggested that the inner ear disorder was more harder in the white noise group. Both the THI score and VAS grade improved after 1 month of treatment in the speech noise group, whereas improvement in these parameters was observed in the white noise group after 6 months of treatment. These results suggest that it took much longer the patients in the white noise group to improve.

Conclusion

: Significant improvement in THI and VAS scores was found as early as 1 month of treatment and later compared with those on initial examination, suggesting that TRT with a TCI may be an effective treatment for tinnitus. It resulted that many patients chose the speech noise or the white noise. And also it was indicated that noise generators set at just below mixing point with tinnitus are more effective. In this study, however, speech noise was often selected probably because of the reduced output at high frequencies and the level of comfort. As white noise produces greater sound volume, patients tended to switch from other therapeutic sound to white noise at the second adjustment. These findings may help administer acoustic therapy in the future.  相似文献

Objectives

The aim of present study was to determine the relationship between serum zinc level and tinnitus using data from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES).

Methods

The present study examined the relationship between serum zinc level and tinnitus using data from the KNHANES. A total of 2,225 KNHANES participants responded to the tinnitus questionnaire and provided blood samples to measure serum zinc concentration. Based on questionnaire responses, participants were categorized into control, mild tinnitus, moderate tinnitus, and severe tinnitus subgroups.

Results

There were no significant differences between groups in serum zinc level after adjustment for sex, age, and hearing loss.

Conclusion

It was concluded that hypozincemia is not related to tinnitus in a large population.  相似文献

Purpose

We intend to assess the effectiveness of a novel tinnitus treatment therapy, the Cochleural Alternating Acoustic Beam Therapy (CAABT) using the psychoacoustic measures, the questionnaires and rs-fMRI.

Materials and methods

In this study, we enrolled 11 older than 18?years old Chinese patients with normal hearing who had unilateral, chronic (longer than 6?months), sensorineural tinnitus, of frequencies between 125–8000?Hz, and an average loudness of 31?dB. The patients underwent the treatment with the CAABT method for 12?weeks and the outcomes were evaluated with tinnitus questionnaire scores, a set of psychoacoustic measures, and rs-fMRI testing before treatment and at 3?months. This was an earlier study of the controlled randomized clinical trial which was registered with ClinicalTrials.gov, number NCT02774122.

Results

Almost all the patients reported reduced tinnitus annoyance after the three-month treatment. The THI and VAS scores showed decreased tinnitus severity. The rs-fMRI results indicated that the right middle frontal gyrus and the right superior temporal gyrus displayed noticeable decreases of the ReHo values for the subjects between the before and after treatment, supporting the clinical evidence of significant tinnitus reduction.

Conclusion

The therapy seemed effective in patients of varying severities, and no side effects were observed in this trial. The CAABT can be an alternative for those who are suitable for sound therapy once a large scale of and better controlled clinical studies have validated the findings of this experiment.  相似文献

Objective

The purpose of this study was to investigate properties of tinnitus which starts after cochlear implantation. Of the 17 adult patients in our cochlear implant group, four (23.5%) who had no pre-implantation tinnitus were eligible for the study.

Methods

Each patient was requested to complete a short questionnaire regarding his or her experience with tinnitus. Tinnitus match test was performed for each patient by using an Interacoustic Clinical Audiometer (model AC40; Assens, Denmark).

Results

Tinnitus match test revealed a tinnitus frequency of a 4 KHz for three and of a 6 KHz for one patient. Mean value of the loudness score was calculated as 17.5 dB SL.

Conclusions

The results of this study emphasize the importance of counseling patients regarding risks of tinnitus after cochlear implantation.  相似文献

Objectives

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the internal auditory canal (IAC) and the nerves inside it to define possible structural differences in cases with subjective tinnitus of unknown origin.

Methods

Cases applying to the ear, nose and throat department with the complaint of tinnitus with unknown origin and having normal physical examination and test results were included in the study (n=78). Patients admitted to the radiology clinic for routine cranial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and whose MRI findings revealed no pathologies were enrolled as the control group (n=79). Data for the control group were obtained from the radiology department and informed consent was obtained from all the patients. Diameters of the IAC and the nerves inside it were measured through enhanced images obtained by routine temporal bone MRIs in all cases. Statistical evaluations were performed using Student t-test and statistical significance was defined as P<0.05.

Results

Measurements of IAC diameters revealed statistically significant differences between the controls and the tinnitus group (P<0.05). Regarding the diameters of the cochlear nerve, facial nerve, inferior vestibular nerve, superior vestibular nerve, and total vestibular nerve, no statistically significant difference was found between the controls and the tinnitus group.

Conclusion

Narrowed IAC has to be assessed as an etiological factor in cases with subjective tinnitus of unknown origin.  相似文献

Objective

Several published studies seem to confirm the clinical observation that cochlear implants (CI) have a suppressive effect on tinnitus in most CI users. The aim of this paper is to present our personal experiences on tinnitus improvement after cochlear implantation.

Methods

Before surgery, 51 post-lingually profoundly deaf adults, who underwent cochlear implantation between 2005 and 2007, filled out a questionnaire reporting tinnitus characteristics and the Italian version of the Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI-I). Moreover, they were asked to scale tinnitus loudness and annoyance. Six months after implant activation, patients repeated the same evaluations. Scores were statistically analysed by means of a Wilcoxon signed ranks test on the hypothesis that a CI could change the tinnitus magnitude and/or its annoyance.

Results

In our series of 36 patients, 36.10% reported total loudness suppression and another 41.6% reported a reduction. Annoyance scores reduced in 75% of patients. THI reduced in 72.2% of patients.

Conclusion

Tinnitus reduction after CI may manifest as several mechanisms, such as habituation, acoustic masking, direct electrical nerve stimulation and cortical reorganization. Nevertheless, it is our opinion that data on CI benefits on tinnitus should be interpreted with caution and it seems reasonable to admit that further data is still necessary before considering CI as a treatment of tinnitus especially in unilateral deafness.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to determine the reliability and validity of a Danish translation of the Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI), a self-report measure of perceived tinnitus handicap. The Danish version of the THI was administered to 50 patients reporting tinnitus as their primary complaint or secondary to hearing loss. Construct validity was assessed using tinnitus symptom rating scales, the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), the Tinnitus Coping Style Questionnaire (TCSQ), the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ), and perceived tinnitus loudness and pitch. The Danish translation of the THI and its subscales showed good internal consistency reliabilities (c = 0.93 to alpha = 0.74) comparable to those of the original version. High to moderate correlations were observed between THI and psychological distress, tinnitus symptom ratings, neuroticism and maladaptive tinnitus coping. A confirmatory factor analysis failed to validate the three subscales of THI, and high intercorrelations found between the subscales question whether they represent three distinct factors. The results suggest that the Danish THI-Total scale may be a reliable and valid measure of general tinnitus related distress that can be used in a clinical setting to quantify the impact of tinnitus on daily living.  相似文献

Objectives

To compare tinnitus patients who have normal hearing between 250 Hz and 8 kHz with normal controls with regard to the ability of each group to hear extended high-frequency pure tone thresholds.

Methods

We enrolled 18 tinnitus patients, each of whom had a threshold of HL <25 dB and threshold differences of <10 dB between ears at frequencies of 250 and 500 Hz and 1, 2, 4, and 8 kHz. We also enrolled age- and gender-matched normal volunteers (10 ears), for each patient. Extended high frequency pure tone audiometry was performed, and the mean hearing thresholds at 10, 12, 14, and 16 kHz of each tinnitus ear were compared with those of the 10 age- and sex-matched normal ears.

Results

Of the 18 patients with tinnitus, 12 had significantly increased hearing thresholds at more than one of the four high frequencies, compared with the normal group. When we assessed results according to frequency, we found that 8 patients had decreased hearing ability at 10 kHz, 10 at 12 kHz, 8 at 14 kHz, and 4 at 16 kHz.

Conclusion

Some patients with tinnitus who have normal hearing below 8 kHz have decreased hearing ability at extended high-frequencies. Thus, the proportion of patients with tinnitus who have normal hearing over the entire audible range is smaller than in previous reports.  相似文献

Acoustic deprivation, i.e. hearing loss, is responsible for a cascade of processes resulting in reorganisation of the cortex. Tinnitus mechanisms are explained by synchronization of the neural spontaneous activity and might be related to cortical re-mapping. Auditory discrimination training (ADT) has demonstrated in both animals and humans to induce tonotopical changes in the auditory pathways through neural plasticity. We hypothesize that ADT could have some effect on tinnitus perception. The objective of this study is to compare the effect on tinnitus following two paradigms of ADT. Only patients from 20 to 60 years of age were recruited. Inclusion criteria were pure tone tinnitus of mild or moderate handicap according to the Tinnitus Handicap Inventory score (<56). ADT patients were randomized in two groups: SAME (ADT in the same frequency of tinnitus pitch, 20 patients) and NONSAME (ADT in the frequency one-octave below tinnitus pitch, 21 patients). Groups of pair of tones (70% standard tones ST, 30% deviant tones ST + 0.1–0.5 kHz) were randomly mixed for 20 min/day during 1 month. Patient had to mark when the two sounds of the pair were similar or different. Control group included 26 patients from the waiting list (WLG). Patients were also divided according to the trained frequency and the deepest hearing-impaired frequency. Outcome parameters were set up according to the answer to the question “is your tinnitus better, same, or worse with the treatment?” (RESP), the tinnitus handicap inventory (THI) and the visual analogue scale from 1 to 10 on tinnitus intensity (VAS). Tinnitus improved in 42.2% of the patients (RESP). VAS and THI scores were reduced but only THI differences were statistically significant (P = 0.003). ADT patients improved significantly compared with WLG in RESP and THI scores (P < 0.01). Training frequencies one-octave below the tinnitus pitch (NONSAME) decreased significantly THI scores compared with patients trained frequencies similar to tinnitus pitch (SAME, P = 0.035). RESP and VAS scores decreased more in NONSAME group though differences were not significant. We did not find any differences when comparing the group training the deepest hearing-impaired frequency and the group who trained other frequencies. Auditory discrimination training significantly improved tinnitus handicap compared to a waiting list group. Those patients who trained frequencies one octave below the tinnitus pitch had better outcome than those who performed the ADT with frequencies similar to the tinnitus pitch (P = 0.035)  相似文献

ObjectivesThis study investigated the effect of an active transcutaneous bone conduction implant (BoneBridge?) in the management of tinnitus in patients with unilateral sensorineural hearing loss.MethodsFrom October 2016 to July 2018, 15 patients with unilateral tinnitus accompanied by ipsilateral sensorineural hearing loss received BoneBridge? implants. Pure-tone average, tinnitus handicap inventory (THI), and a visual analogue scale (VAS) for awareness, loudness, and annoyance were measured before and 6 months after surgery. We defined improvement as a reduction of more than 20% between preoperative and postoperative VAS and THI scores, and changes in the THI of over 7 points were also assessed.ResultsMean THI scores before surgery (72.8 ± 16.1) had significantly improved by 6 months postoperatively (50.9 ± 18.9) (p = 0.003). VAS scores for loudness and annoyance also statistically significantly improved (p = 0.011 and 0.002). The amount of functional hearing gain correlated with changes in VAS scores for annoyance. This correlation was stronger with the improvement of high frequency hearing.ConclusionBoneBridge? is beneficial in patients with tinnitus accompanied by sensorineural hearing loss. This finding can help select patients who will benefit most from bone conduction implants.  相似文献
