目的了解青海省35~44岁中年人患龋状况及掌握龋病发病的基线资料。方法参考《第三次全国口腔健康流行病学调查方案》的标准,采用多阶段分层等容量随机抽样的方法,首次对全省35~44岁中年人患龋状况进行流行病学抽样调查。结果青海省35~44岁中年人恒牙冠患龋率为64.47%,龋均为2.06,龋齿充填率为8.00%。恒牙根面患龋率为22.19%,龋均为0.36,龋齿充填率为5.92%。残根率为36.29%。恒牙冠及根面患龋率和龋均均为女性高于男性,农村高于城市。结论青海省35~44岁中年人恒牙冠及根面龋齿充填率远低于全国的平均水平。  相似文献

目的了解北京市老年人群的龋病患病情况,为制定口腔卫生保健政策提供参考。方法采用多阶段分层等容量随机抽样方法,抽取北京市65~74岁城乡常住人口792人,男女各半,参照《第三次全国口腔健康流行病学抽样调查方案》检查龋齿情况,计算龋均和患龋率。结果北京市792名受检者恒牙患龋率为66.03%,龋均为2.37;根龋的患龋率为26.39%,龋均为0.46;龋齿充填率为23.88%,其中根龋充填率为5.81%,根龋充填率在城乡的差异有统计学意义(χ2=16.87,P〈0.01)。结论北京市老年人根龋的患龋率和龋均呈现上升趋势,充填率低,应合理配置城乡口腔医疗资源,采取综合防治措施。  相似文献

目的了解辽宁省35~44、65~74岁人群根面龋的患病状况,探讨预防根面龋病的措施。方法根据第三次全国口腔健康流行病学调查抽样方案,于2005年在辽宁省城市、乡村,采用多阶段分层、等容量随机抽样方法抽取35~44岁、65~74岁年龄组各792人,共1584人进行口腔健康调查。采用SPSS13.0统计软件统计各年龄组患龋率及充填率,并进行比较。结果35~44、65~74岁年龄组人群根面龋患率分别为5.56%、18.69%;龋均分别为0.07、0.36;充填率分别为4.55%、2.70%;两组人群根面龋患龋率、龋均和充填率差异均有统计学意义(P<0.01)。无论是35~44岁年龄组还是65~74岁年龄组人群,辽宁省的城市与乡村、男性与女性受检者的根面龋患率的差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论根面龋是辽宁省35~44、65~74岁年龄组人群常见的口腔疾病之一。应加大口腔健康宣传力度,提高广大群众口腔保健意识,并提高根面龋治愈率。  相似文献

目的 了解北京市5岁儿童乳牙龋病状况,为北京市口腔卫生保健工作提供科学依据.方法 采用多阶段分层等容量随机抽样的方法,抽取北京市5岁城乡常住儿童共792名,男女各半,按<第三次全国口腔健康流行病学调查方案>中的方法,检查全口乳牙患龋情况.结果 在792名受检儿童中,北京市5岁儿童乳牙患龋率为58.59%,乳牙龋均为2.57,农村高于城市;龋齿充填率为17.96%,城市高于农村.结论 应进一步加强乳牙龋病的宣传和预防工作,提高儿童家长对乳牙龋病的重视程度,加强高危人群的监测和防治,加大对农村地区的口腔医疗及人力资源配置的扶持力度.  相似文献

目的:补充分析2005年第三次全国口腔健康流行病学调查青海省35~44、65~74岁年龄组人群根面龋患病状况,为制定适合于中老年人群的龋病防治方案提供基线资料。方法:2005年采用多阶段分层随机抽样的方法,调查青海省城、乡35~44岁年龄组788人,65~74岁年龄组785人的根面龋情况,并应用SPSS 12.0统计软件进行分析。结果:35~44、65~74岁年龄组人群根面龋患龋率分别为21.45%、44.08%;龋均分别为0.345、0.966;65~74岁年龄组人群根面龋患龋率、龋均均高于35~44岁年龄组,两组人群不同性别根面龋、患龋率女性均高于男性;城市患龋率、龋均35~44岁年龄组均低于乡村;两组人群城市充填率均高于乡村;以上差异均具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:根面龋是青海省城乡35~44、65~74岁人群中常见的口腔疾病之一,年龄、性别、地域均与根面龋的发生有关,应引起足够重视。  相似文献

目的了解青海省人群患龋状况及龋病发病的基线资料,为口腔卫生保健工作提供依据。方法根据第3次全国口腔健康流行病学抽样调查方案,首次对青海省5、12、35~44和65~74岁4个年龄组人群的患龋状况进行流行病学抽样调查。采用SPSS13.0软件对数据进行统计分析,以患龋率、龋均和龋充填率作为统计指标。结果5岁年龄组乳牙患龋率和龋均分别为71.63%和3.30。12岁年龄组恒牙冠龋患龋率和龋均分别为22.63%和0.40。35~44岁年龄组恒牙冠龋患龋率和龋均分别为64.47%和2.06。65~74岁年龄组恒牙冠龋患龋率和龋均分别为73.89%和3.08。4个年龄组龋充填率分别为1.85%、2.53%、8.00%和3.47%。结论青海省人群龋病状况不容乐观,龋齿充填率很低,应加强口腔健康教育,采取切实有效的措施,才能降低患龋率,提高龋齿的充填率。  相似文献

目的了解北京市12岁年龄组城乡人群恒牙龋病、牙周健康及氟牙症状况,为北京市口腔卫生保健工作提供信息支持。方法采用多阶段分层等容量随机抽样的方法,抽取北京市12岁城乡常住人口792人,男女各半。按照《第三次全国口腔健康流行病学抽样调查方案》口腔健康检查中牙列状况检查方法和标准,使用CPI探针检查全口恒牙牙冠龋病、牙周健康状况及氟牙症。数据采用SPSS11.5软件统计。结果12岁组恒牙患龋率26.39%,龋均0.47;患龋率和龋均城、乡之间无显著性差异。城市男性低于女性;农村男、女之间无显著性差异。牙龈出血检出率62.88%,人均2.77颗;牙石检出率58.59%,人均3.13颗。氟牙症患病率3.41%,社区氟牙症指数为0.10。结论北京市12岁年龄组人群患龋率及龋均较低,但农村学生的龋齿充填率偏低;牙龈出血及牙石检出率城市学生均高于农村学生;氟牙症患病率和社区氟牙症指数属于正常范围。  相似文献

目的 了解广东省55~74岁人群恒牙冠根龋病状况,为广东省口腔卫生保健工作提供信息支持.方法 采用多阶段分层等容量随机抽样的方法,抽取广东省55~64岁、65~74岁各288人,男女各半,城乡各半.按照第四次全国口腔健康流行病学调查方案中临床牙列检查方法和标准,使用CPI探针检查全口恒牙冠根龋情况.计算患龋率、龋均、充填率等.结果 55~64岁人群恒牙冠龋患病率为77.08%,龋均为2.94,充填率为21.87%;根龋患病率为59.38%,龋均为1.82,残根率为46.18%,充填率为9.18%.65~74岁人群恒牙冠龋患病率为81.25%,龋均为3.45,充填率为16.40%;根龋患病率为63.19%,龋均为2.34,残根率为50.35%,充填率为9.18%.55~64岁人群中,女性冠龋患病率(x2=7.862,P=0.005)及龋均(t=2.63,P=0.009)均高于男性,差异具有统计学意义;根龋龋均在城乡分布中有差异,农村高于城市,差异具有统计学意义(t=2.12,P=0.035).65~74岁人群中,女性冠龋龋均高于男性,差异具有统计学意义(t=2.47,P=0.014);根龋患病率(x2=4.837,P=0.028)及龋均(t=2.88,P=0.004)在城乡中有差异,农村高于城市.结论 广东省老年人群牙冠及根龋患病率较高,治疗率低,大部分龋齿未得到治疗.  相似文献

This paper reports on a study of dental caries conducted among 1744 urban and rural Chinese (from 20 to 80 years old), who were selected by means of a systematic stratified sampling procedure. The prevalence of one or more decayed or filled teeth ranged from 48 to 90% in urban residents, and from 51 to 97% in rural residents, depending on age. The mean number of decayed or filled teeth ranged from 1.2 (+/- 1.9) among 20-29-year-olds, to 6.2 (+/- 5.5) among 70+-year-olds, and was highest among rural residents. Among 20-29-year-olds, the main components of the DFT were enamel lesions and fillings. Among 30-49-year-olds, the DFT consisted mainly of enamel lesions and filled teeth, as well as teeth with lesions involving the pulpal tissues. In subjects over the age of 50 years, lesions involving pulpal tissues were the predominant type, followed by root-surface lesions. In subjects below the age of 50 years, most of the caries experience derived from coronal surfaces, particularly occlusal surfaces. Root-surface caries was predominantly a feature of persons aged 50 years and above. Despite a large number of surfaces being at risk of root-surface caries, less than 10% of the surfaces were so affected. Although cross-sectional in nature, these data indicate that when the oral hygiene standards are poor, caries lesions continue to develop and progress throughout life. With age, dental caries becomes a substantial oral health problem in this population of adult and elderly Chinese, despite the availability of some dental services.  相似文献

Abstract –  The objectives of this study were to describe root caries patterns of Chinese adults and to analyze the effect of selected demographic and socioeconomic factors on these patterns. A total sample of 1080 residents aged 35–44-years-old and 1080 residents aged 65–74-years-old from three urban and three rural survey sites in Hubei Province participated in both an oral health interview and a clinical oral health examination. Root surface caries prevalence rates were 13.1% in the middle-aged group and 43.9% in the elderly group. The mean number of teeth affected by caries in the middle-aged group was reported at 0.21 and 1.0 in the elderly group. Mean Root Caries Index (RCI) scores of the middle-aged were reported at 6.29 and elderly subjects were reported at 11.95. Elderly people living in rural areas reported a higher RCI score (13.24) than those living in urban areas (10.70). A significantly higher frequency of root surface caries was observed in elderly participants ( P  < 0.001, OR = 3.80) and ethnic minorities ( P  < 0.001, OR = 1.93). In addition, smokers, nontea drinkers, and those with an annual household income of 10 000 yuan or less tended to have higher caries prevalence. RCI figures for the different tooth types ranged from 1% to 16%, indicating a wide variation in attack rates. In conclusion, our study suggests that root surface caries occurrence is high among the Chinese adult population, especially older adults. With an increasing number of retained teeth in both middle-aged and elderly people, root caries is a growing disease in the People's Republic of China which deserves more attention in future research.  相似文献

Southern China is the most prosperous part of China, but information useful for oral care planning is very limited. A large-scale epidemiological survey was conducted in 1996-97. The objectives of this report were to describe the coronal and root caries of the adult Southern Chinese and to analyze the influence of selected demographic and socio-economic factors on the disease pattern. A total sample of 1,573 35- to 44-year-olds and 1,515 65- to 74-year-olds from 8 urban and 8 rural survey sites in Guangdong Province participated in an oral health interview and underwent clinical examination. World Health Organization examination procedures and diagnostic criteria were used. The weighted mean DMFT scores of the middle-aged and the elderly subjects were 4.8 and 16.1, respectively. People living in rural areas had a higher DMFT score than those living in urban areas (4.9 vs. 4.3 in the 35- to 44-year-olds and 16.5 vs. 14.7 in the 65- to 74-year-olds). In both age groups, MT was the major component of the DMFT score. Analysis of covariance showed that women and those who were economically less well off had higher DMFT scores in both age groups. The weighted prevalence rates of decayed/filled roots were 12% and 37%, with a mean of 0.2 and 0.7 teeth affected, in the middle-aged and the elderly, respectively. In conclusion, socio-economic factors had a considerable effect on the dental caries status of adults in Southern China.  相似文献

目的:调查广东连南瑶族成人(35~44岁年龄组)龋病流行情况,为连南瑶族地区开展龋病防治措施提供依据。方法采用多阶段分层等容量随机抽样的方法,抽取连南县城和各乡镇年龄在35~44岁之间的瑶族人720名,进行龋病流行病学调查。结果连南瑶族成人患龋率为58.33%,乡镇明显高于县城(c2=7.406,P=0.006);龋均为5.63±4.92,乡镇明显高于县城(u=2.704,P=0.007);龋齿充填率为7.20%,县城明显高于乡镇(c2=33.962,P<0.001);平均失牙数为3.04,乡镇明显高于县城(u=5.000,P<0.001)。结论连南瑶族成人龋病的流行病学情况城乡差异显著,且龋齿充填率较低,平均失牙数较高。  相似文献

目的 了解广东省12~15岁人群恒牙龋病状况,为广东省口腔卫生保健工作提供信息支持.方法 采用多阶段分层等容量随机抽样的方法,抽取广东省12、13、14、15岁城乡常住人口各1920人,男女各半,城乡各半.按照第四次全国口腔健康流行病学调查方案的牙列检查方法和标准,使用CPI探针检查全口恒牙冠龋患病情况.计算患龋率、龋均、充填率等.结果 12、13、14、15岁人群患龋率分别为43.07%、45.31%、49.69%、52.86%,龋均分别为1.06、1.13、1.38、1.59,龋齿充填率分别为20.19%、21.50%、22.86%、21.33%.患龋率和龋均两项指标均随着年龄增加而增加,差异有统计学意义(P<0.0001);患龋率和龋均两指标城乡之间比较,农村高于城市,差异有统计学意义(P<0.001);不同性别间比较,女性高于男性,差异有统计学意义(P<0.0001).与2005年相比,12岁人群患龋率和龋均均升高.结论 广东省12~15岁人群患龋率和龋均随着年龄增加而增加,农村高于城市,女性高于男性,充填率低.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: The purpose of this study was to assess the prevalence of dental caries in Quebec adults aged 35 to 44. METHODS: A stratified sample was used. The participation rate was 77% for the questionnaire and 44.5% for the oral examination. A total of 2,110 people were examined. The World Health Organization's caries criteria were used. Examiner agreement with gold standard dentist was excellent at the end of the nine-day training session (Kappa index > 0.8). RESULTS: The level of caries experience is very high in Quebec adults aged 35 to 44. Almost half of dental surfaces (65 of 148) have been affected. These surfaces are mostly missing (39.3) or filled (23.9). However, there were 1.8 decayed surfaces in need of treatment per adult, and more than half the people (55.5%) had no untreated decayed surfaces. Almost three-quarters of decayed surfaces were present in only 14% of the people; lower family income and lower education are risk factors. CONCLUSION: Comparison between Quebec and industrialized countries (United States, England and the Netherlands) shows that in adults 35 to 44, the mean number of decayed teeth is low (between 1.0 and 2.2) and the mean number of filled teeth is relatively similar (between 9.6 and 11.1); however, Quebec has a higher percentage than the United States of edentulous people. As well, in dentate adults, there are 1.6 times more missing teeth among Quebecers than among Americans.  相似文献
