Implementing a team-based SBIRT model in primary care clinics

The success of a pioneering home detoxification service (HDS) in attracting female clients is discussed. The HDS under consideration was established in central Scotland during 1991, and was introduced to reduce demands by problem drinkers on in-patient hospital facilities and to experiment with the possibility that a nurse-led, home-based service could meet community needs in a fuller and more efficient manner. Since its inception, the HDS has become popular with general practitioners and, by 1997, they had handled over 650 clients per year. Several features of the HDS have been assumed to be especially attractive to female problem drinkers. These include the ability of clients to remain at home during detoxification and that they are not expected to attend male dominated mixed gender groups. In fact, the ratio of females being detoxified by the HDS has not been significantly higher than amongst those in Scottish agencies providing services for problem drinkers. The reasons for this are discussed.     

标准化病人在临床护理评估培训及考核中的应用

目的:探讨标准化病人(SP)在临床护理评估培训及考核中的应用效果。方法:分层随机选取护士116人,按入选顺序分单、双抽签号进入对照组与实验组,各58人。实验组护士除采用传统方法培训外,增加SP形式的培训并采用SP形式考核(培训后);考核后对实验组护士进行问卷调查。结果:两组护士护理评估质量比较,P<0.05,具有统计学差异,实验组护理评估质量高于对照组;实验组93%的护士对SP的考核形式非常满意或满意,90%的护士认同SP的考核形式能客观公正反映护士护理评估的质量。结论:采用SP形式的培训方法提高了护理评估质量;护士对SP的考核形式认同度较高,该方法值得在临床推广应用。     

护理本科教育中开设遗传与优生课程的探讨

针对护理本科教育的培养目标，探讨在改革传统护理教育模式的过程中，开设遗传与优生课程的意义，并就两年的实践教学进行总结，本课程共计72学时，理论54学时，实验及实践环节18学时，实践含临床见习和社会调查。对解决开设该课程所存在的教材、师资等问题提出了建议。     

模拟教学在护理学基础课程教学中的实施与效果

目的探讨综合模拟人在护理学基础课程教学中的具体应用方法及效果。方法应用综合模拟人对134名护生进行护理学基础实验教学,采用自行设计的问卷调查护生对模拟教学的评价。结果分别有97.76%、97.01%、94.03%、96.27%、95.52%、98.51%、97.76%、94.78%、98.51%的护生的认为模拟教学在理论知识的理解、激发技能操作练习积极性、学习主动性、综合能力的提高、临床思维及应变、沟通、团队协作能力、理论联系实际和增强学习效果、身临其境等方面具有优越性。结论模拟教学使护生在近似真实的临床场景进行学习,有利于护生综合能力的提高。     

护理学专业本科学科建设的发展现状和对策

介绍了国外和国内护理本科教育现状;指出目前我国护理本科的学科建设存在对学科建设认识不够、缺乏高水平的学术梯队、科学研究相对薄弱、学科建设经费不足等问题,影响和制约护理学科建设的开展;认为高等护理院校可通过立足学校实际,不断强化学科建设意识,突出特色,重点攻关,以课题带动学科建设等途径开展护理本科学科建设。

我院建立护理规范服务培训基地的实践与效果

目的树立医院护士形象,提升护理服务满意度,打造优质护理服务品牌。方法通过建立医院护理规范服务培训基地,研究制定建设实施方案与培训计划,组织全院新护士分批次到规范服务培训基地进行培训,收集护理人员和患者对规范服务培训效果的反馈。结果接受培训的新护士自身素质有了本质改变,提高了护士的群体形象和沟通能力,提升了护理服务满意度。结论建立护理规范服务培训基地,实施护理规范服务培训,是提升护士形象、提高护理服务水平的有效途径。     

大专护理教育中的社区护理实践

目的 探索大专社区护理实践教学。方法 我院在原有课程设置的基础上增设了《社区护理》，其中理论24学时，实习30学时。结果 通过理论和实践的培养，提高了护生开展社区护理的兴趣，增强了护生从事社区服务的能力。结论 大专社区护理教育应积极开展实践教学。     

护理本科生《护理学基础》双语教学初探

对我校2002级、2004级护理本科生尝试开展《护理学基础》中英文双语教学,并在此基础上总结和思考《护理学基础》双语教学组织和实施中应把握的重要环节,包括课前双语教学内容的确立,教师、学生和教材的准备,基本教学方式和课堂教学方法的选择以及课后教学反馈。此外,提出几点建议:结合《护理学基础》课程特点进一步完善双语教学模式和策略;积极推进双语教材的建设,为双语教学的开展提供条件;加强双语教学师资队伍培养,提高双语教学水平。     

口腔修复专科护理操作规范化培训的实践

目的探讨口腔修复专科护理操作规范化培训的做法。方法建立一套规范化操作指导的培训管理模式,形成不同年资护理人员的培训体系,制订专科护理操作技术标准及考核标准,对全体护士进行培训。结果患者对护理操作技术的满意度及医生对护士配合的满意度均提高(P0.01)。结论规范口腔护理操作技术,形成口腔修复特色培训模式,提高护理质量。     

Use of nursing homes in Baccalaureate nursing education

Abstract Although the use of nursing homes in nursing education has been described in the published research, no current report exists outlining guidelines for faculty if they desire to use nursing homes for their undergraduate nursing courses. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to identify courses that are best taught in nursing homes and the approaches faculty can implement when using nursing homes for student experience. The use of nursing homes for the courses in fundamentals, leadership and management, research and community health is discussed. A step-by-step approach for faculty to initiate the use of nursing homes for undergraduate teaching is also provided. The nature of the faculty, the characteristics of nursing home settings and the characteristics within the community will affect students' learning experiences and effectiveness. Thus, it is important to consider nursing homes as appropriate for certain types of learning needs.     

Development and testing of a practicum matching program for baccalaureate nursing education,a local public health unit

This article describes a novel approach to nursing education, designed to improve the experience of both students in public health nursing, and the local public health unit where they affiliate. Students, faculty, and public health department staff developed a method for matching programs and needs of the local public health unit to the skills and learning needs of nursing students. We describe our experience articulating student competencies, program-specific functions, and an approach to matching student interests and learning opportunities to agency needs. Students, faculty, and staff rated the program moderately to very high in feasibility, satisfaction, and acceptability. Data suggest the novel program served to improve the quality of the practicum affiliation, to the satisfaction of both the school and agency, while contributing to a robust public health learning experience for emerging professional nurses.
