The purpose of the study was to evaluate the effect of MTAD in comparison with EDTA as a final rinse on the shear bond strength of Kerr, Apexit and AH plus. Dentine surfaces of 135 extracted human non-carious maxillary premolars were divided into three groups (n = 45). Groups I and II were conditioned with 1.3% NaOCl for 20 min, followed by a final rinse of 17% EDTA for 1 min and MTAD for 5 min respectively. Group III was treated with distilled water. Each group was further divided into three subgroups (n = 15). Subgroup 1: Kerr, Subgroup 2: Apexit and Subgroup 3: AH plus. Three-millimetre-long sections of polyethylene tubes were filled with freshly mixed sealer and placed on the dentine surfaces. The bonding between the sealer and dentine surface was evaluated using shear bond testing. The values were statistically evaluated using one way anova followed by Tukey's test. Significant difference was found among the bond strength of the sealers and irrigating regimes. AH plus showed superior bond strength among the tested sealers, when EDTA was employed as the final rinse (P < 0.05). MTAD as a final rinse affected the bond strength of AH plus and Apexit, which were significantly lower than the control group.  相似文献

Summary The aim of this in vitro study was to test the effect of different post systems on fracture strength of roots with re‐attached fragments. Root canals of eighty extracted single‐rooted human teeth were instrumented (ProFile) and randomly divided into two groups. The roots in the first group were vertically cracked, and the fragments were re‐attached using Super Bond C&B (Sun Medical, Tokya, Japan). The roots in the second group were kept sound. Obturation of the roots was performed with MetaSEAL (Sun Medical) and gutta‐percha. Post spaces were prepared, and the roots were restored with one of the followings: UniCore (Ultradent), Everstick (Stick Tech), Ribbond (Ribbond), ParaPost (Coltene/Whaledent) (n = 10). Four mm high build‐ups were created (Clearfil DC Bond Core; Kuraray, Tokyo, Japan). Compressive loading of the samples was performed after 24 h (1 mm min?1). Mean load necessary to fracture each sample was recorded (Newton) and statistically analysed (One‐way anova , t‐tests). ParaPost showed the highest fracture strength among the roots with re‐attached fragments (P < 0.05). UniCore and ParaPost systems showed similar fracture strength in the sound roots (P > 0.05). Re‐attached fragments significantly reduced the fracture strength of roots in UniCore group (P = 0.000). Ribbond post showed mostly repairable fractures. Metal post (ParaPost) showed the highest fracture strength in the roots with re‐attached fragments; however, fracture pattern was 41% non‐repairable. Re‐attached fragments significantly reduced the fracture strength of the roots in UniCore group. Prefabricated posts showed similar fracture strength in the sound roots. Customized post systems EverStick and Ribbond showed mostly repairable failure after loading in sound roots or roots with re‐attached fragments.  相似文献

目的:分析不同氧化锆基台对基台自身及钛种植体周围骨组织应力的影响,为氧化锆基台设计提供理论依据。方法:采用计算机辅助设计建立5种不同设计的氧化锆基台模型,并根据不同的基台模型设计了与之对应的种植体、牙槽骨及全瓷冠模型。用三维有限元方法对每个模型进行100N的斜向加载,分析不同氧化锆基台的设计对基台自身及牙槽骨应力分布及应力峰值的影响。结果:5种设计的等效应力的分布基本一致,基台的应力主集中在基台颈部连接体上方,皮质骨及松质骨的应力主集中于骨与种植体连接的最上方。5种设计等效应力的峰值不同,圆形连接体设计时氧化锆基台,皮质骨及松质骨的等效应力峰值均小于其他各设计组。结论:圆形连接体设计是本研究5种设计中氧化锆基台与钛种植体相连的最佳设计形式。  相似文献

Summary  Traditionally, using a long post can cause progressive removal of the root structure, complicate the ability to re-treat the tooth if necessary and make it difficult to apply an adhesive bonding agent into the root canal. It is unclear if a shorter post length can be applied when a light translucent glass fibre post and adhesive resin cement are used. The aim of this study was to evaluate the biomechanical performance of endodontically treated teeth restored with three post materials, glass-fibre, stainless steel and cast-nickel chromium posts and cores of different lengths of 7, 10 and 13 mm. A 3D finite element analysis model of the maxillary central incisor was constructed. An occlusal load of 300 N was applied to a node at the palatal surface of the crown at 45° to the long axis of the tooth. von Mises stress analyses were carried out in three regions. Simulated data were collected for plotting various pattern graphics and conducting statistical tests. The pattern graphics showed that when the post length changed from 13 to 7 mm, the stress patterns were even and flat in all fibre-post groups, while the stress patterns of the metal-post groups showed an M-shaped peak and trough. Statistical tests showed that the shorter fibre post was superior to the longer metal post in some situations. Within the limitations of this study, it was concluded that when a metal post is used, the post should be as long as possible, while the biomechanical performance of a glass-fibre post combined with a composite resin core was less sensitive to post length.  相似文献
