医学数字影像设备间实现互联

将PHILIPS MR Achival 1.5T图像处理工作站(ViewForum 3.2,简称VF)和GE Lightspeed Qx/I CT图像处理工作站(Sun Advantage Workstation 4.0,简称AW4.0)通过打印共享网络的中心集线器(HUB,D-Link 10/100)相连接,并进行DICOM相关设置,确保DICOM信息的相互交流。成功地实现了DICOM影像在工作站间的相互传送和异机图像处理。

探讨 Google Eanll(GE)在传染病早期预警结果 三维可视化中的应用.模拟实时监测系统,采用前瞻性时空扫描统计量对2005年上海市、江苏省、浙江省214个区县麻疹病例数据进行逐日前瞻性分析.选择其中部分预警结果,采用GE对其进行三维可视化呈现,完整展示预警结果 中包含的时间、地域、实际发病数、理论发病数等若干相关重要信息.GE在传染病实时监测及早期预警中具有潜在的重要应用价值,可进一步研发将其与网络直报系统和聚集性探测方法 集成的计算机系统.

Abstract：

The purpose of this article was to investigate the application of Google Earth (GE)in the Three Dimensional Visualization(TDV)of the warnings signaled by early warning system of infectious disease.As an example.the prospective space-time scan statistics was used by mimicking daily prospective analyses of bacillary dysentery data from Shanghai municipality,Zhejiang province and Jiangsu province in 2005.Then one of the warnings was picked to illustrate the visualization of GE.GE could vividly display the results in three dimensions containing the complex information including date,areas,observed numbers,expected numbers ere.GE seemed a useful tool for infectious disease surveillance and had potential important values in reflecting the emergency response situation.The development of integrated system which consisted of GE,the infectious disease reporting system and cluster detection methods need to be emphasized for further research.

Ginseng extract inhibits lipolysis in rat adipocytes in vitro by activating phosphodiesterase 4

Elevated concentrations of plasma free fatty acids (FFA) may cause insulin resistance. Inhibition of lipolysis reduces FFA availability and improves insulin sensitivity. Ginseng extract (Panax spp., GE) was shown to improve glycemia in Type 2 diabetes. In the present study, the antilipolytic effect of GE in rat adipocytes and the signaling pathway for GE antilipolysis were investigated. Adipocytes were isolated from rat fat tissue by collagenase digestion. The ability of GE to inhibit lipolysis was assessed by measuring glycerol and FFA release into the incubation medium. Phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3-K) inhibitor and various phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitors were applied to investigate the signaling pathway for GE antilipolysis. The present study showed that insulin and GE inhibited lipolysis by 42.4 and 49% compared with basal, respectively (P < 0.05). Unlike insulin, the PI3-K inhibitor wortmannin did not reverse GE antilipolysis, and GE did not affect phosphorylation of protein kinase B (PKB). The nonselective PDE inhibitor enprofylline reversed both insulin and GE antilipolysis. The specific phosphodiesterase 3 (PDE3) inhibitor cilostamide reversed insulin antilipolysis completely, but did not significantly affect GE antilipolysis. The specific phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor rolipram did not significantly affect insulin antilipolysis, but almost completely reversed GE antilipolysis. Moreover, the combination of PDE3 and PDE4 inhibitors completely reversed GE antilipolysis. None of the ginsenosides (Rb1, Re, Rg1, Rc, Rb2, and Rd) were responsible for GE antilipolysis. The results suggest that ginseng exerts its antilipolytic effect through a signaling pathway different from that of insulin. GE antilipolysis is mediated in part by activating PDE4 in rat adipocytes.     

多排螺旋CT几何效率影响因素初步研究

目的：研究多排螺旋CT几何效率与准直宽度及管电压的关系。方法：使用长杆电离室测量不同准值宽度以及管电压下体模内剂量分布曲线并计算其几何效率。结果：多排螺旋CT的几何效率为11%～68%,其中中心位置的几何效率为11%～49%,边缘4个位置的几何效率为16%～68%,加权几何效率为17%～58%。随准直宽度的增加,几何效率明显增高,而管电压对几何效率的影响不明显。结论：多排螺旋CT几何效率受准直宽度影响较大,因此在实际临床操作中应选择适当的准直宽度进行扫描以减小患者的辐射剂量负担。     

Effects of drink carbonation on the gastric emptying characteristics of water and flavored water

The intent of this study was to determine whether adding carbonation to either water or a low calorie sport drink would affect gastric emptying (GE). Fifteen subjects rode for 20 minutes on a cycle ergometer at 55% of max VO2. After 5 minutes of exercise, the subjects ingested 5.5 ml/kg body weight of a test solution: water (W), carbonated water (CW), and a low calorie sport drink in both a carbonated (C2C) and noncarbonated (2C) form. At the end of each ride, the stomach was emptied through gastric aspiration. The results indicate that carbonation has no effect on GE. However, the type of drink did have an effect on GE, as both 2C and C2C emptied from the stomach at a slower rate than either W or CW. Subjective ratings of gastrointestinal comfort were similar for both carbonated and noncarbonated forms, and at no time did the subjects report discomfort. The results were independent of the exercise challenge, as exercise intensity, heart rate, and ratings of perceived exertion did not differ between experimental trials. It is concluded that carbonation does not affect the GE characteristics of a drink taken during submaximal exercise, but the flavoring system of the low calorie beverage decreased the rate of GE by as much as 25% when compared to water.     

PICA 0.35T全身磁共振成像系统图像的有效性评价

目的评价国产PICA0.35T全身磁共振成像系统T1WI及T2WI图像的有效性。方法选取100例受试者在PICA0.35T机器及普济医院的SIGNA EXCITE 1.5T（GE公司）磁共振机器上分别进行对照扫描,再由两名医师对采集图像按照有效性的项指标进行评价。结果国产PICA0.35T磁共振成像系统图像质量与对照组类似,结果经统计学检验,两组间差异无统计学意义（P〉0.05）。结论国产PICA0.35T全身磁共振成像系统对正常和所示病理组织具有较好的显示能力,能满足临床诊断要求。
