BACKGROUND: Women evaluated for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) may be at increased risk for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, a condition associated with cervical dysplasia. The distribution of HPV types in such a population is unknown. GOAL: The goal was to determine the prevalence of HPV infection, the distribution of HPV types, and the type distribution in relation to cervical dysplasia in women in an STD clinic. STUDY DESIGN: Cervicovaginal lavage and Papanicolaou smear specimens were obtained from 295 women. Lavage specimens were analyzed for HPV by polymerase chain reaction/reverse blot strip assay. RESULTS: Cervical cytologic findings were abnormal for 19.7% of women. HPV DNA was detected in 49.2% of women (high-risk HPV in 42.4%). HPV positivity correlated with the degree of cytologic abnormality. In women with dysplasia, HPV types 16, 66, 83, 56, 52, and 59 were commonly detected. Specimens containing abundant HPV DNA occurred most often in women with dysplasia. CONCLUSIONS: HPV infection was common in women attending an STD clinic. Numerous individual HPV types were associated with cervical dysplasia, including "low-risk" types.  相似文献

OBJECTIVES: Human papillomavirus (HPV) is considered a necessary cause of cervical cancer. The aim of the current study was to determine the burden of HPV infection among randomly sampled Danish women before the vaccine against HPV is implemented. Further we assessed the risk factor profile for prevalent high risk (HR) HPV infection and infection with multiple HR HPV types. METHODS: In the present cross-sectional study, we used baseline data from a population-based cohort study where participants were interviewed and had a gynecological examination. Cervical samples were analyzed for HR HPV using Hybrid capture 2 in 10,544 women aged 20-29 years and 1443 women aged 40-50 years. Genotyping was performed using LiPA. RESULTS: The prevalence of HR HPV was 17.9% and 4.4% in women aged 20-29 years and 40-50 years, respectively. HPV16 was the most common HR type overall and among women with abnormal cytology. Multiple HPV types were highly prevalent, notably in the younger cohort. Lifetime number of sexual partners was the main risk factor for HR HPV infection (adj. OR = 2.8 and OR = 3.4 for > or =15 partners vs. < or =4 in respectively younger and older women), whereas number of recent sexual partners was only associated with risk in younger women. Number of partners, oral contraceptive use and self-reported chlamydia infection increased the risk of having multiple HR HPV types (compared to having a single HR HPV type). CONCLUSIONS: HR HPV infection was common among younger women, with HPV16 as the predominant type. We confirmed the importance of sexual activity for the risk of HR HPV infection. In addition, we found that sexual behavior also play an important role for the risk of having multiple HR HPV types.  相似文献

OBJECTIVES: Genital infection with certain types of human papillomavirus (HPV) is the most important risk factor for cervical cancer. The male sexual partner is supposed to be the vector of the infection. However, the knowledge of risk factors for genital HPV DNA in men is limited. The objective of this paper is to study the risk factors for HPV infection in men and to compare them with those found in women, including the study of whether there are different risk profiles for oncogenic and non-oncogenic HPV types. METHODS: From a sexually transmitted diseases (STD) clinic in Denmark, 216 men were consecutively included. A personal interview was done and material for genital HPV DNA detection was obtained with swabs. HPV DNA was detected by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Odds ratios (OR) for HPV as well as for oncogenic and non-oncogenic types separately were computed with a 95% confidence interval (CI) by means of unconditional multiple logistic regresssion. RESULTS: The most important predictors of any HPV were lifetime number of sex partners (OR = 4.3; 95% CI 1.4 to 13.1 for 25-39 v 1-9 partners), young age, and being uncircumcised. The most important risk factor for oncogenic HPV types was lifetime number of partners, whereas number of partners in the past year and ever having genital warts were risk factors for the non-oncogenic HPV types. Young age predicted risk of both oncogenic and non-oncogenic HPV types. CONCLUSIONS: Most risk factors for HPV DNA detection in men resemble those found in women. As in women, the risk factor profile for the oncogenic HPV types was different from that of the non-oncogenic HPV types.  相似文献

目的:探讨人乳头瘤病毒及行为危险因素与子宫颈癌的临床关系。方法:通过分析2014年6月至2015年6月医院收治的203例HPV感染患者的临床资料,对患者临床资料进行整合,探讨HPV感染及相关行为危险因素及其同子宫颈癌的相关关系。结果:HPV感染并发宫颈癌患者中高危HPV患者占比显著高于低危HPV感染患者,比较差异有统计学意义(P0.05);两组患者行为危险因素中吸烟、首次性行为年龄、性伴侣个数、性卫生意识、孕次和避孕方式相关因素指标存在显著差异,有统计学意义(P0.05)。结论:高危型HPV感染是诱发子宫颈癌的高危因素,性行为及吸烟等行为危险因素同子宫颈癌发病有一定的相关性。  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Cervical cancer, a human papillomavirus (HPV)-caused neoplasia, is highly prevalent in Mexico. GOAL: To determine the prevalence of HPV infection in female sex workers (FSW) from Mexico City and to assess the association between HPV infection and the characteristics of these women. STUDY DESIGN: A questionnaire was applied to 495 FSW. Cervical cell specimens were obtained for DNA amplification and hybridization to detect 27 HPV types. A risk factor analysis was performed. RESULTS: The overall prevalence of HPV infection was 48.9%. The prevalence of high-risk HPV types was 43%, whereas that of low-risk types was 24.6%. A total of 18.8% of study participants was infected with both high-risk and low-risk HPV types, and 28.5% were infected with two or more HPV types. Younger age and failure to use a condom were independently associated HPV risks (odds ratio, 7.3 and 2.3; 95% CI, 3.5-15.0 and 1.2-4.4, respectively). CONCLUSIONS: Infection with high-risk and multiple HPV types is high among Mexican FSW. This study corroborated a higher infection rate in younger women. A higher risk of HPV infection is also observed in women who have been involved with sex work for less than 1 year. However, condom use showed a protective effect against HPV infection.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected women are at increased risk for developing cervical cancer and for infection with human papillomavirus (HPV). Prophylactic vaccines targeting HPV types 16 and 18 are being evaluated for efficacy among young women. GOAL: The goal was to assess the prevalence of HPV among HIV-infected pregnant women in Bangkok and to evaluate the need for prophylactic HPV vaccines studies in this population. STUDY DESIGN: The study population consisted of 256 HIV-infected pregnant women who participated in a mother-to-child HIV transmission trial. Stored cervicovaginal lavage samples were tested for the presence of HPV DNA by polymerase chain reaction with PGMY09/11 primers and reverse line-blot hybridization for determination of anogenital HPV types. RESULTS: HPV prevalence was 35.5% (91/256); high-risk HPV prevalence was 23.4% (60/256). HPV type 16 or 18 was present in 8.2% (21/256). Almost half of all infections were multiple. Furthermore, overall HPV detection was associated with abnormal cervical cytology (P<0.001) and higher HIV-plasma viral load (P=0.007). CONCLUSIONS: Only one-quarter of HIV-infected pregnant women in Bangkok had high-risk HPV types; less than 10% had HPV types 16 or 18. As the HPV prevalence is expected to increase during HIV disease, prophylactic vaccines targeting HPV types 16 and 18 should be studied among HIV-infected women not yet infected with these HPV types and not previously exposed.  相似文献

The base-line prevalence of human papillomavirus (HPV) infection among applicants for first trimester induced abortion and among a sexually transmitted disease (STD) clinic population with macroscopically visible condyloma is investigated. Cervical cells were collected from 505 women applying for induced abortion. Cell scrapes were obtained from the surface of the warts from 81 female and 32 male STD patients. HPV DNA 6/11, 16/18, and 31/33/35 were detected by a dot blot technique (ViraPap and ViraType, Life Technologies, Gaithersburg, MD). Of the 505 abortion applicants, 31 (6.1%) had HPV DNA. In the STD population, 64 (79.0%) patients had positive test results for HPV DNA from cervical, introital cell scrapes, or both. Of the 32 male STD patients from whom preputial, urethral samples, or both were taken, 24 (75%) had HPV DNA. After typing, the relative proportion of HPV 6/11 was 9.7% in abortion applicants, 72.2% in female STD patients, and 91.3% in male STD patients. The relative proportion of high-risk HPV types, such as 16/18 and 31/33/35, was 89.7% among abortion applicants, 38.9% among female STD patients and 13.0% among male STD patients. The majority of abortion applicants infected with HPV were thus infected with a potentially oncogenic HPV type, and the prevalence of HPV type 16/18 and 31/33/35 was also high among female STD patients.  相似文献

OBJECTIVES: To determine the prevalence of high risk human papillomavirus (HPV) types in Nicaraguan women with histological proved pre-neoplastic and neoplastic cervical lesions, and to assess its potential impact on preventive strategies. METHODS: 206 women with histopathological confirmed cervical lesions (CIN I or worse) were screened for HPV DNA on a liquid based cytology sample, using an HPV short fragment polymerase chain reaction based assay. HPV positive samples were genotyped with a reverse hybridisation line probe assay (Lipa). HPV negative samples were re-analysed using type specific real time polymerase chain reaction. RESULTS: Of all lesions CIN II or worse, 12% tested negative. Prevalence of high risk HPV increased from 48.1% in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia I (CIN I) to 94.7% in invasive squamous cervical carcinoma (SCC). The most prevalent high risk HPV types were, in order of prevalence rate, HPV 16, 58, 31 and 52. HPV 16 and/or HPV 31 were present in 63.2% of SCC cases. CONCLUSION: Targeting HPV 16 and 31 with prophylactic vaccines could possibly have an important impact on the incidence of invasive cervical carcinoma in Nicaragua. Further research is needed to define the oncogenic potential of other high prevalent HPV genotypes. Meanwhile, primary prevention and cervical cancer screening programmes should be optimised.  相似文献

OBJECTIVES: To estimate the prevalence and risk factors of high risk human papillomavirus (HPV) infection in migrant female sex workers (FSW) according to age and geographical origin. METHODS: Cross sectional study of migrant FSW attending a sexually transmitted infection (STI) clinic in Madrid during 2002. Information on sociodemographic characteristics, reproductive and sexual health, smoking, time in commercial sex work, history of STIs, HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, syphilis, and genitourinary infections was collected. High risk HPV Infection was determined through the Digene HPV Test, Hybrid Capture II. Data were analysed through multiple logistic regression. RESULTS: 734 women were studied. Overall HPV prevalence was 39%; 61% in eastern Europeans, 42% in Ecuadorians, 39% in Colombians, 29% in sub-Saharan Africans, and 24% in Caribbeans (p = 0.057). HPV prevalence showed a decreasing trend by age; 49% under 20 years, 35% in 21-25 years,14% over 36 years% (p<0.005). In multivariate analyses, area of origin (p = 0.07), hormonal contraception in women not using condoms (OR 19.45 95% CI: 2.45 to 154.27), smoking, age, and an interaction between these last two variables (p = 0.039) had statistically significant associations with HPV prevalence. STI prevalence was 11% and was not related to age or geographical origin. CONCLUSIONS: High risk HPV prevalence in migrant FSW is elevated and related to age, area of origin, and use of oral contraceptives in women not using condoms. These data support the role of acquired immunity in the epidemiology of HPV infection and identifies migrant FSW as a priority group for sexual health promotion.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Genital human papillomavirus infection (HPV) is causally associated with cervical carcinomas and premalignant lesions. Limited information is available about the prevalence of HPV and penile lesions in male sexual partners of women with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN). OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to identify the presence of penile lesions and HPV in penile scrapings from male sexual partners of women with CIN. METHODS: One hundred seventy-five male sexual partners of women with CIN were screened by peniscopy after acetowhite staining and HPV testing on penile scrapings. RESULTS: Penile lesions were seen in 68% of the male sexual partners. More than one lesion type was diagnosed in 15%. Flat lesions, papular lesions, and condylomata acuminata were seen in 83%, 29%, and 4%, respectively. HPV was detected in 59% of the penile scrapings, containing mainly oncogenic HPV types. When penile lesions were present at peniscopy, 67% of penile scrapings were positive for HPV, whereas 37% were HPV-positive when no lesions were visible. CONCLUSIONS: Penile lesions are frequently found in sexual partners of women with CIN. Most of these lesions are subclinical (ie, only visible after acetowhite staining) and are often associated with the presence of high-risk HPV, indicating that male sexual partners of women with CIN might constitute a reservoir for high-risk HPV.  相似文献

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Human papillomavirus (HPV) is the primary cause of cervical, anal, and other anogenital cancers, but risk factors for penile HPV detection in men have not been well-characterized. GOAL: The goal of this study was to identify correlates of penile HPV detection in ethnically diverse men attending a sexually transmitted disease clinic. STUDY: A cross-sectional investigation was conducted among 393 men. Participants completed a risk-factor questionnaire and underwent testing for penile HPV DNA. Presence of HPV DNA was assessed using polymerase chain reaction with PGMY primers and reverse line blot genotyping. Logistic regression analyses were conducted to identify variables associated with any-type, oncogenic, and nononcogenic HPV. RESULTS: Circumcision was associated with reduced risk for oncogenic, nononcogenic, and overall HPV. Regular condom use was associated with reduced risk for oncogenic and overall HPV. CONCLUSION: These findings, if confirmed by other studies, could impact public health practices and messages regarding HPV.  相似文献

Fifty women attending a clinic for sexually transmitted diseases with vulval condylomata acuminata were examined by cervical cytology and colposcopy for cervical infection by human papillomavirus (HPV) or epithelial abnormality indicating cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) or both. Collated results showed a high prevalence of both conditions in these 50 women; 25 (50%) had evidence of cervical infection by HPV and 18 (36%) epithelial abnormalities consistent with CIN 1 or 2.  相似文献

OBJECTIVES: We wanted to compare detection of a broad spectrum of human papillomavirus (HPV) types detected in cellular specimens from the vagina and cervix, which could provide information about the potential of each anatomical site for harboring infection. Previous studies have failed to present data on or detect a broad spectrum of HPV genotypes and/or have not carefully sampled the vagina, instead relying on self-collection that is likely contaminated with cervical cells. STUDY DESIGN: We conducted follow-up study of 353 women who had participated in study of HPV and cervical neoplasia in Costa Rica. We collected paired cervical and vaginal specimens; vaginal specimens were collected from the fornix to minimize cervical contamination. Specimens were tested in a masked fashion for >40 HPV types using a MY09/MY11 PCR method and type-specific dot blot hybridization. RESULTS: The prevalence for any carcinogenic HPV type in vaginal and cervical specimens was similar (P = 0.3). However, the prevalence for any HPV type in vaginal specimens was greater than in cervical specimens (P = 0.0002), primarily due to a twofold increased vaginal prevalence of HPV types of the alpha3/alpha15 phylogenetic species (e.g., HPV61) (P <0.00005). CONCLUSIONS: Carcinogenic HPV types appeared to have a similar affinity for vaginal and cervical epithelium, but noncarcinogenic HPV types of the alpha3/alpha15 phylogenetic species may have a tropism for vaginal epithelium.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: The high rate of cervical cancer among aboriginal women of northern Canada has prompted the search for more aggressive methods to augment Papanicolaou (Pap) screening in this population. Nearly all cervical cancers result from oncogenic human papillomavirus (HPV) infections. This has generated interest for incorporating HPV testing into the current screening program. GOALS: To determine the prevalence of oncogenic HPVs in Nunavut, and to assess the association between HPV and squamous intraepithelial lesions (SIL). STUDY DESIGN: A cross-sectional study was conducted on the Pap-screened populations in 19 communities of Nunavut, Canada. Liquid-based cytology was used to screen for SIL. HPV testing was performed using the Hybrid Capture II assay. Correlates of HPV infection and SIL were assessed by logistic regression with control for potential confounders. RESULTS: In 1290 women ages 13 to 79 years, the prevalence rate was 26% for oncogenic HPV and 6.9% for SIL. The odds ratio for the association between HPV and SIL was 37.9 (95% CI, 17.7-80.8) after multivariate adjustment. This association increased markedly with increasing viral load. More than 90% of the women with squamous intraepithelial lesions had positive test results for HPV. More than 75% of the women who had positive test results for HPV but negative test results for SIL were younger than 30 years. CONCLUSION: The results of this study form the basis for further evaluation of the role that liquid-based cytology and HPV testing plays and will contribute to the strategy for cervical cancer prevention in Nunavut.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: To develop strategies for prevention and early treatment of human papillomavirus (HPV) anal and penile cancer, a better understanding of related sexual behavior risk factors is needed. GOAL: The goal of this study was to establish the prevalence of anal and coronal sulcus HPV in a group of men who have sex with men participating in a Dutch gay-cohort study, to identify risk factors associated with HPV infection in this group, and to investigate the presence of identical HPV types in couples with stable relationships. STUDY DESIGN: A cross-sectional study of 241 HIV-negative and 17 HIV-positive men who have sex with men visiting the sexually transmitted disease clinic of the Erasmus MC for a regular and scheduled examination. Participants underwent a routine venereological examination including HIV serologic analysis, and swabs were taken from the coronal sulcus and anus for HPV DNA testing. All subjects were asked to complete a questionnaire on sexual risk behavior. RESULTS: HPV DNA was detected at the coronal sulcus in 23.5% of the HIV-positive men and in 15.8% of the HIV-negative men (P=0.492). In anal specimens, HPV DNA was detected in 64.7% of the HIV-positive men and 32.8% of the HIV-negative men (P=0.015). High-risk HPV types (P=0.007) and 2 or more different HPV genotypes (P=0.006) were seen more often in anal specimens of HIV-positive persons than in specimens of HIV-negative persons. A factor possibly associated with the presence of anal HPV infection was a concomitant anal infection with Chlamydia trachomatis, gonococci, or herpes simplex virus (P=0.059). In only 16.7% of HPV-positive steady couples, both companions showed the presence of one or more identical HPV genotypes. CONCLUSION: In this study, anal HPV DNA was detected more often than HPV DNA at the coronal sulcus. HIV positivity was associated with a higher prevalence of high-risk, but not with low-risk HPV types, at the anus. No association was found between HIV positivity and presence of high-risk HPV at the coronal sulcus. No sexual behavioral determinants for the presence of HPV could be identified. Concomitant anal infection with C trachomatis, gonococci, or herpes simplex virus may be associated with HPV infection. In the majority of steady couples, partners were infected with different HPV types.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE--To study the prevalence of human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, using several different hybridisation techniques, in men whose female sexual partners had cervical HPV and/or cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN). METHODS--The male genital area was examined colposcopically and areas suspicious of HPV changes were biopsied. Each biopsy was subjected to histological examination and HPV DNA analysis by conventional DNA analysis such as Southern, reverse and dot blot as well as with polymerase chain reaction (PCR). RESULTS--Colposcopic examination of men showed 133 to be normal whilst 82 (38%) had clinical or subclinical lesions. Of 55 colposcopically directed biopsies from the male lesions taken, detection of HPV DNA by hybridisation with conventional techniques and by PCR showed HPV DNA in 29 (53%) and 47 (85%) of biopsies respectively. Overall HPV types 6/11 were the predominant types. In 18 (33%) biopsies positive by PCR, multiple types were found. CONCLUSION--HPV DNA was present in the majority of biopsy specimens taken, with HPV 6/11 being the predominant type. Among methods for HPV DNA detection, PCR was the most sensitive and useful technique.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Only a few studies have been done involving detection of human papillomavirus (HPV) DNA on the external genitalia of men without genital warts, although many have been done for women. We conducted HPV DNA detection among healthy male volunteers and men with urethritis, both having no visible lesions on their external genitalia. GOAL: The goal of the study was to determine the detection rate of HPV DNA in volunteers and patients with urethritis and to determine risk factor(s) for positive DNA. STUDY DESIGN: This was a prospective clinical study. RESULTS: HPV DNA was found in 1.3% of 75 volunteers and in 18.5% of 130 patients with urethritis. DNA of a high-intermediate oncogenic risk was more predominant than the low-risk type. Among various risk factors, only a history of STD was a significant factor for the positive detection of HPV DNA in multiple regression analysis. CONCLUSION: HPV DNA was found in patients with urethritis more frequently than in volunteers, probably because the former had higher sexual activity.  相似文献

One hundred and sixteen consecutive women attending a Baltimore City STD clinic were studied for the prevalence of human papillomavirus (HPV) infection of the genital tract using three criteria: presence of clinically recognized (visible) genital warts, cytopathologic evidence suggestive of HPV infection in a Papanicolaou smear, and analysis of cervical scrapes for genital tract HPV genomic sequences by Southern hybridization. The women were young (median age: 22 years) and more than 80% had a history of one or more STDs. The prevalences were 17% for visible warts, 41% for cytologic findings suggestive of HPV infection, and 12% for HPV DNA in cervical scrapes. Comparing the results of the three techniques, HPV DNA was found significantly more often in cytopathology-positive women than in cytopathology-negative women (18% vs. 5%, P = 0.05) and in women with visible warts than in women without visible warts (29% vs. 6%, P = 0.01). Visible warts were more common in women with HPV-DNA-positive cervical scrapes than in HPV-negative women (50% vs. 14%, P = .01). Although 52% of women were judged as infected by at least one of the three criteria, only 4% were infected by using all three criteria. The prevalence of infection was 23% if cytopathology alone was excluded as evidence of HPV infection. These results indicate the difficulty in an accurate estimation of the prevalence of HPV infections, even in a high-risk population.  相似文献

OBJECTIVES: To estimate prevalence and determinants of high risk (HR) human papillomavirus (HPV) by country of origin in women attending a family planning centre (FPC) in Alicante, Spain. METHODS: Cross sectional study of all women attending a FPC from May 2003 to January 2004. An ad hoc questionnaire was designed and data were collected prospectively. HR HPV infection was determined through the Digene HPV test, Hybrid Capture II, and positive samples for PCR were directly sequenced. Data were analysed through multiple logistic regression. RESULTS: HR HPV prevalence in 1011 women was 10% (95% CI: 8.2 to 12). Compared to Spaniards (prevalence 8.2%) HR HPV prevalence in Colombians was 27.5% (OR: 4.24 95% CI: 2.03 to 8.86), 23.1% in Ecuadoreans (OR: 3.35 95% CI: 1.30 to 8.63), and 22.73% in women from other Latin American countries (OR: 3.29 95% CI: 1.17 to 9.19). Women with more than three lifetime sexual partners had an increased risk of HR HPV infection (OR 3.21 95% CI: 2.02 to 5.10). The higher risk of HR HPV infection was maintained in Latin American women in multivariate analyses that adjusted for age, number of lifetime sexual partners, and reason for consultation. The commonest HPV types in women with normal cervical smears were HPV-18 (20%), HPV-16 (14%) and HPV-33 (11%). CONCLUSIONS: Prevalence of HR HPV is more than three times higher in Latin Americans than in Spaniards. Latin American women's HPV prevalence resembles more that of their countries of origin. It is essential that health service providers identify these women as a priority group in current cervical screening programmes.  相似文献

OBJECTIVES--To determine prevalence of human papillomavirus (HPV) in Wellington women, to identify risk factors for HPV infection, to correlate presence of HPV with cervical cytology, and to identify characteristics of women infected with HPV but with normal cytology. DESIGN--Demographic, social, personal and clinical data were collected by a confidential self-administered coded questionnaire. The presence of DNA from HPV types 6/11, 16 + 18 and 31 + 33 in cervical scrapes was determined by dot-blot DNA hybridisation. All data were correlated with cervical cytology results. SETTING AND SUBJECTS--Two thousand and twenty one women attending family planning clinics in the Wellington region participated in the study. The mean age of participants was 26 years, 33.3% currently smoked, 72.3% used hormonal contraceptives, 31.4% were married, and 91.4% were of European origin. RESULTS--We found 10.9% of the study group infected with HPV. HPV types 16 and/or 18 predominated, being detected in 71.5% of HPV-positive women either alone or with other types. Of those infected 26.2% had multiple infections. Dysplasia (n = 87) or atypia (n = 84) were observed in 26.7% of infected women (n = 221) and 6.25% of uninfected women (n = 1792). Over 8% of women with normal smears were HPV positive, and types 16/18 were most common in these women. CONCLUSIONS--Women with cervical dysplasia or atypia were six times more likely to have HPV infection than other women. The main risk factor for HPV infection, particularly with types 16 and/or 18, was multiple (> 5) sexual partners in the last year independent of other variables. Multivariate analysis of data showed no independent association between HPV infection and ethnicity, educational background, smoking history, marital status, contraceptive use, age at first sexual intercourse, or number of lifetime sexual partners.  相似文献
