ObjectiveThe aim of this study is the evaluation of inter-observer variability in the measurement of liver metastases according to RECIST and its influence on response classification.Patients and methodsA total of 100 radiologists measured liver target lesions, on pre- and post-chemotherapy CT scans of three patients. Each observer filled out a questionnaire about his personal and work features. The evaluations of a well experienced radiologist, considered as “the gold standard”, were compared to those taken by the observers.The percentage of the observers in agreement with the reviewer, in terms of the response category and in terms of inter-observer variability, was calculated for each patient.ResultsThe percentage of the inter-observer agreement was elevated. Most of the observers in agreement with the reviewer were senior radiologists, while those who disagreed were junior radiologist, but this result did not reach a statistical significance. More than 30% of observers disagreed with the reviewer at least in one of the three cases.ConclusionsRECIST measurements are reproducible on a large and heterogeneous population of radiologists. Age and expertise of the radiologist remain the most critical factors: this suggests a revision by well-experienced radiologists in clinical trials.  相似文献

Purpose

Purpose of the study was to compare radiological treatment response according to RECIST, Choi and volumetry in GIST-patients under 2nd-line-sunitinib-therapy and to correlate the results of treatment response assessment with disease-specific survival (DSS).

Patients and methods

20 patients (mean: 60.7 years; 12 male/8 female) with histologically proven GIST underwent baseline-CT of the abdomen under imatinib and follow-up-CTs 3 months and 1 year after change to sunitinib. 68 target lesions (50 hepatic, 18 extrahepatic) were investigated. Therapy response (partial response (PR), stable disease (SD), progressive disease (PD)) was evaluated according to RECIST, Choi and volumetric criteria. Response according to the different assessment systems was compared and correlated to the DSS of the patients utilizing Kaplan–Meier statistics.

Results

The mean DSS (in months) of the response groups 3 months after therapy change was: RECIST: PR (0/20); SD (17/20): 30.4 (months); PD (3/20) 11.6. Choi: PR (10/20) 28.6; SD (8/20) 28.1; PD (2/20) 13.5. Volumetry: PR (4/20) 29.6; SD (11/20) 29.7; PD (5/20) 17.2.Response groups after 1 year of sunitinib showed the following mean DSS: RECIST: PR (3/20) 33.6; SD (9/20) 29.7; PD (8/20) 20.3. Choi: PR (10/20) 21.5; SD (4/20) 42.9; PD (6/20) 23.9. Volumetry: PR (6/20) 27.3; SD (5/20) 38.5; PD (9/20) 19.3.

Conclusion

One year after modification of therapy, only partial response according to RECIST indicated favorable survival in patients with GIST. The value of alternate response assessment strategies like Choi criteria for prediction of survival in molecular therapy still has to be demonstrated.  相似文献

Liver angiograms of 27 patients with hepatic carcinoid metastases were analyzed for distribution, size, degree of vascularity, and patterns of tumor staining. Computed tomography (CT) scans were evaluated before and after bolus contrast administration in 13 of the cases. The diagnostic capability of the two procedures was compared. Angiography detected metastases, some less than 1 cm in size in all 13 patients; in 5 of 13 cases (38.5%) CT did not detect any hepatic metastases. In the eight patients in whom CT demonstrated metastases, the patterns of lesions and usefulness of contrast varied. Angiography is essential for evaluation of patients with suspected carcinoid metastases to the liver. This work was supported by Grant No. 1406-B81-03XA from the Swedish Cancer Society.  相似文献

Colorectal cancer is one of the few malignant tumors in which synchronous or metachronous liver metastases [colorectal liver metastases (CRLMs)] may be treated with surgery. It has been demonstrated that resection of CRLMs improves the long-term prognosis. On the other hand, patients with un-resectable CRLMs may benefit from chemotherapy alone or in addition to liver-directed therapies. The choice of the most appropriate therapeutic management of CRLMs depends mostly on the diagnostic imaging. Nowadays, multiple non-invasive imaging modalities are available and those have a pivotal role in the workup of patients with CRLMs. Although extensive research has been performed with regards to the diagnostic performance of ultrasonography, computed tomography, positron emission tomography and magnetic resonance for the detection of CRLMs, the optimal imaging strategies for staging and follow up are still to be established. This largely due to the progressive technological and pharmacological advances which are constantly improving the accuracy of each imaging modality. This review describes the non-invasive imaging approaches of CRLMs reporting the technical features, the clinical indications, the advantages and the potential limitations of each modality, as well as including some information on the development of new imaging modalities, the role of new contrast media and the feasibility of using parametric image analysis as diagnostic marker of presence of CRLMs.  相似文献

Objectives

The aim of this study was to compare volume measurements on computed tomography (CT) images with histopathological assessments of chemoradiotherapy (CRT)-induced tumor regression in locally advanced rectal cancer (RC).

Methods

In 25 patients (13 males, 12 females; median age, 63 years; age range, 44–79 years) with locally advanced RC treated with preoperative CRT and surgery, two radiologists measured tumor volume on CT images before and after CRT. CT-based tumor volumetry and the modified response evaluation criteria in solid tumors (mRECISTs) were compared with T and N downstaging after CRT, and with the tumor regression grade (TRG).

Results

Tumor volumes were significantly smaller on CT images after CRT. The tumors regressed in 52% (13/25), 36% (9/25) and 40% (10/25) of patients, based on T downstaging, TRG and mRECIST findings, respectively. In terms of T downstaging, the pre- and post-CRT tumor volumes of responders and non-responders to the treatment differed statistically, while their tumor volume reduction rates and volume reductions according to the 65% mRECIST threshold did not. In terms of N downstaging and TRG, the differences between the responders’ and the non-responders’ pre- and post-CRT tumor volumes, tumor volume reduction rates, and mRECIST thresholds were never statistically significant.

Conclusion

Measuring tumor size on CT images is of limited value in predicting the histopathological response to preoperative CRT in RC patients, so it may be unwise to select surgical treatment strategies based on CT volumetry.  相似文献

Purpose

To assess the value of multiphase-subtraction-CT for early detection of colorectal-liver-metastases (CRLM).

Methods and materials

In 50 patients suspected of CRLM a routine pre-operative 4-phase-CT-scan of the upper abdomen was obtained. All 12 possible image subtractions between two different phases were constructed applying 3D-image-registration to decrease distortion artefacts induced by differences in inspiration volume. Two experienced radiologists initially reviewed the conventional 4-phase-CT for malignant and/or benign appearing lesions and at least 1-month hereafter the same 4-phase-CT now including the subtracted images. The results were compared to histology reports or to a combination of surgical exploration and intraoperative ultrasound together with results from pre-operative PET and follow-up examinations.

Results

Although an additional number of 31 malignant appearing lesions were detected on the subtraction images, none proved to represent a true CRLM. Interobserver agreement (κ) decreased from 0.627 (good) to 0.418 (fair).

Conclusion

Adding linearly co-registered subtraction-CT images to a conventional 4-phase-CT protocol does not improve detection of CRLM.  相似文献

Objectives

This study evaluates intra- and interobserver variability of automatic diameter and volume measurements of colorectal liver metastases (CRLM) before and after chemotherapy and its influence on response classification.

Methods

Pre-and post-chemotherapy CT-scans of 33 patients with 138 CRLM were evaluated. Two observers measured all metastases three times on pre-and post-chemotherapy CT-scans, using three different techniques: manual diameter (MD), automatic diameter (AD) and automatic volume (AV). RECIST 1.0 criteria were used to define response classification. For each technique, we assessed intra- and interobserver reliability by determining the intraclass correlation coefficient (α-level 0.05). Intra-observer agreement was estimated by the variance coefficient (%). For inter-observer agreement the relative measurement error (%) was calculated using Bland–Altman analysis. In addition, we compared agreement in response classification by calculating kappa-scores (κ) and estimating proportions of discordance between methods (%).

Results

Intra-observer variability was 6.05%, 4.28% and 12.72% for MD, AD and AV, respectively. Inter-observer variability was 4.23%, 2.02% and 14.86% for MD, AD and AV, respectively. Chemotherapy marginally affected these estimates. Agreement in response classification did not improve using AD or AV (MD κ = 0.653, AD κ = 0.548, AV κ = 0.548) and substantial discordance between observers was observed with all three methods (MD 17.8%, AD 22.2%, AV 22.2%).

Conclusion

Semi-automatic software allows repeatable and reproducible measurement of both diameter and volume measurements of CRLM, but does not reduce variability in response classification.  相似文献

Purpose

Evaluate the diagnostic performance of contrast enhanced CT/PET (ceCT/PET) in the response assessment of patients with colorectal cancer liver metastases.

Methods

33 ce CT/PET studies of 19 patients with colorectal liver metastases were prospectively evaluated. All of them, 13 (68.4%) were males and 6 (31.6%) females. Mean age and range were 63 [42–78]. All patients were treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy. In all cases post-therapy diagnostic confirmation of liver lesions was obtained. A ce CT PET/was obtained 1 h after the injection of 370 MBq of 18F-FDG.Metabolic and morphologic studies were evaluated by two blinded nuclear physicians and radiologists respectively to assess the location, size and suspected diagnosis of lesions (benign or malignant). A combined assessment of both techniques was performed.The final diagnosis was established by histopathology or clinical/radiological follow-up greater than 6 months.

Results

A total of 120 liver lesions were identified, 115 were malignant and 5 benign.From the malignant lesions, 105 were identified with the ceCT, 44 with the PET and 109 with ceCT/PET. All of the benign lesions were correctly classified with any of the three imaging techniques.The sensitivity of PET, ceCT and ceCT/PET were of 38%, 91% and 95% respectively and the specificity was 100% in all three of the diagnostic studies.

Conclusion

Administration of intravenous contrast in the PET/CT is mandatory to evaluate treatment response rate of liver metastases due to the limitations of isolated metabolic images in these cases.  相似文献

To evaluate and compare early therapy response according to RECIST (response evaluation criteria in solid tumours) and modified RECIST criteria using MRI techniques in patients with malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) in comparison with CT. Fifty patients with MPM (32 male/18 female) were included in this study. Early therapy response was evaluated after 9 weeks [three of six chemotherapy (CHT)] cycles. Additionally patients were examined before chemotherapy, 4 weeks after early therapy response evaluation and after six cycles to evaluate diagnostic follow-up. RECIST and modified RECIST criteria were applied using CT and MRI (HASTE, VIBE, T2-TSE sequences). In MRI additionally a volumetric approach measuring tumour weight (overall segmented tumour volume) was applied. Additionally vital capacity (VC) was measured for correlation. Image interpretation was performed by three independent readers independently and in consensus. The 'gold standard' was follow-up examination. Twenty-eight patients showed partial response, 12 patients stable disease and 10 patients progressive disease at early therapy response evaluation. In the follow-up these results remained. For MRI, in 46 cases patients were identically classified using RECIST and modified RECIST criteria. Modified RECIST criteria were identically classified as gold standards in all cases, whereas using RECIST criteria in four cases there was a mismatch (partial response vs. stable disease). Modified RECIST kappa values showed better interobserver variability compared with RECIST criteria (kappa=0.9-1.0 vs. 0.7-1.0). For CT, in 44 cases patients were identically classified using RECIST and modified RECIST criteria. Modified RECIST criteria were identically classified as in gold standards in 48 out of 50 patients, whereas using RECIST criteria in 6 cases there was a mismatch (partial response vs. stable disease). Modified RECIST kappa values showed better interobserver variability compared with RECIST criteria (kappa=0.9-1.0 vs. 0.6-1.0). Modified RECIST criteria especially in combination with high-resolution MRI is a very accurate and reproducible technique to correctly evaluate early therapy response in MPM.  相似文献

Purpose

To evaluate the incremental value of arterial and equilibrium phase compared to hepatic venous phase multidetector row CT (MDCT) in the preoperative staging of colorectal liver metastases (CLM) and to determine the influence of the reference standard.

Materials and methods

Fifty-three consecutive CLM patients underwent 16 detector row CT in hepatic arterial, venous, and equilibrium phase before surgery between March 2003 and January 2007. Detected lesions were characterized by three independent radiologists. The reference standard consisted of intraoperative palpation and ultrasound of the liver, and histopathological examination of the resected specimen. Additionally, data of follow-up CT was added. Statistical analysis was performed on a per-lesion basis.

Results

According to the reference standard 251 lesions were present, of which 203 (81%) were malignant (mean size: 29.4 ± 22.5 mm), and 41 (16%) were benign (mean size: 8.3 ± 7.7 mm). Sensitivity rates for CLM were comparable between triphasic and hepatic venous phase CT (P > 0.05). Sensitivity for the detection of CLM lowered from 60-77% to 52-68% when follow-up CT was added to the reference standard.

Conclusion

Arterial and equilibrium phase CT have no incremental value compared to hepatic venous phase MDCT in the detection of CLM. Sensitivity rates are, however, influenced by the type of reference standard used.  相似文献

PURPOSE: Morphologic imaging after radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of liver metastases is hampered by rim-like enhancement in the ablation margin, making the identification of local tumor progression (LTP) difficult. Follow-up with PET/CT is compared to follow-up with PET alone and MRI after RFA. METHODS AND MATERIALS: Sixteen patients showed 25 FDG-positive colorectal liver metastases in pre-interventional PET/CT. Post-interventional PET/CT was performed 24h after ablation and was repeated after 1, 3 and 6 months and then every 6 months. PET and PET/CT data were compared with MR data sets acquired within 14 days before or after these time points. Either histological proof by biopsy or resection, or a combination of contrast-enhanced CT at fixed time points and clinical data served as a reference. RESULTS: The 25 metastases showed a mean size of 20mm and were treated with 39 RFA sessions. Ten lesions which developed LTP received a second round of RFA; four lesions received three rounds of treatment. The mean follow-up time was 22 months. Seventy-two PET/CT and 57 MR examinations were performed for follow-up. The accuracy and sensitivity for tumor detection was 86% and 76% for PET alone, 91% and 83% for PET/CT and 92% and 75% for MRI, respectively. CONCLUSIONS: In comparison to PET alone, PET/CT was significantly better for detecting LTP after RFA. There were no significant differences between MRI and PET/CT. The objective of this paper is to report our results from a prospective study of 167 patients with colorectal liver metastases treated with radio-frequency ablation (RFA). Three hundred fifty-four treatments were performed in 167 patients, 99 males, mean age 57 years (34–87). The mean number of metastases was 4.1 (1–27). The mean maximum diameter was 3.9 cm (1–12). Fifty-one (31%) had stable/treated extra-hepatic disease. Treatments were performed under general anaesthesia using US and CT guidance and single or cluster water-cooled electrodes (Valleylab, Boulder, CO). All patients had been rejected for or had refused surgical resection. Eighty percent received chemotherapy. Survival data were stratified by tumour burden at the time of first RFA. The mean number of RFA treatments was 2.1 (1–7). During a mean follow-up of 17 months (0–89), 72 developed new liver metastases and 71 developed progressive extra-hepatic disease. There were 14/354 (4%) major local complications and 22/354 (6%) minor local complications. For patients with 5 metastases, maximum diameter 5 cm and no extra-hepatic disease, the 5-year survival from the time of diagnosis was 30% and from the time of first thermal ablation was 26%. Given that the 5-year survival for operable patients is a median of 32%, our 5-year survival of 30% is promising.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to investigate the interobserver variability of CT based diameter and volumetric measurements of artificial pulmonary nodules. A special interest was the consideration of different measurement methods, observer experience and training levels. MATERIALS AND METHODS: For this purpose 46 artificial small solid nodules were examined in a dedicated ex-vivo chest phantom with multislice-spiral CT (20 mAs, 120 kV, collimation 16 mm x 0.75 mm, table feed 15 mm, reconstructed slice thickness 1mm, reconstruction increment 0.7 mm, intermediate reconstruction kernel). Two observer groups of different radiologic experience (0 and more than 5 years of training, 3 observers each) analysed all lesions with digital callipers and 2 volumetry software packages (click-point depending and robust volumetry) in a semi-automatic and manually corrected mode. For data analysis the variation coefficient (VC) was calculated in per cent for each group and a Wilcoxon test was used for analytic statistics. RESULTS: Click-point robust volumetry showed with a VC of <0.01% in both groups the smallest interobserver variability. Between experienced and un-experienced observers interobserver variability was significantly different for diameter measurements (p=0.023) but not for semi-automatic and manual corrected volumetry. A significant training effect was revealed for diameter measurements (p=0.003) and semi-automatic measurements of click-point depending volumetry (p=0.007) in the un-experienced observer group. CONCLUSIONS: Compared to diameter measurements volumetry achieves a significantly smaller interobserver variance and advanced volumetry algorithms are independent of observer experience.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to compare relative values of manual unidimensional measurements (MD) and automated volumetry (AV) for longitudinal treatment response assessment in patients with pulmonary metastases. Fifty consecutive patients with pulmonary metastases and repeat chest multidetector-row CT (median interval=2 months) were independently assessed by two radiologists for treatment response using Response Evaluation Criteria In Solid Tumours (RECIST). Statistics included relative measurement errors (RME), intra-/interobserver correlations, limits of agreement (95% LoA), and kappa. A total of 202 metastases (median volume=182.22 mm3; range=3.16–5,195.13 mm3) were evaluated. RMEs were significantly higher for MD than for AV (intraobserver RME=2.34–3.73% and 0.15–0.22% for MD and AV respectively; P<0.05. Interobserver RME=3.53–3.76% and 0.22–0.29% for MD and AV respectively; P<0.05). Overall correlation was significantly better for AV than for MD (P<0.05). Intraobserver 95% LoAs were −1.85 to 1.75 mm for MD and −11.28 to 9.84 mm3 for AV. The interobserver 95% LoA were −1.46 to 1.92 mm for MD and −11.17 to 9.33 mm3 for AV. There was total intra-/interobserver agreement on response using AV (κ=1). MD intra- and interobserver agreements were 0.73–0.84 and 0.77–0.80 respectively. Of the 200 MD response ratings, 28 (14/50 patients) were discordant. Agreement using MD dropped significantly from total remission to progressive disease (P<0.05). We therefore conclude that AV allows for better reproducibility of response evaluation in pulmonary metastases and should be preferred to MD in these patients.  相似文献

The aim of this prospective study was to compare the diagnostic role of superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO)-enhanced liver magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) versus gadobenate dimeglumine (GbD)-enhanced MRI and computed tomography (CT) investigations for detection of small (less than 1 cm) colorectal liver metastases (LMs) of colorectal cancer. Seventy-eight LMs in 16 patients were evaluated with dynamic CT imaging, GbD-enhanced dynamic MR imaging and SPIO-enhanced MR imaging. Two radiologists were reviewed the LMs seperately. Agreement between the readers and three algorithms was analyzed. Differences between the lesion detection ratios of the methods were analyzed by two proportion z test. Sensitivity values of each modality were also calculated. Interobserver agreement values with kappa analysis were found to be the best for three modalities and kappa values were 0.866, 0.843, and 1.0 respectively. For all 78 LMs, SPIO-enhanced MRI detected all lesions (100% sensitivity). This sensitivity value was higher than GbD-enhanced MRI, and there was a significant difference (p < 0.05). GbD-enhanced MRI depicted 71 lesions and this modality could not detected 7 lesions (91% sensitivity). This modality had moderate sensitivity, and this value is greater than CT imaging, so there was a significant difference also (p < 0.05). Dynamic triphasic CT imaging detected 64 (R1) and 65 (R2) LMs. This modality had the lowest sensitivity (R1: 0.82, R2: 0.83 respectively). Only SPIO-enhanced MRI was able to detect all LMs less than 1 cm. LMs were the best detected with SPIO-enhanced MRI. We recommend SPIO-enhanced MRI to be the primary alternative modality especially for diagnosis of small colorectal LMs.  相似文献

ObjectivesCT texture analysis has shown promise to differentiate colorectal cancer patients with/without hepatic metastases.AimTo investigate whether whole-liver CT texture analysis can also predict the development of colorectal liver metastases.Material and methodsRetrospective multicentre study (n = 165). Three subgroups were assessed: patients [A] without metastases (n = 57), [B] with synchronous metastases (n = 54) and [C] who developed metastases within ≤24 months (n = 54). Whole-liver texture analysis was performed on primary staging CT. Mean grey-level intensity, entropy and uniformity were derived with different filters (σ0.5–2.5). Univariable logistic regression (group A vs. B) identified potentially predictive parameters, which were tested in multivariable analyses to predict development of metastases (group A vs. C), including subgroup analyses for early (≤6 months), intermediate (7–12 months) and late (13–24 months) metastases.ResultsUnivariable analysis identified uniformity (σ0.5), sex, tumour site, nodal stage and carcinoembryonic antigen as potential predictors. Uniformity remained a significant predictor in multivariable analysis to predict early metastases (OR 0.56). None of the parameters could predict intermediate/late metastases.ConclusionsWhole-liver CT-texture analysis has potential to predict patients at risk of developing early liver metastases ≤6 months, but is not robust enough to identify patients at risk of developing metastases at later stage.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to analyze long-term results of radiofrequency thermal ablation (RFA) for colorectal metastases (MTS), in order to evaluate predictors for adverse events, technique effectiveness, and survival. One hundred ninety-nine nonresectable MTS (0.5–8 cm; mean, 2.9 cm) in 122 patients underwent a total of 166 RFA sessions, percutaneously or during surgery. The technique was “simple” or “combined” with vascular occlusion. The mean follow-up time was 24.2 months. Complications, technique effectiveness, and survival rates were statistically analyzed. Adverse events occurred in 8.1% of lesions (major complication rate: 1.1%), 7.1% with simple and 16.7% with combined technique (p = 0.15). Early complete response was obtained in 151 lesions (81.2%), but 49 lesions (26.3%) recurred locally after a mean of 10.4 months. Sustained complete ablation was achieved in 66.7% of lesions ≤3 cm versus 33.3% of lesions >3 cm (< 0.0001). Survival rates at 1, 3, and 5 years were 91%, 54%, and 33%, respectively, from the diagnosis of MTS and 79%, 38%, and 22%, respectively, from RFA. Mean survival time from RFA was 31.5 months, 36.2 in patients with main MTS ≤3 cm and 23.2 in those with at least one lesion >3 cm (p = 0.006). We conclude that “simple” RFA is safe and successful for MTS ≤3 cm, contributing to prolong survival when patients can be completely treated. Presented at CIRSE 2006.  相似文献

Objective. To compare polytomography (PT) and computed tomography (CT) for visualizing fractures and arthrodeses, with and without metal hardware, to determine whether CT could adequately replace PT. Design and patients. An ex vivo bovine model containing fractures in three planes, reduced with metal hardware, was created to compare fractures using PT and CT. The radiation dose at the skin surface was calculated for both examinations. For in vivo assessment, images of 14 patients who underwent both PT and CT (15 fractures, five arthrodeses) were coded, sorted, and independently read by four musculoskeletal radiologists. They rated the degree of certainty of their assessment. Time factors for patients and personnel and financial costs were also compared. Results. In the ex vivo model the fractures were well seen on both PT and CT. The radiation dose was higher for PT than for CT. In vivo, the degree of certainty in assessment of fractures and arthrodeses was higher for PT than CT in studies in which metal hardware was present, but there was no significant difference in studies without metal hardware or in the combined (with and without hardware) studies. The patient’s and technologist’s time required to perform a PT examination was greater than that for CT. Conclusion. In the assessment of fractures and arthrodeses containing metal hardware, PT is recommended. For studies without hardware, CT is equivalent and can replace PT. RATIONALE AND OBJECTIVES: The purpose of this study was to determine whether the interval change in hepatic colorectal metastases as assessed with serial computed tomographic (CT) scans without contrast material enhancement differs from that as assessed using serial, portal dominant phase, contrast-enhanced CT scans. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Unenhanced and contrast-enhanced abdominal CT scans were obtained in 28 patients. Three radiologists separately reviewed serial unenhanced and contrast-enhanced studies to assess the interval change in liver metastases. These radiologists recorded total number of lesions, bidimensional measurements of the largest lesions (as many as three), and overall impressions regarding the interval change (none, worse, or better). RESULTS: Among the 84 judgments (28 patients x 3 radiologists), comparisons of unenhanced and contrast-enhanced CT studies were concordant in 60 assessments (71%). Nineteen (23%) showed mild disagreement. Of these, contrast-enhanced CT studies demonstrated disease stability when unenhanced CT studies demonstrated otherwise in 11 judgments, whereas unenhanced CT studies demonstrated stability when contrast-enhanced CT studies demonstrated otherwise in eight assessments. Furthermore, of the five marked disagreements, two resulted from a conclusion of interval improvement on unenhanced CT studies and a conclusion of interval worsening on contrast-enhanced CT studies, whereas three demonstrated the opposite. Neither set of serial CT studies systematically resulted in under- or overestimation of disease progression (McNemar Q test, P < .25). CONCLUSION: The authors found no consistent pattern to demonstrate that serial unenhanced or contrast-enhanced CT studies resulted in over- or underestimation of disease progression.  相似文献
